Chapter 6 Diana (Final 3)
Emerta took Diana somewhere. Diana did not know where she was. But right now they are in a closed room.
Emerta looked at her only daughter.
"So what happened? Explain everything" he said in a sharp tone.
Diana looked down sad with a sullen face. Then he told me everything.
She tells how she met Enell and her cousins when they were kids. Then tell me how their meeting could now happen. As well as telling her everything she experienced while living in the man's mansion.
Diana told me everything happily. It was as if he was digging up a very precious memory inside his head. Even he occasionally laughed as he recalled some funny things that happened.
But Emerta's expression was still flat. He heard his daughter's story seriously. Then his expression grew colder and colder.
It took almost an hour for Diana to tell all her stories. When Diana finished, Emerta opened her mouth. "So did you choose your mother or that man?" said cold.
Diana nodded in disbelief. This is a very difficult question for him. "What do you mean mom? I can't choose any of you. You guys are different people. You are my mother. Enell is my best friend. You two are very important"
"Seeing you're so eager to follow the stranger, you want to leave me?" Emerta.
"No!" Diana denied it directly. "I want to stay with my mom!"
Emerta. "Then leave him. And come with me back to the elf palace" he ordered.
"..."
Diana remained silent. She bit her lips to suppress her sadness. Then he nodded slowly.
Emerta immediately brought him back to the elf palace. Ren gave Emerta a special room. He treated her well.
Ren was also there to welcome the arrival of the mother and child.
"You've come back and really brought it?" Ren raised his eyebrows in disbelief.
Normally, Diana would welcome Ren by hugging him and acting spoiled to him. But he didn't do it this time because his mood wasn't good at all.
"I want to rest.." she muttered sadly while lowering her head.
Emerta immediately took Diana to her room.The two women passed by Ren as if he was just the wind.
Ren's face pouted. "They have really treated my palace as their home" he said. But he did not do anything for the mother and child. He simply looked at them with a sharp glare before returning to his room again.
Emerta escorted Diana to her room. The room given by Ren was large enough that it could be occupied by two people.
"I'll continue my research. Rest" Emerta said. He gave his daughter time to breathe out of all these problems. After that he went back to his lab.
After her mother left, Diana jumped on the bed and buried her face deeply. He felt he had lost the most important person in his life. But isn't her mother the most important? And they're living together now. So why is she feeling so sad?
"What am I supposed to do? Why am I so sad? He's really important. But my mom is important too. If you choose one, it's..." Diana still couldn't decide. His head was filled with many questions and sadness.
A few hours later, Emerta returned from her lab. He headed to the room to see if the girl had fallen asleep or not.
By the time she arrived, Diana was already asleep. But there is something strange about his condition. The girl was still crying while crying.
"Don't leave me..." Diana said softly with tears streaming down her cheeks.
Emerta went straight to him and stiffened his hand. "Mother is here." she muttered as she stroked Diana's hair.
Diana slowly calmed down.
"Enell.." he muttered softly before returning to calm.
"..."
Emerta jerks. He looked at Diana while frowning sadly. He thought long enough. Then he rushed to see Ren. Like he's planning something.
"Have you decided?" Ren asked, as if he already knew something.
"I'll be a researcher in your lab" Emerta made the decision.
Ren looked at her. "Are you sure? What about your daughter? You're really not gonna wander anymore?"
"I'll send him back to the man. I can't lock him up in the lab. She seemed to be more alive with the child" Diana said regretfully.
Ren took something out of his dimension space. "Take this key. From now on you're the owner of that lab. I'll leave that place for a while, too. I have business to do"
Emerta was shocked. "You're going? Is that a long time?" He did not believe that Ren would give the laboratory so easily to him.
Diana nodded again. She did not expect Ren to be gone that long. When Ren returns she will become an old woman. But Emerta agreed to it without a fight.
He went back to his room to see Diana. He took Diana to a place with a transportation circle. Diana was fast asleep and did not know what was happening because her body was being flown.

Enell was currently pensive at her desk. His head was so full of all sorts of thoughts that he thought his head would break.
First, he wanted to find Diana but did not know where the girl was. At first, she was convinced that Diana would return. But that belief faded away with the appearance of all sorts of doubts in his heart. So that makes her anxious. He needs to be on his guard to look for her if she doesn't come back. But the thing is that the girl and her mother are wanderers. It will be hard to find them.
Second, it was a matter of murder. He killed countless elders from the Court family faction, his own family. So that the Nobles of the Court faction were extremely hostile to him right now. Fifi's surviving father even reported to his son and the king. So he received a call to go to the palace tomorrow.
Enell had no idea what the present king would do to her.
SWOOSH!
Suddenly two figures suddenly appeared before his eyes.
Enell was shocked. The two men appeared all too suddenly.
"You?" Enell blinked in disbelief. It was Diana and her mother. They hadn't even left for a few hours, but had already returned this fast.
More importantly, they suddenly appeared in his room! Enell was confused as to how they did it!
"Bring Him in" Emerta put Diana who floated slowly into Enell's lap.
"I'll entrust him to you. But if you hurt her, I'll come back to get your head" she said cynically.
Then he waved his robe and disappeared from before Enell's eyes in an instant. Enell still could not believe what was happening before her eyes.
There are so many questions. But he forgot everything when he saw Diana's sleeping face.
Enell touched the girl's soft cheeks. Then his eyes turned full of determination. It was as if he had decided something.
The next morning, Diana woke up. He opened his eyes and felt that the ceiling of his room looked very familiar.
"You awake?" that familiar voice also sounded in his ears.
Diana's eyes opened wide. "Enell?" The girl blinked in disbelief and then got up from the bed and hugged the man.
"What's going on? Aren't I with mom?" Diana frowned confusedly.
"Your mother brought you here?"
"Ehh?" Diana shouted in disbelief. "When? He just took me to the elf palace last night"
"This morning" Enell replied flatly. He did not care about the girl's confusion. She stroked Diana's hair and continued to stare at her melancholy. "I have business this morning. Rest back if you're still sleepy. Or I could have the waiter make you breakfast"
"no need. I will relax in a moment" Diana said as she threw herself on the bed again.
"See you later" Enell slowly walked out and closed the door. After making it out of the room, Enell breathed a sigh of relief. She was grateful that the girl did not make a sad face and cried. If that happens, Enell will be overwhelmed by it.
While on the other hand, Diana was daydreaming while staring at the ceiling of the room. Diana was confused as to why her mother had suddenly left her again without saying anything.
Then he felt something strange on his shirt and found a letter tucked away. Diana opened.
It was a letter from his mother. The mother said she would free him and let him live with the man she loved. Then the mother also said that she would continue her research in the elf palace. So if anything happens, he can call her. Especially if the man did something cruel to her. The mother will come and kill him.
Diana read the letter with teary eyes. When he finished reading everything, a cry broke out. Diana placed the letter on her chest as she continued to cry sobbing. "Thank you mom..."
Such is the story of both of their lives. After that, Enell will make an important decision. The decision was his punishment for killing many Nobles.
Actually the king did not want to punish him. They are like brothers after all. Moreover, the people killed by Enell were enemies of his family. Of course he was benefited because of it.
But he could not resist the decisions of the other nobles. The royal family faction took advantage of this opportunity to suppress Enell's power in order for the man not to gain even greater popularity. And endanger their faction.
Enell was moved from the capital to a small town. This is actually Enell's hometown. He also lived here when he was young. When the conflict between the old royal family and the new kingdom occurred. Now he only returned to his hometown after making his name big in the capital. Enell had absolutely no problem about this.
Although Enell's title as duke was not demoted, his power in the capital waned. As time went by the people in the capital forgot about his presence. Some of them have also heard rumors about it.
That was when bad rumors about Enell spread in the capital. At first he was adored by the people because he was a war general. But now some people are starting to doubt him because he killed people. They even dubbed themselves as cold-blooded and ruthless. Although Enell did not care about the rumors at all.
While the king and queen began planning to make an engagement between their son and the son of Enell. It happens when their child has a different gender. The king did this for two reasons. First he wanted to atone for his guilt of not being able to prevent Enell from leaving the capital. Second, he wanted to prevent a conflict between the two factions from occurring.
