Chapter 5 Magic Match: First Round 9
Previous story:
They're crossing the swamp. But after a long time passing through the swamp, they found no way out at all.
Robert felt something strange and checked it out.
Charlotte and Eva are left behind, to wait until Robert's team returns.
Charlotte went away for a second somewhere. Eva scuffed something suspicious that bothered her and it was just a bird egg with a golden shell.
When Robert returned, he said that they were trapped in a seal, so they would not be able to see the way out.

"Are you sure we're really stuck?" charlotte was not sure.
"Yes" Hans replied directly.
"We just walked forward, and came back to this place after a few minutes" Jean continued. "We didn't do anything. Our journey has not evolved at all. We are trapped."
"So what should we do now? Looking for the source of the magic?" many confused.
"Yes. We have to find the magic circle." Robert explained. "They put up a barrier, we need to find that barrier and destroy it."
"Did you guys see anything weird when we crossed this place? Like magic circles and stuff?" ask Robert.
I saw nothing but that golden egg. I believe that golden egg is just an egg from a magical beast. It can't possibly have anything to do with the magic formation trapping us.
"Do we need to split up into groups and spread out? That way our search will be faster" I suggested.
"It's too dangerous for us to spread out now that we're surrounded by so many unknown enemies" Charlotte immediately denied my suggestion. "We better look for more specific clues. After all we can use magic tools to find the magic circle that traps us"
Charlotte took out a small white twig. "My teacher gave this to me. I can search for traces of magic with this tool. And it gets easier because I have the earth element. But the flaws I can only detect if the magic circle is on the ground. The waters and sky are beyond my reach" Charlotte said.
We all just nodded in agreement. At least our search will be easier with this tool.

We split up and started looking for a magic circle.

"We found a magic circle that keeps us trapped" Robert replied as he pointed at the magic circle.
Charlotte immediately approached and observed the magic circle. Then she turned to look at Eva with a suspicious look.
"Do you have anything to do with this?" ask her in a full-fledged tone.
Charlotte felt suspicious because Eva had previously traveled alone in this place, just like her.
"Eh? I don't know anything about this. Earlier I saw a golden light and was interested in investigating it. It turned out that it was just an egg from a magic beast. I also saw this tree and felt strange. But I really don't know this is the source" I tried to explain it to them.
