Their camp is not far away. But it still takes twenty minutes to get to that place. Ren and the others no longer used their flying magic. They walked in front side by side with the Duke. While the Duke sat on the horse while carrying the unconscious Diana.
Everyone is silent. The atmosphere was very quiet because of Ren's existence. The duke who did not even like Ren before, fell silent and behaved uncomfortably. After all he saw the power of Ren that could destroy the entire human kingdom with his own eyes. He looked at his wife who was in his arms and sighed. Who would have thought that his wife and mother-in-law would come into contact with such a creature.
Eva was silent too. But he kept glancing towards Ren stealthily. As Ren moved his head, he immediately turned his head in the other direction quickly. He also felt very awkward. "Elfs?" he mumbled confusedly.
The Duke ordered the troops to rest around the camp because this campground was not enough to accommodate everyone. Then he sent some of the injured people towards one of the tents so they could be treated.
"How is he doing?" The Duke asked Prince Erick.
Prince Erick was a little jolted. He put on an awkward face while occasionally glancing towards Ren. He smiled and explained everything that happened. "We're doing fine. But a strange army with strange clothes appeared in this place. They were a group of light witches. But they didn't do anything to us and just hitchhiked by"
The Duke frowned. Then he nodded slowly. He felt a little relieved that they were fine. "good work" he patted the young man on the shoulder. The Duke looked at him solemnly. "Thank you very much" he said sincerely.
Prince Erick blushed in shame. "No problem." she said with an awkward laugh.
The Duke takes Diana to the same tent where Evan is asleep. Eva and Emerta followed suit. But suddenly Prince Erick is blocking Emerta. "Excuse me aunty for a minute"
"Auntie" is a fitting call for Emerta rather than "Grandmother" as her figure is indeed that young. Emerta turned her head towards him with a cold expression as usual. "What's wrong?"
Eva also stopped to look at the two in turn. But Emerta said "You can go there first. Make sure Diana's condition is okay?" she said softly to Eva.
"uhm" Eva nodded obediently and went inside the tent. He was not very interested because he was worried about his mother's condition.
Then Emerta looked back at Erick with a very deadly expressionless gaze. Erick felt his whole body goosebumps. He was scared but he held it. He was more afraid of his father. "Can we talk for a second?"
"Yes!" He answered straightforwardly. He looked at Emerta with a serious look as well.
"All right"
Erick gave a sigh of relief. He led Emerta to a fairly quiet place and took out his crystal ball. "There's someone who wants to talk to you" he said.
Emerta was silent, not replying. Erick turned on the crystal ball and an old man appeared from behind the crystal screen.
Emerta frowned again. He looked at each other with the old man. Somehow the old man felt familiar to him. As he looked into her eyes, he felt warm in her heart. But he doesn't know what it is. He did not remember meeting this man before.
"Dad..."
"You can go" the king of Albion cut straight. Prince Erick gawking. He hasn't even finished his words.

"Are you deaf?"

He was speechless as he looked at his father who had a woman-like mood when the moon came. He just looked at the old man with a sullen face. "Alright" he immediately handed the crystal ball to Emerta. Then waltzed away with annoyed steps. It should be like that. But he stopped, then turned quickly and hid himself behind the tent.

Emerta and King Albion looked at each other. The old man's gaze was filled with sadness, his eyes glazed over. Emerta's gaze was filled with confusion. Their actions are very contrary to each other.
"Sorry, who are you?" ask Emerta directly.
King Albion gasped. He looked at the beautiful woman in front of him with an awkward face. The woman did not even remember him at all.
"Emerta. it's me..."
Emerta frowned, confused.
King Albion raised his hand and showed a small bracelet on his wrist. Wristbands from rattan are very simple and look very shabby.
