CHAPTER 7 GIVING UP

Eva quickly approached the pierced Diana. He used light magic to heal the injured Diana. But the Marquis's blade contained poison and caused Eva's light magic to malfunction as the poison had already spread throughout Diana's body. Eva was almost desperate, but she suddenly remembered the potion she had obtained in the ancient ruins. Eva uses the potion and Diana gets better slowly. Sayn and Eva want to leave the kingdom, but Denis gets in their way. Eva and Denis had a conversation and Eva's words caused Denis to be surprised, in disbelief.

Denis and Eva looked at each other. Denis froze for a moment before finally regaining consciousness. He felt both upset and sad when he heard Eva's words.
Seeing Denis ignoring her, Eva took a deep breath and exhaled. "I really don't want to get engaged or get in touch with this kingdom anymore" he said.
"Why are you hiding your light magic?" Denis arranged his composure and suddenly changed the subject.
Eva did not answer and Denis continued. "Your mother is a dark witch so there's no way her descendants can use light magic. You're not his daughter?"
Eva was annoyed and said in a sharp tone. "Please mouth"
"I still can't let Madam Diana leave this place. She's a dark witch. And he's a suspect in the king's murder" he's a little sad when he talks about his father's death. "I can let you go but not with a suspect" he said. He would never let the perpetrator who had killed his father escape. And he has to find out the truth about what happened.
"We're going. From now on my family and I have nothing to do with this kingdom anymore" he said determinedly. From the beginning his bad luck happened because he stayed in this kingdom and now is the right time to go.
Denis's eyes narrowed. "I told you guys I wouldn't let you go, would I?"
Then everyone started to surround Eva, Diana and Sayn.
"Capture and don't hurt them" Denis ordered briefly.
"Daughter, don't fight. Just obey and live according to the rules of the kingdom. If Madam Diana is innocent, she will be released" Jean said. She still sees Eva as her own best friend and she is a little sad to see the events in front of her. But Eva was already determined to escape and she would not give up.
About thirty witches surrounded Sayn and they started fighting fiercely in the middle of the hall.
Eva was still holding Diana while surrounded by everyone and Denis was still standing before her eyes.
"Rush" Denis said coldly.
Eva looked at him sharply and did not move from his place.
Denis told some people to arrest Eva. But Eva directly used her wind magic. Before the two people touched his arm, they bounced back.
"You're really still stubborn!" this time Denis came forward to hold his arm.
Eva used the same magic, but it had no effect against Denis. And the man managed to hold her hand and bring her closer. Leaving Diana lying unconscious in their midst.
"Give up or I'll catch you by force" Denis brought his face closer to Eva while clutching his arm firmly.
"I said no!" TUBS! Eva prepares to step on Denis's foot. But Denis dodged quickly so his kick hit the floor. There was a crack mark appearing on the floor signifying that the force of his kick was quite strong.
Because of the incident, Denis' grip weakened. Eva used the opportunity to grab her little dagger and point it towards Denis hand holding her arm.
Denis dodged quickly. If he doesn't make it in time his hands will break. He could even see the cut on the back of his hand.
Eva jumps back and points her dagger at Denis. "I will fight you then" he said in a bitter tone.
