The Desired Angel of Heaven

The Desired Angel of Heaven
Chapter 27

The voices of children and some adults were heard stopping the silence between the two. From a distance Adi saw a group walking towards them. The mother and daughter rooms are on the same floor. He was transfixed to see Marisa, Darmawan, the twins, as well as Gigi and Fery.

“Jeng Linda..” Marisa stopped her steps seeing the pensive Linda still thinking about her daughter-in-law's fate.

Linda raised her face. His gaze was shifted to Ariq and Ali who Darmawan took with him. Both are getting bigger and very handsome.

“Who is sick?” Marisa again surprised her daydream, and walked over to Linda who was still fixated on staring at the twins. “Why are you here, who is sick?”

“Helen.” Linda finally realized as soon as Marisa repeated her question. His eyes are now back on the twins who pulled Darmawan's hand.

“Opa, let's take a look at Dedek. I miss dedek opa..” Ariq keeps pulling Darmawan's hand. He did not care about the sad look of Linda who looked at him and Ali.

Darmawan looked at his wife, “I go first with the twins. Please guys chat first.” He smiled at Adi and Linda.

“Please, om.” Adi nodded his head as he glanced at Ariq and Ali who passed from before him. The pain returned to his chest. His misty eyes held back the tears that wanted to slide held back the longing. His twin son was so close, but he could not touch him.

“Can I see your son-in-law, jeng?” Marisa tries to show her empathy to Linda, because she does not know the problems that are happening.

“I'm sorry, Jeng. My son-in-law wants to be alone. She had another miscarriage.” Linda finally told Helen the true situation. Despite the fact there is actually the worst fact that will be a secret that he will keep forever. He is embarrassed if Marisa knows the condition of her daughter-in-law pride.

“Innalillahi wainnailaihi roji’un. I'm so sorry. Hopefully quickly can be replaced yes.” Marisa trying to cheer the heart of her best friend.

“You yourself why are you in this hospital?” finally Linda could not resist her curiosity because she saw Marisa coming with a group.

“Dede Sasha high fever, also hospitalized here. The twins could not bear to see the dede. Therefore, after school, it has been picked up as much as possible to leave directly here.” Marisa told me the circumstances that happened.

Linda was full of hearing Marisa's words. The pain and disappointment that had been present because of Helen's condition now disappeared just like seeing Marisa and her two grandchildren who had never been admitted.

“I'm sorry, Jeng.” Marisa pleads because she can't wait to know the development of the little one.

Linda held back Marisa's steps, “Can I see her with you?” Linda asked expectantly.

“Good.” Marisa assented Linda's request.

“Mama wants to join aunt Marisa. Do you want to stay here?” Linda looked at Adi carefully, because she saw Adi who was still pensive looking at the floor.

Adi turned her eyes to Linda, “I'll be back in Helen's room. I'll catch up with mama.”

Linda nodded and immediately went hand in hand with Marisa. A thumping feeling enveloped Linda. He didn't know what was going on with his heart. He did not think about what he would say when he met his former daughter-in-law and grandchildren later, all he wanted now was to see the faces of his three grandchildren.

“Wa’alaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.” The ones in the room answered their greetings compactly.

“Dede dear, what hurts?” Marisa stroked Hasya's hair gently as she stood by Hasya's bedside.

“Tatit swamp, oma?” holding her head made Marisa feel resplendent and immediately kissed her forehead. “Dede smell, beyum bath oma..”.

“Goodies of the most fragrant oma.” Marisa immediately kissed Hasya's left and right cheeks in turn. The smell of egg oil and baby powder made her feel calm.  Marisa's tears trickled down watching the infusion needle implanted in the little guy's hand. He gently rubbed the plump fingers that are now embedded in the infusion needle there.

Linda looked at the scene with a trembling chest. Feelings raging. His desire to touch Hasya can not he fight, “What can you kiss dear?” without thinking of the shame, he asked expectantly.

Hani does not expect Linda to do so, but she cannot resist Linda's wishes, however much Linda's blood flows to her child. Hani looked at Hasya who seemed silent unmoved.

“Dede dear, eye want kiss dede, what can?” Hani looked at Hasya while stroking her cheek which remained chubby.

“Boyeh, eyang..” Hasya's voice is so adorable.

With feelings that are difficult to describe, Linda was finally able to touch the granddaughter that she had once rejected. Her tears instantly burst out as her lips began to kiss Hasya's forehead and kiss the tip of her head for a moment, closing her eyes. The smell of the baby immediately filled his nose.

“What is crying?” Hasya looked at Linda with her clear eyes. He was surprised to see his friend shed tears.

Marisa stroked Hasya's hair, “E who just lost her granddaughter, So we're sorry for the accident. Hopefully Eyang soon gets a replacement for his grandson again.”.

Hani was shocked to hear Marisa's words. During this time he did close access to the life of Adi and her new family.  He did not want to know the life of his ex. Hani thinks that Helen is pregnant with a second child. Whether it had been how many years their first child was, it must have been younger than Hasya, that was what Hani had in mind now.

“Your daughter is very beautiful, Hani..” Linda's speech sounds sincere in Hani's ears. He looked at his ex-daughter-in-law closely. The daughter-in-law he had refused all along. But he realized, since the departure of Hani and the children from the house, there was no more warmth and laughter of the voices of the twins, which made the atmosphere of the house more cheerful. Helen's rude attitude and never appreciated her as in-laws made Linda quite tormented. But because of his own selfishness, he tried to understand the character of Helen who is now a boomerang in his child's household.

Just this time Hani heard her father-in-law's voice say sweet to her. During their stay, Linda spoke to him only like a babu in their magnificent home. No one defended Hani, because her father-in-law was very rarely at home, as well as her husband who was preoccupied with corporate affairs, never been beside her, let alone helping her take care of the twins. Hani is only considered a child printing machine.

“His face is very similar to his father.” Linda speaks softly, but quite audible in the ears of Marisa and Hani.

“Of course, Jeng. My grandson looks like a neighbor. Yok, we join on the sofa.” Marisa trying to divert Linda's conversation. Seeing Linda's behavior and the words she just heard, Marisa believes her best friend is starting to plan something.
