Chapter 5 Magic Games: Magic City 10

Eva and the two strangers decided to wait until nightfall, before they finally returned to the Magic City. They filled that time by talking about their own life stories. Unknowingly Eva begins to dissolve into their adventure story.
The night falls, they decide to return with a teleportation circle. But strange things happen. They should have teleported to their inn in the Magic City, but in fact they teleported in a foreign place.
While on the other side, the deans from the Magic Tower had already arrived in the Magic City. This was because Dean Wason was very worried when he heard Robert's report. Then they all decided to split up and look for Eva tonight.

Four black-robed people gathered with each other in a wooden house. They surrounded the table occasionally sipping the liquor that was in front of them.
"How could you two be so stupid? She's just a little girl, but you can't catch her!" shouted one of them while stomping the bottle of drink on the table.
"Curtain! It's not my fault at all. Some helped her secretly and used cunning means to distract us" she defended.
"It's your fault! Still, the person who helped him was also just a boy. You know kids will always hang out with kids. Stupidhead! We've lived a century, but your brain is really stupid!"
"Whatchu mean? Stop saying I'm stupid! You're the stupid one!"

At last two of them were fighting each other like children. To upset the other two.
"Enough you two!"
The two men finally stopped fighting.
"Can you stop fighting like a child. We have to think of a way to take that thing!"
"We need to find him now. It would be even more difficult if they had already returned to the inn and entered the magic domain"

Since they had already obtained a sample of where Eva was, they just had to follow the trail of which one was left behind. But there is one weakness. They tracked down all the places Eva had visited, all the places that left traces of where. So they need to go to great lengths to find the specific place where the girl is hiding.
They came out of the wooden house and began to disperse.
They searched for a few hours. Until finally one of them began to contact through telepathy.
"I found a strong trace of mana in this place" this person was in the meadow.
"me too. The mana was really strong and this place was very mysterious" one person was on the roof of one of the shops.

Everyone immediately fell silent.

"I'll ignore you" he said. Then he started talking to two other people. "Let's get together in an urban area and then head to the meadow"
All his colleagues agreed.
Finally the four old men headed towards the Magic City. They roam the shops while hiding themselves in the darkness of the night.

"But why can't we find him?"
"There are two possibilities. First the traces of where the girl was so strong that it took longer to fade. Second, the girl is hiding somewhere so we can't find her"
"So what should we do now?"

Dean Wason frowned. "I felt a very familiar mana just now. But it disappeared suddenly.." he muttered confusedly.
"Dean are you okay?" Robert asked when he saw Dean Wason daydreaming a little.
"I'm fine. Which detection device it leads to here. Let's check before we move somewhere else" Dean Wason ordered.

I teleported to a strange place. I finally decided to check out the neighborhood. It turns out we are still in an urban area with a lot of wooden houses. Then why is this area so deserted. "Be careful" the master warned.
Then suddenly four black-robed people surrounded them.

Eva and the other two were cornered in the middle.
"Ck!" the master clicked his tongue irritated.
"Damn!" the other one started to curse.
Eva was busy thinking. What should he do to escape? He can't fight at the moment. Their power difference was too far away. The three of them were only children in the eyes of these black robes. He must think of a plan! Plan to escape unharmed and then come back to report!
