Chapter 4. Lion
Previous Story:
The troupe wandered through the forest for several hours before they decided to stop and rest. Yeah, they stopped for lunch. The academy boys from the Kingdom of Well ate their own meals. And the princes and princesses of the Kano kingdom told their personal servants to cook on the spot. The differences in the eating culture of these two kingdoms had surprised Eva. Eva doesn't even think that Reina, the main character, decided to get along with the prince and princess.

ROARS!! The roar was heard throughout the forest. A few small animals that heard it, immediately scattered to dodge.
Everyone stood up and was alert. The soldiers of the bodyguards instantly surrounded the princes and princesses. We approached them and Robert protected at the very front.

One of the largest lions, the lion leader, began to roar again. Then in an instant all the other lions started roaring. And they ran right up to us!

I heard the women in the group screaming hysterically as the group of lions started crashing through the shield.
Actually all the women were screaming in fear. Only Eva, Lilac, Reina and Si Sadako (Eva did not know her name) were calmly observing the situation.
Robert started to advance and use his magic. Robert thought the lions would be lured to swarm him, but they were not. That magical beast is so clever! Two of them broke away to face Robert while the rest still continued crashing through the shield.
Defeating two lions takes time for Robert. He was afraid that the shield would not last long.
After five minutes, the two lions were defeated and Robert began attacking the other lions with area magic. The result was not good, because Robert was trying to reduce his magic so as not to hurt us all. The lions surrounded us. So Robert can't destroy them all at once because we will also be affected by his magic. Inevitably he had to lure it one by one and defeat it.
But after a few minutes, the shield was destroyed. The remaining lions began to attack, but the soldiers immediately swiftly held him back.
"All of you, protect your majesty" one of the soldiers shouted at us. They want us to protect those princes and princesses. Of course we nodded.
We thought the soldiers were strong enough to defeat the lions, but they weren't. Only a few of them survived and fought. The rest lost miserably. The lions who obtained their victory from the soldiers immediately approached us. No one can protect us. Robert was busy with five lions. The soldiers were also busy with their respective lions. We have to face this magical beast ourselves.
"Come on!" Lilac vigorously leapt forward and blocked one lion. His brother Louis also helped him.
Actually this two-on-one tactic is quite effective because we are still kids.
So the boys started to form groups to fight the lions. Reina with her two best friends and the second prince. Two royals, Ben and Chris. The crown prince and princes. Fena looked at me with her sad eyes blocked by her hair. Then the girl nodded slowly. He casts his magic and directs it to the lion. The lion roared as the ice needles hit his body. But unfortunately, the ice needle did not hurt the lion. The lion was even more angry because it tickled him.
"His skin is quite hard" Fena muttered as she clicked her tongue irritated.
Eventually the girl cast another magic, but it still only made the lion even more angry. The lion was unharmed, he only lost a few feathers due to Fena's magic.
I watched the fight and thought. It turns out that these lions are strong enough for children. These brats were still unable to fight with a level 4 magic beast.
"Curtain!" fena shouted annoyed. Then he cast a strange spell.
Eh? I was a bit surprised when I saw the mana. It's dark? It's impossible, right? The dark elements surrounding Fena turned blue again and she produced some ice needles with deep deep blue.
Fena started throwing her magic. And it turns out that it's effective! The ice needle broke through the lion's body. The lion roars in pain. But unfortunately, his magic was not enough to make the lion die. Because the ice needles produced are small, so only stuck in the skin of the lion. It did not penetrate his internal organs.
I unleashed my fireball magic and threw it at the injured lion. In an instant the fireball enveloped the entire body of the lion and the lion burned to ashes.

The lion attacked and they shouted in fear. It was fortunate that the crown prince acted quickly throwing the lion's body to the other side with his magic. The princes attacked and the lion was defeated. It turns out that the power of this crown prince is not bad either.
I saw Sayn mingling with the prince. He has not shown his ability at all. Pretending to be a powerless being that occasionally casts out small wind magic.
Then on the other side I saw Reina busy treating all the injured people who were still alive.
Looks like the fire twins fight will also be over. Because the lion was battered.
I saw a magical beast that was defeated. It's been more than half. I thought we were gonna win this fight. Robert had even fought three new lions again.
I thought it was all gonna be over. But..I think I forgot something? I did not see the big lion in the first place. The lion king who led this group of lions. Where is the beast?
