Chapter 5. Magic Match: First Round 2
Previous Story:
Finally the first round of magic match began. They were all moved into dimensional space.
Eva's group is stationed in the Northern woods. And they had to head south to get the Crystal ball. They had to pass through rivers and swamps to get to that place.
Their journey begins. They used wind magic to speed up their steps. But a bad incident happened in the middle of the journey. Two other people who were already exhausted were left behind and were surrounded by a group of magic beasts.
Even though Eva managed to defeat the entire magical beast easily, still the two people ended up being scarred and their life points were reduced.

Charlotte approaches Jean and Hans. Then he began to use his power to heal the two people.
In just a few minutes, their wounds had already healed. Although their stamina is still reduced due to using magic excessively. Fortunately they brought a lot of potions to keep their stamina awake. They had to wait until night to be able to rest and recharge their stamina.
"Show me the rest of your points" said Robert.
The two people nodded, then a transparent panel appeared in front of them.

It looks like the attack was really fatal. Their points were reduced a lot, especially Hans.
"Other times, if you feel tired, tell us immediately. At least we won't leave you guys behind" I felt furious because their points were missing too much. Inevitably I reflexively lectured them for being careless.
I thought they would argue with me, give me a sneer, or a mocking look. But it didn't happen! The two lowered their heads in regret. Their attitude was enough to make me feel surprised.

"I won't do it!" I said while looking at Robert intently.
Robert just smiled a little. He stroked the little girl's head again.
"You really are big. Usually you'll be spoiled to me. But now you dare to refute me Hahaha..."
"I didn't mean to behave like that masta.." I said regretfully.
"It's okay. L like it. From now on I will continue to bother you" replied Robert happily.

Their journey continued. This time they continued to use the help of the wind magician. But those wind magicians can only use their magic for thirty minutes. After that they would walk normally for an hour, before speeding up their steps again.
In the midst of the journey, they found several level 2 and 3 magical beasts.
Jean and Hans slaughtered the entire magical beast. They want to take revenge for what happened before. They would not let their guard down any longer and let the magical beasts injure them.
While Robert, Charlo and I were just looking back, I wanted to intervene, but Jean and Hans stopped me.
I think they still underestimated my strength. But it turns out that's not true!
"You must save your strength! For these little animals let us face them"
I can only shake in surprise. Their attitude changed. They are speaking politely to me now.
I can only reply to them with a sweet smile. "Thank you~"

They found a cave large enough as a resting place.
"We'll keep watch in turn" Robert suggested. So the formation of a team to guard began.
Eva, Robert, and Charlotte will go to bed first. While Jean and Hans will be on their guard.
After four hours have passed, they will change their guard.
"Robert...." Charlotte muttered weakly. He wanted to suggest that Robert sleep in the middle so that they would be safer. But Charlotte has her own plans. He still hasn't given up on Robert! He still wanted to lure and chase after her!
But at the sight of Robert's eyes only focused on Eva and never paid any attention to her at all. Charlotte felt her heart shrink. And he did not dare to move forward. He felt defeated and inferior, even though in his little heart he was unwilling to give up.
"What?" Robert returned.
"It's okay..." Charlotte eventually withdrew and did not dare to go forward.
Robert arranged his sleeping position. He deliberately arranged for Eva to sleep next to him. Charlotte is sleeping next to Eva.
After seeing a position that was quite favorable to him, Robert smiled in satisfaction. He immediately stretched himself out and opened both of his hands.
"My little girl's here. I'll warm you up"
