Chapter 7 The Visit of the King's Disrespect

Marquis Zent who saw that burned with anger. "Basar did not.." he almost cursed because of the lowly soldier's disrespect to the King.
But the King immediately stopped him quickly and said. "All right, I'll wait".
Actually if the King visits normally, the soldier will let him in. But the King visited with such a huge aura of provocation that the gatekeepers reflexively blocked his entry.
"Bas rude!" Marquis Zent muttered little. But the king just smiled.
The little soldier entered the mansion to report the King's visit to the Duke. The Duke stood firm while looking at the window, watching the King's entourage from the window. He already knew of their very conspicuous arrival. And the Duke still did not understand why the King did something like this.
But, bringing so many people in his residence was a very disrespectful thing. And again he would never let strangers step on his lawn, even though they were followers of the King. So the Duke only allowed the King and Marquis Zent to enter his mansion. The king accepted the decision and they met.
The three people were in the same place and a silent atmosphere enveloped the entire room. The Duke first made a sound and said "Why are you here?" without the honorary title.
Marquis Zent clenched his hands to stifle his sense of regret.
The king sighed. He looked at the Duke seriously before finally explaining the purpose of his arrival.
When he finished hearing the King's explanation, the Duke's eyes widened in shock. "so you suspect me now?" he unconsciously raised his voice in anger.
"It's not so Enell" the King shook his head miserably "But I have to do it. You know that those dark witches want to destroy this world, right? They are the worst creatures. And I really have to exterminate the spies that infiltrated our country" the King looked at the Duke seriously.
"It doesn't make sense!" Duke denied.
"Omong empty!" The Duke shouted again with reddened eyes. He's holding his anger.
It doesn't make any sense to him at all. How could they think of Diana as a demon who wanted to kill her. Although Diana was a dark witch, she never committed any crimes. He did not even dare to kill an ant. Diana was the kindest and most gentle woman he had ever known. There was no way he would let his beloved person be killed like that. He would never let them harm Diana.
"Where did you get any information that there was a spy in my residence?" The Duke directed his gaze towards Marquis Zent with a killing aura coming out from his body.
"Don't you think the information you got was wrong? And the informer just wants to destroy our relationship"
The king coughed small. "I know that you don't believe. But the information I got here is valid" he said confidently. The king would never tell anyone that he got this information from Marquis Zent. He was protecting witnesses.
"Enell, I'm really begging for your cooperation. The news that there was a dark witch in the Duke's residence had already spread. Akh had to validate it to appease the population"
"You said you just wanted to check everyone out, right?" The duke asked again. He made sure that everyone was checked. But she and Diana did not need to do that because they were nobles.
"True" the King answered quickly.
"You won't doubt the nobility, will you?" The Duke made sure again.
"I never doubted the blood of the nobles. I just want to check on the intruders who are among the nobles" said the King.
After thinking, the Duke agreed. She thought she and Diana would not be touched. As long as they didn't do anything to Diana, she wouldn't mind.
The king smiled sincerely. "Thank you"
The king also ordered some witches to enter. Then all the soldiers and servants gathered together to check which one was using their blood. This happened quickly because there were not many people in that place.
Diana had already walked out of her room while hugging Evan in her chest. He's approaching Duke. The duke immediately grabbed him and took him by his side to witness all the situations. The Duke stroked his wife's head and said gently "Everything will be fine"
"Mr..." Diana answered softly.
"You're done, aren't you? Please come out" the Duke said directly as he saw that everyone had already checked.
"No" said the King.
The Duke frowned. "Whatchu mean? There are only these people in this place. The rest of my servants are in the main mansion" the Duke said.
The Duke looked at the King with a sharp gaze. "You promised you wouldn't touch nobility" He gritted his teeth.
"I wouldn't. I'm not gonna touch you"
"Then, scram!" Duke really did not like the existence of these people in his mansion.
"Did you forget Enell? Only you are a noble in this place" Marquis Zent suddenly opened his voice. He pointed to Diana who was beside the Duke. "We haven't checked the woman. He has no royal blood. We want to check this last guy out"
Without further ado, the Duke immediately pulled out his sword.
