Chapter 3: Getting Stuck
"Master!" I screamed happily while looking at Robert's back. Then, with a quick movement I immediately hugged her."
"Maaster I'm afraid of ~" I said in a spoiled tone.
Robert rubbed my hair "It's okay. There I am. I will protect you" he said gently.
Charlotte and the cloaked figure instantly stopped the attack. The cloaked figure flew towards Charlotte's side.
"Robert!" Charlotte screaming. "You're back. I miss you so much" he said in a soft tone.
Robert scrunched his forehead. "Why did you kidnap Eva? Why are you involving my students?" robert asked coldly.
"Uhhh..." Charlotte's nervous.
"I don't mean to involve her if you don't act like this" Charlotte said.
"I just don't want to get involved!"
"Why? You are his son! You can't be like that. In addition to having your father status, he is also your master. Why are you acting like this to her!" sahut Charlotte insisted.
"Humph!" Robert grunting. "Do you know the old man's personality? I've lived with him since I was a kid. I know his power-hungry nature. I'm a fool, but that doesn't mean I'm easily fooled by you. "
Robert's tone slowly grew cold "I also knew that I was being used or not"
Charlotte's face changed. He began to smile sarcastically "You won't be able to get out here. Either way!"

Not yet had Robert finished his words, Charlotte had taken something in the shape of a ball. He threw it at Robert. Robert hugged Eva while using a protective spell. The ball was about the protector and BYARR! A cluster of light detached and made the scene go blind for a moment.
Robert narrowed his eyes, and his gaze recovered as the light dwindled. The cluster of light began to dim and formed a semicircular dome that surrounded Robert and Eva.
I began to idly try to touch the dome of light that locked us up that "ouch" I jerked while pulling my hand back. It hurts a little, like being hit by a small electrical current.
"You okay Eva?" robert said worriedly. "Don't move recklessly and touch strange things" he continued, picking up my stung finger and blowing it away.
My face slowly blushed. No one has ever cared for me like this. Except, my parents and the people at the duke's house. Is this the effect of my approach all along? Why did Robert become overprotective with me?
Hm, hm, this isn't bad. At least if it continues like this, my future can be guaranteed. I should be able to find a strong man to seek additional protection.
"I'm fine. I won't repeat" I replied slowly. "Masterr, don't be angry okay?"
"I'm not scolding you. I'm just advising you."
"Robert!" Charlotte shouted suddenly. "Have you heard my warning from before? I'm not getting you out of this place" he said.
"So did the little girl" her tone turned cold.
"You can threaten me. But just be careful if you touch my students" Robert said coldly.
"Gmp!" Charlotte grunts. He let out a whistle "I'll never let you run again!"
Wow, this is a strange magic device. I also want one, who knows it's useful to ask for help at critical times.
Robert suddenly moved quickly when he saw Charlotte blowing her whistle.
"Great.." he muttered a little, looking a little anxious.
"It's too late" said Charlotte, smiling triumphantly.
Robert quickly shook his hand and cast magic.
THE TRANGGANG! in an instant the dome of light fell into small fragments.
Charlotte and the cloaked figure stared in shock.
"How about.maybe.." said Charlotte stammered. He had already asked for a powerful magic tool to use as a magician prison. It's a premium grade magic tool! But, that quality magic tool was useless in front of Robert. He broke it with just one spell.
"He's memeng.dangerous..."
"But.." Charlotte changed her expression again. He calmed back down "It's too late hehe"
'Robert was a little anxious. He knows something's wrong.
'Did Charlotte call her subordinates just now? But is that useful? Those little rats are not my opponents!' thought Robert. He led Eva to the exit.
Suddenly, SWOSH! SWOSH! SWOSH!
the white-robed figure blocked his path!
There were about 10 white-robed figures that flashed in an instant.
"Hmph! You think they can stop me? It's a waste of human resources" said Robert arrogantly. He had already raised his hand, preparing to use a spell.
But Charlotte did not respond to anything, she just smiled sweetly.
"ROBERT" a loud and cold shout rang out. The shout echoed in the distance.
Robert stopped his hand. He directly observed his surroundings. But he did not find the source of the sound.
Slowly a small black dot appeared from above the ceiling. The figure appeared using a magic gate. It slowly revealed the figure of a middle-aged man, who already had some wrinkles around his eyes. The middle-aged man had long white hair braided backwards. And a long black robe with golden tassels.
"Lean Caro!" Shouted Charlotte happily.
"You dare to run away again!!" Dean Caro raised his voice. His loud voice echoed throughout the room and caused the ground beneath him to tremble.
Robert saw Dean Caro, and Dean Caro saw him. They looked at each other for a moment, and Dean Caro immediately revealed a cold smile.
Unknowingly Robert's back shuddered.
