Chapter 6 Loneliness

Ren shows Eva his new invention. It was a magic tool that was in the shape of a gun.
Eva enthusiastically accepted the magic tool and tried it. And the results are very impressive. Eva liked it very much. Then it turns out Ren gave the magic gun to her. It makes her more flowery.
But Ren said that it was only the first experiment and had many shortcomings. She therefore uses Eva to test all her flaws. Hearing that, Eva's face immediately turned sullen in an instant.

"What?" Ren said casually, while playing his finger.

"My mom." I answered nervously.

"I don't know your mother" Ren replied later.

"You really don't recognize my mother? Diana's? Do you really not recognize her at all? That doesn't make any sense!" I asked him a lot of questions.
Ren rolled his eyes, thinking. He also scrunched his forehead. Then his eyes suddenly widened.
"Diana? That little girl?"
"Yes, yes, yes" I nodded enthusiastically.
"You're the Princess?" this time he nodded in surprise.
"You don't know at all?" I also nodded in surprise.
Who would have thought he didn't know me at all! Didn't he just meet my mother recently? Are my mom and grandma really that easy to forget?
Ren's face suddenly turned melancholic and he smiled sadly. "I don't want to forget it. But I've met too many humans for thousands of years. And they died quickly. So I decided not to remember them too much because they would disappear one day. I don't even remember the humans in my castle, the servants and even the humans in this place" as he said, his eyes looked very lonely. "But at least I remember a little bit of little memory of Diana."
Ren had it a longer lifespan than ordinary elves. He has met many people in his life. But the man was short-lived. They would age and leave this world quickly. Ren felt a great sadness when that happened. When people who are important to him leave him. So he made a decision in his heart. He would not remember them and just think of them as the wind. I subconsciously gawk at Ren's extremely lonely eyes. Reflex, I raised my right hand and PUK, started stroking his head.

Ren's eyes widened. He looked at the little girl in front of him with an enchanted look. Then he subconsciously smiled slightly with flushed cheeks.
"Thank you..."
The originally cold atmosphere suddenly turned extremely warm.
A few seconds later I woke up. I quickly pulled my hand back.
What have I done? How could I be so disrespectful and touch an old man's head like that? I just hope Ren really doesn't add to his hate list for being too brave like that...
