Chapter 7 Strange Light Points

Eva managed to find Duke's camp. And they met again. Duke tells her everything that happened and leaves Eva shocked. Because he did not expect that the Zent marquis would kill the King. Then one of the old men in black robes came up to them and said that Evan's condition was strange. Eva and Emerta are shocked.

Eva and Emerta looked at Duke, asking for an explanation.
The duke hesitantly explained what happened. About how Evan became unconscious after Marquis Zent took his hostage.
They rushed to the tent where Evan was sleeping.
Emerta raised Eva cautiously. He channeled his mana to see what was wrong inside that body. The mana spreads throughout the baby's body.
Emerta frowned.
"What's going on?" asked the Duke worried. "You found something"
"Nothing" replied Emerta lethargic. Emerta did not find anything wrong in the baby's body. He checked all his veins. Everything's normal. There are no wounds and no poison. There is no deviation of mana. There was no reaction from any strange medicine. Why didn't the baby wake up?
Emerta could see that Evan was fast asleep. His breathing is perfectly normal.
"There's nothing strange about his body" Emerta added.
"Cannot be. He's been asleep since yesterday. Can't even get up. Something is wrong" Duke said in a panic. He panicked because it was already two people who said that they had not found any strangeness.
"The baby is healthy sir. There were no signs of using magic or poison" the old man added.
"No. There must be something wrong. We just can't find her" Duke said. If it continues like this, Evan will limp because it does not get the intake of nutrients. Although there was no Diana, she had to give the baby milk so as not to starve.
As the three people were talking to each other, Eva quietly walked towards Evan and touched his forehead.
Her body temperature is normal. Evan has no fever. Then Eva put the mana all over Evan's body. And true Emerta said. He also did not find anything strange.
Eva then uses her healing light magic. Magic can cure many diseases.
When a very bright light came out of his hand. He immediately became the center of attention. Everyone was shocked but they didn't bother Eva. They are afraid of ruining their concentration.
After a few minutes, Eva was done. But nothing changed for Evan. Everyone is frozen.
Light magic had no effect either!
Duke's face grew pale. She's panicking. He thought what good would it do if he managed to save Diana if Evan was in danger?
Diana would be sad to see her baby like this. The duke was afraid Diana would get angry at him and leave him. He felt like a useless father to his wife and children.
Eva was confused too. He thought of something. He had already used all kinds of mana to check on Evan. But there's no problem whatsoever.
There is only one which has not been used. That's where the darkness is. But it was a strange thing to use where the darkness in a baby's body was.
But Eva tried it anyway. Evan is a descendant too. Dark magic will have no effect on him.
Eva takes out her dark magic and spreads it all over Evan's body.
And he found something!
Eva doesn't understand. The moment when the darkness tried to touch that spot of light, the mana instantly faded away. It was as if that point of light was neutralizing his mana.
She's confused. The moment he used another mana, that point of light would disappear, invisible. So even though Eva wanted to attack, the place looked empty without anything wrong.
Eva told everyone after that. There was a strange point of light that blocked the flow of mana on Evan's body. And that spot of light could only be seen with where the darkness was.
Emerta fell silent, he thought of something about it.
"Try using that light and dark magic at the same time. When that point appears, strike it with your light magic" Emerta said.
Eva tried. He attacked that point of light with his mana and CRAK! The light point cracked and slowly faded away. After that point of light disappeared, the mana flow in Evan's body returned to normal.
Eva tries to touch Evan's cheek and the little baby instantly opens her big eyes.
Evan blinked a few times then smiled and laughed while swinging his hand.
Duke's eyes twinkled. He happily lifted Evan in his arms. Then take out a bottle of milk from the nyam storage room after that warm the milk bottle with fire magic. And gave it to Evan. Then she started singing a strange song while smiling.
Eva just smiled a little when she saw her father's behavior. Then he looked at Emerta.
"What light point is it really ?" ask Eva.
Emerta looked at Eva seriously. "Kai's too small to know"
"Grandmother" Eva looked at Diana pouting. "If grandma kept everything a secret. How can I save others if the same thing happens again?"
Emerta took a deep breath and replied. "It's light magic."
"?"
"That clogs up the stream where Evan is the light witch"
"What?" Eva was shocked. He immediately thought of Reina. But when it happened Reina was in Kano. So there's no way that the light witch is Reina. "Marquis has another light witch near him?" eva muttered involuntarily
"And not just any light wizard" Emerta added. "I'm sure he's from that organization"
"What organization?"
"Holy temple..."
Eva remembers it. He remembered the ancient kingdom that stood in the past. And destroyed to ruins by David. But Eva did not think that the organization still existed.
"Don't it have been destroyed a few hundred years ago?"
"They may still be alive and hiding themselves" Emerta said. He scrunched his forehead, was in serious thinking mode.
"Why should they hide?" Eva doesn't understand. Light witches aren't villains of the world like dark witches, why should they hide?
Emerta. "I don't understand either. I don't understand why they're hiding and suddenly show up right now. They must be planning something"
"Plan something? The marquis? Oh no. Well kingdom? They want to plan something in the kingdom well?"
Emerta nodded.
