Chapter 7 The Visit of Denis

Prince Erick introduced himself. Denis was a little surprised to find out his identity. This was also the first time he had met the crown prince from a very distant kingdom. Denis had never visited the kingdom because it was so far away.
"If you don't mind. Can I practice sparring?" Prince Erick ditched his courtesy and asked to train a match with Denis. He was curious about the strength of that somewhat famous man.
Before starting, they bow to each other as greetings. Then Denis started saying "Please, start first, Your Majesty"
Prince Erick's mouth twitched. He felt his opponent underestimated him, so he felt a little annoyed.

Prince Erick pulled out his sword. "Don't let your guard down" he said. Then he exerted his strength to attack.
His movements are so fast. Even Denis was surprised. He underestimated his opponent. But Denis also pulled out his sword quickly and "Tang!" the two swords clashed against each other.
"But! Tang! Tang!" the sound of swords roaring throughout the arena. And the two figures moved quickly. Even some people with weak abilities, could not see their movements at all. Their movements could not be seen with the naked eye.
"Wow, they're great" Eva muttered.
Sayn heard him and she replied in a sour tone "Very ordinary. I can do even more than that"
Eva just smiled and did not respond.
Their swords clashed for a continuous period. None of the two parties were really serious about bringing out their abilities. They just test their physicality and speed. Not using deadly magic or anything because this is just a match practice, not a serious fight.
Until finally, Prince Erick let his guard down and Denis' sword almost pierced his neck. But Denis stopped.
Prince Erick smiled wily. "I lost". Then he put his sword back in.

Denis gets off the arena and wants to see Eva. But suddenly a short figure blocked his path.
"Your highness..."
Denis recognized the squeaking sound. It was Reina. He did not care and ignored her.
But Reina said quickly. "Your Majesty, I want to tell you something!"
"I'm busy now" Denis responded indifferently.
"This is important information!" Reina insisted. "About the dark witches who infiltrated the kingdom..."
Denis stopped and he turned his head while frowning. "What?"
