The Struggle of a Child

The Struggle of a Child
Have dinner together

Evening has arrived. My usual routine is to teach after the Maghrib has finished I do, even so is my sister. He had also finished doing activities, as I did that was, teaching after the Maghrib with my father.

After we finished, we enjoyed the dinner that was served. The dish this time felt very different, the dinner that was usually prepared by my father, is now prepared by my mother. He seems so busy with everything.

Tonight my studies and my sister's very smoothly there's not the slightest mistake. My father was so happy to see it. His old face looks bright as if his frustration earlier against the two of us he forgot.

On the sidelines of me and my sister was teaching it turns out my mother-in-law has been busy doing everything herself. I see the habit, that who holds the kitchen for cooking is my father is now done by our aunt. He did, as my father used to do.

My father has never neglected it, even for a day. He was very firm in what had become his duty, that is what he often told us.

Tonight where my sister, my father, and my extended mother are ready to sit down to enjoy the dinner that is available, so many foods that have been neatly arranged on the floor are lined with mats that are often used for eating.

"Liyan, Iris. Come here, the food is done !" call our mother and call us.

"Yes, ma'am," I said from inside the room a little loudly so he could hear it.

I who arranged my teaching equipment was neatly ready immediately. Mukena that I was wearing according to my size, I hang where it should be. I'ROQku now I put in place nicely. I then tidied up my hair and clothes that were a little messy, it just so happened that my short hair was so easy to tidy up, I tidied it up for a while.

"Let's! Are you done?" my many.

"Already, brother," replied my sister. Right behind me. Doing as I do is, putting together our teaching gear.

"When it's over, let's eat. Mother has called us" I said.

"Yes, Brother."

"Liyan, Anna! Especially?! Come, Son! Tonight we eat together" cried my father from behind the walls of our room.

"Yes, Dad" I replied. My sister and I immediately went out to our father and mother who had been sitting waiting for us.

I went out, walked slowly by my sister from behind, then I approached and dropped my weak body on the floor to sit down to enjoy the dishes that had been served. My sister too, she sat not far from me, then she arranged her seat neatly and took the plate first.

"Dad. Ana first, yeah." My little brother's hand immediately picked up the plate that was located.

"Yes, take it, son," greeted my father affectionately.

My father's hand immediately served some of the food he had finished cooking earlier to my sister.

"Now, which one's Dad going to eat?" I took the plate and heard my father ask my sister.

My spoiled sister. "It's Daddy!" My sister pointed at her favorite fried chicken as if forgetting her mistake.

"This one!" Both of my father's eyeballs were immediately fixed and picked up the fried chicken.

I who put rice into my own plate was so careless to see my spoiled sister who did not remember the incident earlier. Both balls of my eyes turned to look at him, but darling, he did not want to understand me in the least.

My mother who was sitting right in front of me looked calm. He seemed to have no memory of the trouble that had just happened between me, my brother and my father.

"Liyans. Eat a lot so you can heal quickly" my mother said, putting food on her plate.

"Yes, Mom," I replied.

"Don't eat anything else, other than that fish and carrot soup!" My mother pointed with both eyes.

"Let Daddy's son, get well soon, won't you." My father looked at me with affection.

I who was confused by their attitude made both balls of my eyes spin asking myself.

"Yes, Dad." Hearing My Dad. I immediately replied to my father's words with a flabbergasted look at my sister while looking down.

My face was uncomfortable too. It hurts me more and more to be a child with a big stack of question marks attacking me at the moment.

"Liyan!" My father suddenly called me.

"Yes, Dad," I said, chewing.

"Is your pain today a lack?" ask my father who grabbed me.

The deg! My mouth stopped chewing.

"Dad wants to hear from you himself," continued my father whose curiosity looks great.

My weak hand is getting weaker. The spoon suddenly slipped away slowly. My heart was so rumbling, the more anxiety I felt.

The faces of those two my sister and mother, one by one, were looking at me in panic. They wanted me to leave so I could survive. However, that would never happen because of seeing my father being so strict in applying the rules.

My father turned his head to the side and saw me. "Liyan, why shut up?" ask my dad to get curious.

I was also confused as to what answer to my father. I turned my tablespoon with a blank look while turning my brain to answer my father's question.

"Why ask that, Liyan?" our mother cut off my father's questions.

My father immediately turned his gaze to see my mother. "Just want to know. Is Liyan cured or not?" My father looked back at the rice in front of him. "Because it is not good, if you continue to take the drug. The side effects were huge and it wasn't good for little Liyan."

"Liyan, won't be taking medicine forever. In a moment, he will definitely be healed?!" my mother said my connection was soothing to my father's concerns.

"Yes. I hope it is like that too. Liyan will be cured soon." Staring at the nanar while pouring water into the glass.

"Dad, you'll get better if you play." My sister suddenly made an innocent voice that made my father startled and reflexively turned his head to look at my sister.

"Playing?!" Continue our extended mother who was surprised as well.

"Play what, son?" My father immediately put the glass to look at my sister seriously.

"What is Dad?! That should definitely play. If you want to recover quickly, don't stay home, Dad, "my sister said. Smartass.

"Don't just stay home?!" My father digested my sister's words.

"Yes, Dad. If we play outside, there are a lot of friends and a lot of games" my sister explained to my father, pretending to know.

"Then. Dad's son knows what else is out there?" My father asked me to find out where my sister was going.

"Many Fathers. There's playing marbles, there's playing hide-and-seek, there's playing rubber bands, there's playing round balls." Staring with a signal, if the game we had played earlier.

My mom and I just kept quiet and listened to the two of them talk. My ears heard clearly that my sister was trying to seduce my father to give me permission to play outside.
