Chapter 254 S2 (Either What Is Stored In Your Heart.... )

“How do you take care of the cancellation of the wedding? Isn't that illegal?” Edward does not understand the case faced by Ivan, “Moreover it relates to their different beliefs with you.”

He really does not believe that the Khaira family is capable of doing things that are beyond their expectations. He felt that Ivan would be tormented.

“I have a lawyer with the same confidence as my client. The evidence they have for the cancellation submission is also more than enough. Not to mention other supporting evidence that makes our clients want to escape from the wedding that surrounds it.”

“Gosh!”  Edward shook his head in disbelief at Gilbert's words, “When the cancellation process did you speak directly to your client?”

“I only communicate with Mr. Ariq. She didn't let me meet Miss Aisya. She did not want her sister to be pressured by her separation from her husband, let alone they just found out that Miss Aisya was pregnant. They were worried that my client was having a miscarriage for the fourth time, that's what I heard from the conversation of Mr. Ariq and his sister. What else I had heard her husband's side doubting that Miss Aisya was unable to give them the offspring he had with other women, ” Gilbert replied at length.

“Yes, Allah .... “ Ivan felt a pain in his heart hearing Gilbert's words.

Edward looked at Ivan sharply. He was annoyed when Gilbert told a straightforward story of the problems that occurred between Ivan and Khaira.

“Why is the case so the annulment of marriage is not just a divorce? And on what basis did you file for the cancellation of your client's wedding?”  now Ivan ventured to ask questions directly to Gilbert.

He wanted to know for sure the reason for the cancellation of the marriage which he had just heard this time, even he himself experienced. All is completely beyond Ivan's logic. He did not accept the fact that the marriage between him and Khaira was considered to have never existed, and it dropped his ego greatly.

While he himself still thinks that Khaira is his wife, and he feels happy because he has not had time to take care of the divorce because of busy caring for and seeking the healing of Bryan, which God finally wants another.

Edward looked at Ivan flatly, now he was lazy to comment after knowing the true story. He was only listening to the debate that was happening in front of him.

“Reason for marriage cancellation because my client is still married to another man. And according to the compilation of Islamic law it includes conditions that are allowed to annul the marriage, even if it is not done in question. Parents or sisters may cancel the marriage. Moreover, her ex-husband has had a child from another woman plus other evidence that makes it easier for us to win this case,” Gilbert said lightly.

“How can Mr Gilbert make sure that your client still has a husband. Was her husband the one who came to you and asked for this cancellation?”  Ivan did not believe the Khaira family had annulled his marriage and legalized marriage to the late Abbas. This is certainly an offense that cannot be considered trivial and can be prosecuted again for harassing various parties.

“Come lord Alexander, where there are holy men in this world. You think the judges who sit in the judiciary and hand down verdicts are sinless human beings?”  Gibert laughed dismissively at Ivan's comments which he did not accept with the case that had entangled him, “They are not angels created without sin.”

“All this is very unreasonable .... “ Ivan shook his head at Gilbert's defense.

“We as lawyers are in charge of protecting and defending our clients. Especially as a woman whose nature must be protected, pampered, and cared for. But what happened to our client, already lied, was left pregnant with a load in her womb for nine months without any support from her husband by her side.  Even he had to seclude himself to seek tranquility for the sake of the existing fetus in order to remain comfortable and healthy until the time of birth,” Gilbert said with a sigh in recalling the story of Khaira he heard from Ariq, “So what do you think is wrong what we have done for our clients?”

Ivan was silent at Gilbert's words. His eyes were foggy imagining all the distress that Khaira was experiencing, especially with two growing fetuses in his womb was certainly not easy, he said, he could not imagine how the days that Khaira went through during the pregnancy of his two children.

“I salute Mr. Ariq. He just wanted to protect his sister and nephew. My client also did not want her ex-husband to know she was pregnant, that's what Mr. Ariq told me.  They are capable and have great wealth. Money can control everything. Isn't that what's happening now?” Gilbert looked at Ivan sharply, “I conclude considering they firmly wanted the annulment of the marriage rather than divorce, there may be words of her ex-husband that make her feel her self-esteem is denigrated, until finally want to bury all the memories with the ex.”

Gilbert looked at Ivan with a glance. He could see several times Ivan clenched his fingers with a face nose difficult to guess.

Edward saw Ivan's face change.  He was both upset and saddened to hear all of Gilbert's stories in dealing with the problems that occurred between Ivan and Khaira. But he can't do anything. Although he always supported all of Ivan's decisions, but this time he was confused who to side with.  For sure the biggest mistake remained on Ivan's side.

Ivan fell silent not wanting to respond to Gilbert's words again.  All the mistakes rest on him. He was silent every regret was useless. He could imagine how Khaira had a pregnancy without her.

Gilbert's gaze fell on Ivan who was now bowed sadly with both hands holding his head. Ivan could not bear the tears of all that he had done to Khaira.

He cannot blame all the actions that Khaira's brother has done, because he had heard for himself the reason behind the actions that were a consequence of his behavior who preferred to trust women who were obviously not related to him than his own wife.

“I suspect .... “ Gilbert looked at him in full search.

“Your guess is right. I am the man,” Ivan said with great sadness.

“I'm so grateful for everything you've told me,” Ivan said softly uninspired, “You just call the account number, and how much I have to pay for all your time wasted on us.”

“I never ask for payment on people who are in trouble,” Gilbert feels that the sturdy man who is in front of him is not doing well, “I have to go now.”

“Thanks Gil.” Edward shook hands with Gilbert who soon passed from before the two.

Now the two are silent busy with their own minds. Ivan was still in dialogue with his inner self given the mistakes he had made over the past three years on his marriage and Khaira.

“I'm very disappointed for your wedding and Rara .... “ Edward immediately expressed his opinion, “Why can you get stuck with Claudia?” game

“I don't know,” Ivan gazed into the distance in an uninspired voice, “I think brother Rara won't act this far.”

“Money can control everything. Haven't you heard what Gilbert said?”

“I know.” Ivan answered quickly.

“Already, accept what happened. Maybe your soul mate is not to be with Rara and your children. Let Rara start her own happiness. Hopefully he soon finds a man who can trust him and is able to give happiness to him and his children and not easily fooled by the tricks of others.”

Ivan glared at Edward's heartfelt remarks to him. How could he let it all happen.

“You think I'll let another guy take over my position and take care of my kids?” Ivan looked at Edward sharply. He does not accept the words of his friend, “I will not let anyone take away what should be mine.”

“Hei, Bro! Have you forgotten what Gilbert said. There is no connection whatsoever that happens between you. It's all the past. All of this has been overturned by the religious court. So in the slightest you have no right to hold Rara and the children with you. Maybe it's time you let Rara” go

“I will fight like the beginning I got it,” Ivan's voice finally weakened, “I won't be tired until all can return like at the beginning.”

“Are you sure this time will have the support of brother Rara?”

“I will fend for myself to get his heart back,” a faint smile rises on Ivan's face remembering the initial plan he had put together to fall apart after hearing Gilbert's story.

Now he must think hard to execute plan B carefully so that it can be implemented perfectly.

“I saw an optimistic look on your face,” Edward saw the sadness on Ivan's face gradually disappear, “You already have plan B for the next step?’

“I don't need to explain in detail to you,” Ivan is now smiling mysteriously, “Si twins will be the starting weapon for me to start over with Rara.”

“Hopefully everything you want can go easily. I will always support with all the mistakes you have made,” Edward said while insinuating him, “Now it is 12 pm, I want to go back to the room.”

Ivan nodded, he felt tired of heart and mind after living a day full of drama and pain. He hopes tomorrow will be better.

In his long prostration Ivan begged the heart-repellent to open the door to Khaira's forgiveness for him. He could not be far from the woman he had so longed for, even giving her a pair of priceless gems.

"What's in your heart, baby? How long are you going to torture me like this? Let me treat all the wounds that have ever existed and replace them with happiness for the twins who have been among us ..."

Ivan closed the night complaining of all the troubles and grief he felt and so severely tortured him that he was unable to raise his face before the Khaira family.  But for the sake of the twins, he will try to do his best.  And he promised himself that this time he would not give any chance to anyone who would ruin the plans he was going to devise from tonight.
