Chapter 6 Dinner

Ren came by appearing suddenly inside the room. It makes everyone into an uproar. His appearance made everyone alert and prepared with attacking positions, especially Duke.
The Duke grew even more furious when he saw his wife embracing Ren affectionately and crying. She was also shocked and thought that Diana was having an affair. Until he finally finds out Ren's true identity, and his anger fades a little.

"Ren, I didn't know that you were teaching at the academy" Diana said. "Um, or maybe I forgot her too" She doesn't remember Eva ever telling me about it or not.

Finally, they could all eat without any interruption.
"It feels so good" Denis praised as he looked at Eva. It was as if she was directing her praise at Eva.
"Vivian who cooks. I was just helping cut onions" I replied coldly. Thas right. This is Vivian's cooking. How can you say as if I cooked it.
Denis fell silent after hearing his answer.
"Cutting onions is also a good skill" Sayn continued later.
"Thank you" I said flatly.
Denis looked straight at Sayn with a frown. "I heard you were from Kano?" denis asked politely, but her voice was very cold.
"Yes, Your Majesty. I am a prince" Sayn replied. He wanted to emphasize the word prince so that Denis would not underestimate his status.

I glared at Ren. His words could make others misunderstand! We're not close at all. And obviously that guy always kidnaps me!

"My mom and I are going to visit somewhere with Ren" I added.

"What are you guys gonna do?" The Duke looked at his wife and daughter with a cold face.
I actually wanted to answer 'meet grandma'. But Diana was ahead of me.
"Secret" Diana said as she blinked her eyes at the Duke. Makes the Duke's entire body tremble furiously.
"Stop joking!" the Duke was not happy.
"Humph!" Diana turned her face, pouting. "I won't tell you that you keep seeing me with that face!" diana protests.
Wait, whoa. Don't fight here okay. I don't want to have a husband-and-wife fight here at all.
But the quarrel I was expecting did not happen. Duke has relented.
"I wouldn't. So tell me" her gaze softened.
"OK, I'll tell you later tonight~" Diana responded. The atmosphere returned clear.
Finally the heavy dinner was over. Denis and Sayn go home first. I drove the two men to the exit.
Diana enthusiastically pulled Ren's hand and took him somewhere. Duke died with a bad face. While Robert was still accompanying the Duke at the dining table, while sipping his tea gracefully.
Before getting into her carriage, Denis turned around and looked at Eva. "I'm sorry" he said with a sorry face. "See you later" she immediately turned away, not letting Eva return her words.
"What's going on? You guys quarreling?" ask Sayn. But inwardly, he was very happy with this incident.
"No. It was just a misunderstanding" I replied unconcernedly. Denis apologized? I won't care anymore okay. Even though he would yell at me or blame me again, I had already mentally prepared for it.
"I want to ask you something. Are you really close to Reina? Or do you want to investigate the mysterious man from the marquis house?" i asked.
"The second one" Sayn replied directly.
I expected it. "But if you get close to her, is that better?" I asked again. Actually, deep down, I was afraid that Sayn would be fascinated with Reina, then turn against me. "alright. Don't forget to be careful" I said later.
"Of course" Sayn actually wanted to tell the mission about the Duchess's murder, but she became hesitant when she saw Eva's worried face. He did not want to add any burden to the little girl. So he decided to clean up all of it himself. "See later. Enjoy your vacation" Sayn said. He smiled gently before finally disappearing.
Denis and Sayn are home. Only Robert and Ren remain in this house. It was as if it had split into two camps. Diana was currently talking to Ren, and the Duke was talking to Robert. I don't know what they're talking about. But Eva decides to approach Diana and Ren, needing to travel long distances after this.
