Chapter 6 Return to the Academy

"Marquis really doesn't consider yourself to be his son now?" I said in disbelief.
Vivian nodded weakly. "I wanted to get out of that family. But I didn't expect this sick man to see him throw me out. He's still my parents anyway"
"Don't be sad" I comforted her while patting her on the back.
"I won't be anymore. This will be the last one" he said.
I continued to calm Vivian down until the girl stopped crying. As she calmed down I told her some funny experiences that I had to make her laugh. And it turned out to be effective. Slowly the girl started to smile.
"There's something I want to give you" I said as I took out two artifacts and a magic weapon from my dimension.
The artifacts I gave her were ring artifacts and small necklaces. And a small knife-shaped magic weapon.
The ring could cast a protective shield and the necklace had an emergency teleportation spell when its user was in danger. Very useful to use in desperate situations.
While the small blade was also not an ordinary item. It was a blade with poison runes. I purposely gave it to her because I knew Vivian's attack magic was very weak.
"It's okay. I have a lot of artifacts like this. It's a gift" I insisted.
After trying to persuade her a few times, Vivian finally accepted the gift I gave her.
