Chapter 6 The Uninvited Guest (Denis)

Eva and Vivian cook a lot of food. Then they started serving it at dinner.
At the dinner table, everyone was gathered. But suddenly Sayn came. The man was the center of attention for it. Especially the Duke, who was observing Sayn from head to toe.
After the Duke learned of Sayn's true identity, he became unhappy. But Sayn overcame him by praising him so that Duke's impression of Sayn became better.

The dining table in the Duke's mansion was huge. As with the designs of noble houses, the table in front of them was very long and large. There are also many chairs. It was as if it was a banquet table for many.
Such a large table was only filled by a family of three, thus making the atmosphere feel lonely and awkward at dinner. But that was not often the case in the Duke's family, as Diana had always melted the atmosphere with her careless and gentle demeanor.
Now, they get two extra guys for dinner. Not three as usual. Diana was so excited when she saw Robert and Sayn.
For Robert, Diana had known him since Eva was a child, as she was Eva's magic teacher from childhood. And for Sayn, Diana just saw her today. The boy was the same age as his daughter. Moreover, he was a prince. Somehow Diana felt a little strange when she saw Sayn. It was as if her daughter had grown up and brought a lover. But Diana knew the thought was ridiculous. So he shook his head quickly, to throw away that thought. Besides, Eva already has her fiance. And the crown prince is not bad either. But Sayn's not bad either. Diana was very worried.
"Diana..." The duke kept calling out to her, but Diana ignored him as she kept daydreaming. But Diana heard her last call and slightly flinched.
"Oh? What's up?" diana asked innocently as she opened her eyes, looking at Duke.
The Duke frowned. He knew his wife was thinking about something to the point of ignoring him. "It's okay" but he won't ask anything and immediately gave up. "We can start dinner now" he exclaimed as he looked at everyone at the dinner table. "This is the cooking of my daughter and her friend. Hope you like it" he said kindly.
"Great master!" Wiya shouted as she opened the dining room door loudly, making it the focus of everyone. "Big master! Great sir..." Wiya kept repeating the same words nervously, like fear.
NAH! Duke subconsciously hit the dining table. "Stop rambling, what's up?!" tanyanya cold. His mood was not happy now that there was always a disturbance when dinner would begin.
"Uh..." Wiya lowered her head, wanting to say something.
Suddenly someone came inside. "Good night Duke" he said, bowing respectfully. It was Denis.
"The crown prince came to visit." Wiya finally finished her sentence with a small mutter before finally darting quickly out of the room not wanting to get involved.
Wiya is very sorry to be working as a doorman tonight. Usually this is the job of the butler, not his duty because he is only the personal servant of Lady Diana and Miss Eva. But suddenly the butler gave this doorman duty to her because she was busy handing out the remaining food to the other maids. He also wanted to eat the young lady's cooking. But he'll be the last one to eat her because she has to be on duty. He felt himself very poor.
First, it was just a foreign boy's guest. The gatekeeper did not allow her to enter because she was an unknown person. Until the young lady finally picked her up and declared her identity as the prince of the neighboring kingdom. Wiya slightly shuddered as she was the one who told the gatekeeper to hold her in front. It was a disrespectful gesture to a prince. But luckily the young prince had never thought of something like that.
The second is the unexpected arrival of guests. He came in a luxurious carriage of the royal family. Of course Wiya immediately flinched. He thought the queen or the king was coming. But it was impossible for them to visit without such a bodyguard. But it turns out that it was the crown prince. Wiya did not dare to hold the crown prince in front of the gate. So he let her in. Then report to Duke in a hurry.
But who would have thought that the Crown Prince would enter the dining room all of a sudden.
Denis came. Everyone immediately stood up from their dining table to give him some respect as a formality.
I still can't hide my surprise. Why is this guy here all of a sudden? He even comes at a time like this. What the hell's going on?
"What brings you to this place, Your Majesty?" asked the Duke with a slightly sour face.
"Sorry interfering. I just want to visit my fiancee's house. Is that a problem?" Denis raised his eyebrows while smiling.
I lifted my face and looked at him. Our gazes met and I immediately snorted in annoyance.
"Why are there so many strangers in this place?" denis was not happy. He observed the whereabouts of Robert and Sayn. He disliked Robert and looked at him sharply. To Sayn, he simply ignored her. "Are you having a banquet?" he asked again.
"It's just an ordinary dinner" the Duke replied later with a flat face. He looked at Denis as if he were an uninvited guest and wished the man to leave as soon as possible. "If your highness doesn't have a certain business to where others are, it's very distracting to other people's time" the Duke said indifferently. The Duke did not particularly like the Crown Prince as he was a timid brat in his eyes. The point is, he just doesn't like all the guys that hang out with his daughter. To him they are just pests.
Denis smiled uncomfortably at Duke's words.
"Little Denis, welcome~" Diana opened her mouth. He didn't even call Denis 'Your Majesty'.
Unlike the Duke, Diana was very fond of Denis. To him, Denis looks like a little bun. But unfortunately now the little bun had really grown big. "We're having dinner, will you join us?"
"Happy" Denis smiled slightly. This is the word he wanted.
Denis also doesn't know his purpose of going to Duke's mansion. He just felt uncomfortable after yesterday's incident. He feels guilty. He knew that he was also overreacting already snapping at the girl. Eva is wrong. It was only his selfishness because of the gripping demands as a king that should take care of his people and his country. So he vented his emotions on Eva.
Should he apologize again? He has apologized repeatedly. He thought the girl would not accept his apology anymore.
"I'm going to take her somewhere to spend the holidays" Denis thought. He thought, acting better than having to apologize again. He wants to spend time with her and make her happy to make amends. And subconsciously he had actually stomped his foot into the Duke's mansion.
At first, his mood was pretty good. But after seeing the whereabouts of some strangers, his mood became bad. He had not expected that Robert would have dinner with the Duke's extended family. And he also did not expect that there would be another foreign boy. She jealous? Of course he's jealous! Robert's reason as Eva's magic teacher will not disappear will be his discomfort. After all he had known Robert since they met at the Magic Tower. And the man clearly thought of him as an enemy!
"Humph!" The Duke only snorted in annoyance as he looked at the uninvited brat. He wanted to hit her for entering her house without permission. But she was a royal and her daughter's fiancee, so she gave her permission.
Denis slowly took a seat beside Vivian. He was quite disappointed that Eva was a seat away from him. But there was no way he would have told Vivian blatantly to exchange seats. He could only sigh in disappointment.
Vivian sat between Eva and Denis, feeling a heavy pressure on her shoulders. He felt like a stranger stuck between lovers. Of course she noticed Denis' slightly irritated gaze while sitting beside her. So with a plain expression he said. "Your Majesty, would you like to exchange seats? I feel His Majesty's chair is too short and uncomfortable"
Denis blinked meaningfully when he heard his words. Then he nodded and they exchanged chairs.
I didn't expect that Vivian would say that. Oi! Don't move! Why did you leave me! I wanted to scream and stop Vivian, but I of course it didn't happen. I can only cry in my heart.
Accidentally, my gaze and Denis met again. I looked at him with an expressionless face. But I didn't expect that he would smile like that.
What else is this guy planning? Didn't I stay away as best I could? And doesn't he hate me? Why did she suddenly appear in my house and smile innocently as if she was innocent now?
Sayn, an existence ignored by Denis, looked at her with a very dark gaze. The Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Well, he saw his first time in the Magic Domain back then.
