Chapter 7 Introgation

Vivian decides to visit the palace and meet with the King. The king refused because the man was very busy. So Vivian was just left alone in the place. Until the end he saw a group of servants and decided to follow them. And Vivian found Evan and Wiya. Vivian decides to save Evan even though Eva tells him not to get involved.

"Is this okay, miss?" Wiya saw Vivian hesitating. He put on the magic robe given by Vivian while covering Evan who was in his sling.
Wiya felt outside unsafe because there were so many guards. If they get caught, maybe their punishment will become more severe and Wiya will be separated from Evan. Wiya did not dare to take the risk.
"Just calm. Everything's gonna be fine. Right now everyone was only focusing on the Duke and his wife. The guard here is not too strict" Vivian said seriously. "We have to leave immediately" he said quickly.

And Vivian can only save her. He could not save the Duke and his wife because their guard was very tight. And Vivian didn't want to make a messy plan.
Vivian used her magic tool to put all the guards to sleep. Then he used a translucent coat along with Wiya. Then they both sneak out.
Wiya scrunched her forehead. He had no idea where Vivian was going to take him. But she keeps following him because she knows Vivian won't hurt him and Evan.

The king rushed to the Duke when he found out the man was already unconscious. He wanted to give the Duke a chance. If the Duke can cooperate with the kingdom then he will let him secure his noble position in the kingdom of Well.

The Duke just stared at him sharply.
"I'll give you a chance" said the King.
"You've been with that dark witch long enough, haven't you? He brainwashed you so you'd be like this. I'll help you" The king ordered one of the witches to approach the Duke and examine him.
"Diana never brainwashed me at all!" Duke thrashing. But it was useless, because the witch managed to hold his head. The witch closed her eyes and read a mind spell.
The Duke's eyes widened and he froze, as if his body was struck by an electric current.
"Your Majesty, there are no traces of mind magic on him" the magician said then as he removed his hand from the Duke's head.
The king scrunched his forehead.
"Did you know the identity of that woman from the first time you married her?" ask King. He did not care about the condition of the Duke who was on the verge of Death. He asked as if he was talking to a healthy person.
Duke just stared at his hate.
The king nodded his head. Somehow he knew the answer even though Duke didn't answer.
"Why did you bring him to this kingdom if you knew? Are you also involved with the dark wizard organization?" ask the King again.
"Diana doesn't know anything about that damn organization!" Duke shouted furiously.
Raj is getting unhappy. "You're completely knee-deep under the control of that woman Enell" the King looked at the pitiful Duke. "Even you are willing to betray this kingdom just for the sake of a spy. I never thought..."
"I never betrayed this kingdom. It was you who betrayed me" the Duke said firmly. "I'm really disappointed in you fucking guy. You're not even investigating what happened and the vigilante. I'm really disappointed to have used my power to protect the border. I fought only because I wanted my family to live comfortably in this kingdom. But this damn kingdom, the nobles and you, really have no shame!" The Duke swore the King mercilessly.
"I found a lot of evidence that led to those dark witches. I really cannot do anything to help you. And I'm sorry" said the King. "But justice must be done. I must execute the dark wizard. But I'll let you and your kids not get involved. But you must give up and let the law proceed as it should" the King said very wisely.
"Haw your head! I won't let you hurt Diana!"
The king looked at Duke miris. "I know that love is blind. But you're really broken" the king stood up, preparing to leave the room. But before he left he said. "I'll check on the woman. I hope he cooperates and tells all the information. So I don't have to hurt her"
The Duke shouted but the King ignored him. And slowly, the Duke's screams disappeared. The king left the place and headed to another place. Introgating Duke was completely free, he did not get any information. There are only two possibilities. First, the Duke was completely unaware of any information. Second, the Duke was hiding information. But he couldn't torture Duke because he wasn't a suspect.
