Chapter 6 Friends

The next day Eva woke up in her room. He didn't even realize that Ren had brought him home when he fell asleep. And Eva doesn't expect that Ren will be that good at driving her home either.
Then Eva spent time in the library when she arrived at the academy because she didn't want to meet anyone. He just spends his time sleeping all day.
This was his last day at the academy before the holidays arrived. After this they would take a month off and return again next month as second-rate disciples.
After the academy hours ended, Eva headed straight to the dormitory to meet Vivian. He wanted to say goodbye to the girl and invite her to stay at his Mansion for safety.

"I will miss you during the holidays" Vivian said in a spoiled tone.
"I actually went to the dormitory because I wanted to see you and ask you one thing. During the holidays, do you want to stay in my mansion?" ask directly.
Vivian's face looked doubtful and she did not reply.
"This is for your safety. At least it'll be safer if you stay in my mansion. Rather than having to stay alone in the capital" I continued. But I won't force her to stay if she doesn't want to.
"Alright" he suddenly answered quickly. All of this was because Vivian was reminded of her safety. Besides, it's not suspicious to stay at your friend's house while you're on vacation.
"Emm.but chances are I won't stay in the mansion long enough because I have to travel." I replied awkwardly.
"No problem. I will be a good boy in your place" Vivian replied. "Although it might be a little lonely if you're really not there. I thought we could spend the holidays together." she replied later in a slightly sad tone.
"I'll get my business done as soon as possible. Just chill. After that, we can spend vacation time together okay. I'd like to take you to the Magic Tower too"
My departure is still uncertain. I will only go to the dark elf palace if my mother agrees to leave. I haven't even asked my mom about it.
Vivian's eyes sparkled as she heard the word "Magic Tower". And he nodded slowly.
Vivian prepared by putting all her stuff into the dimensional space. Then the two girls walked leisurely towards one of the mansions in the capital.
When they arrived, Duke and Diana greeted Vivian with enthusiasm.
"This is the first time my Eva has brought her girl friend to home~" Diana said excitedly.
Vivian lowered her head. His face was embarrassed.
"I invited Vivian to stay here for the holidays" I said.
"Alright, prepare a room for Miss Vivian" Duke instructed the butler who was in the corner of the room. The butler nodded slowly and hurried to do as he was told.
"Miss Vivian, you're so beautiful~" praised Diana.
"Te. thank you..."
"You look more feminine than Eva" said Diana scowling.

"You know from childhood Eva wasn't feminine at all. I bought him a lot of lace and ribbons. But he wasted it all. She really influenced her father to learn magic" Diana continued. And Diana continues to babble and recount Eva's humiliating childhood. Vivian only heard it while occasionally smiling and nodding small. While Eva has to listen to her childhood disgrace story in a corner with a slightly sour feeling.
Shortly after, the butler informed them that Vivian's room was ready. Vivian's room was next to hers. Perhaps the duke had already set it up because this position was really efficient. Eva takes Vivian straight to her room.
"Your mother is really fun" Vivian said. She felt a little nostalgic and her eyes were a little sad. Unintentionally, her interaction with Diana recalls her childhood, when her mother was alive.
"Well, he's always excited every day" I said.
"My mom is not like that. He's a serious man. But he is also very understanding. Sometimes I think he's too cold. But it turns out that she is a warm person" Vivian said with her own eyes.

I nodded slowly.
"I'm sure you must have missed some news because you've been truant a lot lately" mocked Vivian with a mischievous look. "I even have rumors about the Crown Prince." He blinked his eyes.
My face twitches. But I didn't say anything in return.
Vivian did not wait for Eva's response at all. He immediately told me with passion. Most of the stories he told were ridiculous stories and some disgrace from the students as well as the teachers. But Eva heard it all with an interested face. And finally the two people continued to gossip until they forgot the time.
"Hello pretty girls, let's have dinner~" Diana's voice came from behind the bedroom door.
Eva and Vivian fell silent. They stared at the door with shocked faces. They were unaware that they had spent four hours gossiping.
"We'll continue after dinner. Come down" I pulled Vivian's hand, heading towards the dining table on the ground floor.
Vivian looked at Eva's back, and a small smile formed on her lips. This was the first time she had a female friend. Eva is the most important person for him after his mother. And that will never change.
