Chapter 4. The Kingdom of Kano: Back and Robert's Dream

Sayn brought Eva into her palace. And he also recounted the events inside the palace. That short and skinny boy that Eva saw in the palace was a wooden doll that was remodeled into a human. Sayn used ancient magic. The reason he did this was because he did not want to attend such a troublesome palace meeting.
Sayn also took Eva somewhere on the top floor. At that place Eva saw a beautiful view of the meadow. And there was one striking tree in the middle. The huge tree was glowing and surrounded by fireflies. Eva was fascinated by the tree.
Sayn pulled something from the tree with magic. Something shaped like a tree. Sayn forms her into a crown and gives the item to Eva. Sayn says it can protect her from mind magic.

It's getting night. About the boys coming home from the streets yet huh? Is Robert done with his business?
"Will you come back?" reprimanding Sayn when she saw the little girl in front of her was daydreaming.
"Hem" I nodded.
"I'll drive you"
"Eh? No need" I refused directly. "If you're out, what if someone sees?" I said not happy. I don't want to be discovered by others that I snuck into the prince's palace.
"You doubt my abilities?" sayn was upset. "I can take you without anyone knowing"
"No need" I refused again. "I'll go home by myself. Bye" I instantly used teleportation magic to move to the front of the inn courtyard. It's pretty easy okay. He didn't have to make it complicated by driving me all along.
"...." - ".Sayn was still silent in place as Eva disappeared suddenly. "Difficult.." murmured while frowning in frustration. "Do I need to be more aggressive?"

I've arrived at the front yard of the inn. I tried to use wind magic and detection magic to detect my surroundings.
"Same on. It looks like the boys haven't come home yet" Because I don't feel anyone's whereabouts.

"Where are you ?" a voice I knew echoed in my ears. And I saw Robert in front of me! The man was sitting casually on the edge of the bed crossing his legs.

"Oh?" Robert raised his eyebrows. "Walk around.you don't sneak into weird places, do you?"

The deg! I flinched again. "Master, can you see it?!" I said in a panic while groping my head. I didn't even feel the tree in my head. Robert saw it easily.
"Don't wear anything weird on your body" Robert said unhappily as he tried to remove the crown from Eva's head.
"Aah!" I flinched because Robert suddenly held my head. "Don't master. This isn't some weird thing. It's a magic item that can prevent mind magic. Sayn gave this to me"
"Sayn?" Robert scrunched his forehead. "You sneaked into the prince's palace?".
"...." I was silent. I accidentally said it without thinking.
"Sorry master..."
"That mad prince told you to?"
"...." - ".I blinked my eyes confused.
"He really asked you to meet him?"
"...." I'm still confused. How could Robert think that Sayn told me to come? I took my own initiative to explore....
"No master...."
"Next time don't agree. How can those boys stick to you like glue. It's really draining my energy to get rid of them."

Robert doesn't care. He stretched his body while yawning. "I'll keep an eye on you so you don't run away tonight."
Puk! Puk! Robert patted the side of the bed beside him. "Come here"
I don't know what got into my body, I reflexively obeyed Robert's words and crawled to the bed.
Seeing the little girl approach him, Robert immediately carried her in his arms. "Truly obedient like a little dog" Robert said as he patted Eva on the head.
"Master, what have you been doing for the past few days?" manya curious.
"Only the general mission of the principal. He sent me to Kano country as an envoy for this student exchange program."

"Already.ayo sleep. It's late."

Slowly the two men began to fall asleep. And this time Robert got into another strange dream caused by the girl's dark magic.

Robert knows this place. Now he is in the kingdom of Kano. He saw the scene in front of him. There was a brown haired little girl standing in the middle of the hall.
"His face is very familiar.where I've seen it.." thought Robert. "ah! He's one of the students I brought. The famous user of the light element, Reina!"
Robert's confused. Why could he dream about Reina? Is it because Eva's dark magic is acting again? What exactly is going on? Robert was still confused about where this strange dream came from. More precisely he was curious. How could the little girl dream like this. What cause? The girl's delusion was completely unexpected and beyond reason.
Robert saw Reina in the middle of the hall. He did not know what they were talking about because the scene instantly changed.
Reina was greeted kindly by the king and was given the best guest room in the kingdom. The scene changed again. This time it was a scene of Reina and a man who met by chance.
"This man is no stranger.then why do I want to hit him.." murmured Robert. "ah! Worth it! This is another goddamn prince!"
The scene changed again. This time Reina was inside Sayn's palace. They chatted familiarly.
The scene changed again. The girl named Reina returned to the Kingdom of Well.
The next scene was no girl named Reina. But only Prince Sayn and his brothers. This scene was a scene of a coup by Sayn and the organization she belonged to. Sayn is currently killing all of her family members and ascending the throne.
Robert gawked at the events before him. He's quite surprised. What is this incident? He never imagined he would see the royal family murder. And he did not know it turned out that the prince Sayn who was notoriously weak since childhood would be this cruel. All of this was completely beyond his expectations.
Then the scene changed again into a war between the two countries. Robert even saw himself standing in the middle of a battle and cast a spell.

"What the hell is going on?" How could this be connected to the strange dream earlier when he was plunged into war?
This dream is not about him. But about someone else. How can he dream about the lives of others?
The dream ended and Robert woke up. As he opened his eyes, he looked at the little girl in his arms still asleep. And he saw the strands of dark mana enveloping the girl and moving like worms
"It's really because of this dark magic huh?" robert muttered.
Robert was still confused by the dream he had. He thought of it as a hallucinatory story that this little girl had thought of. But there's one weird one. A girl named Reina always appears in this dream. He remembered that he himself in a dream also liked this girl named Reina.
What happened to Reina? He knew Eva and Reina's relationship was bad enough. It could be that he dislikes Reina and dreams of strange things about her. But what does this Reina have to do with her? How could the girl make herself in a dream like Reina? He was really imagining something stupid...
"She's a stupid girl..."
Robert tried not to respond to the dream he had. He believes this is just Eva's delusion and the two intend to forget her.
