"When you came home you didn't see your sister?" ask my dad to shake off the dirty clothes.
"No Dad," I replied with a worried look.
"How far is your class with your sister's class?" My father continued the question.
I just kept quiet hearing my dad. My weak little fingers who wanted to hang the bag stopped. My mind was also spinning thinking of my sister. "Not far from Dad." I was forced to open my pale lips staring at my feet which were standing weakly helpless.
Now my father is back shaking my mind about my sister. Basically, my sister and I weren't so close when I was at school. My sister is friends with her friend and I am friends with my friend.
"Father earlier Liyan had already looked into her class. But the door to his class is closed." I told my father. "Liyan had also asked her classmates. He said, Ana's home."
"Where's he going? Not back yet. I've been home a long time, and I haven't seen your sister back." My father walked following his shadow approaching the stove and pot.
"Maybe he's on the road again, Dad," I replied. Sok knows.
"Why did he walk so long. Just who is he walking this afternoon" my father continued cooking for our lunch.
The reflexes of my pale lips were silent, worries immediately approached me. An uneasy feeling enveloped my poor self and stood at the door looking out.
The voice of my father cooking in the kitchen was heard to my ears who stood looking at my brother to and fro with a gaze full of concentration.
Temple ! Temple ! Temple !
The clang was still heard accompanying the two of us at home. My father from the kitchen muttered I heard. "Anna hasn't come back yet, your mother has gone nowhere" my father moaned, still thinking about my sister and my mother.
I was so sad after hearing a little mumble from my father. Impeachment gnawed to the point of making my head hurt. Previously, I was frightened when I saw my father was angered by the owner of this house, unable to say anything more.
Both my eyeballs were spinning so fast that I hadn't seen them yet. "Where did Mom go ?" I just turned around to see my dad cook.
"Dad doesn't know." My father answered my question immediately.
Hearing him I immediately silently turned back my body to see my sister. After a long time of standing, I haven't seen him at all.
"Dad, then, Liyan looked for Ana out, yes, Dad," I asked worriedly.
Instantly my father's hand stirring the cooking stopped. "Where are you looking for him ?" ask dad. "Do you know his house?" My father asked again while stirring his cooking back.
"Not all of you, Dad" I replied. "Only two houses does Liyan know her friend Ana's house." I'm looking down.
"No need! Maybe your sister will be here soon. I'm afraid, if you get sick again," said my father.
I was silent when I heard my father had rejected my offer to find my sister. "Yes Dad." I immediately moved from before him.
"Rest! Let your sister come back alone. I'm sure he's not going where?! She must be at her friend's house who comes here often ?!" my father said guess yourself.
"Then, Liyan is looking for Mom instead" I made an offer.
"Not necessary either. While your sister only Dad forbid you, let alone your mother," continued my father finished cooking quickly. "Sit on Dad's bench! It's gonna be cooking soon and I'm gonna get you your rice."
Want what else I have to do. I too with heavy steps sat on my father's bench while waiting for the food that my father would bring me.
"Liyan, you weren't a sport, were you?" my father asked me to remember and surprised me.
"No Dad," I answered immediately to see my father.
"Good! Turns out, your teacher listened to Dad's plea," my father said calmly.
I stared straight at him with a straight look. 'It turns out, my father had come to see my teacher, ' my mind immediately thought back to school. My weak body is still. What I just heard was like a deadly lightning strike.
"Dad's Assalamualaikum." There was a voice that shocked me and my father and I forgot what I was thinking.
"Wa'alaikumussalam," answered me and my father looking at the door.
"Ana was staying at my friend's house for a while. He's entering a new house. The house is so pretty, Ana forgot to go home," said my sister, feeling innocent.
My father, who heard it, looked at my brother as if he was innocent. "Ana, you should have gone home first. Don't make us here anxious to think of you" my father gently scolded. "After that, you just went there," continued my father, putting together a dirty plate.
"Once, how is Dad?! They forced Ana to come along." My sister sat down and opened her shoes. His innocent face kept looking at the shoes he opened. "Ana can't refuse Dad because they keep forcing Ana along" my sister said.
"You're not afraid, if later that person leaves you alone on the road, how? Dad's here, your sister doesn't know, your mom let alone! Where we'll look for you. Your friend's house I don't know." my father told my sister.
"If Ana doesn't come back, there's no way you can't find Ana. I'm sure you can find Ana" my sister said as if she thought my father wasn't upset.
"Assalamualaik." Suddenly the sound of greeting was heard again from the door.
I raised my head to look at the door. "Mother," I murmured slowly.
"Wa'alaikumussalam." My father answered him immediately.
My father who was still in the kitchen turned his gaze directly from the stove he cleaned saw our connecting mother who just entered.
My brother no longer spoke. He immediately went into the room with his school bag. "Aren't you coming with me in?" ask my sister as she moves.
"Later you'll be angry" I answered, glancing at my busy father.
"Dad not angry it was Brother. 'And my brother," said my sister gently inviting me to accompany him.
I shook my head to signal rejection at his invitation.
"Would, yes. Let Brother not go to my side." My sister went missing.
"Jajan," I murmured slowly. "I haven't bought a snack in a long time." I gulped looking at the snack held by my sister earlier. "I'm going to." Soon I woke up from my seat chasing my sister.
"Liyan!" I stopped seeing my father calling me.
"Yes Dad." I'm approaching my father soon.
Meanwhile, my mother who just arrived home, she stood in the kitchen looking at the cooking cooked by my father earlier. He was seen gulping because he was hungry. I think he'd love to eat that food first.
I who was standing behind him also gulped down the innate reflex saliva as I was starving as well.
Besides, my dad also looks like we feel too. So long he cooked for us so long that he also could not enjoy his cooking.
"Dad, where's the rice? Liyan was already hungry," I said cutting off my mother who was standing in front of me first.
"This, Son!" My father handed it over.
"Eat a lot so that you recover quickly," continued my mother to look at me.
"Yes, ma'am" I replied.
"Mom not eating?" I watched it while holding the plate.
"It's you taking the rice" my mother said, taking the plate.
"Sit there! Don't stand here anymore. Your rice will fall!" my dad pointed to the place we used to eat.
"Well, where's Ana's rice?" asked my sister to run to hug my dad.
