The Struggle of a Child

The Struggle of a Child
My laughter and my mother's screams

I went into the house and cleaned myself up. I stepped on the street staggering with the cold wind blowing through my tiny skin. My body is still as pale as ever. Stepping out to pick up a towel hanging in the kitchen.

" Liyan, don't take a long shower! Remember you are sick again. Take a quick shower. If not, fill your body with warm water. The warm water is in the flask." My mother told us as she followed from behind. " Remember not for long. Do you know what your father is like? If you're long. You'll be pissed off." While looking at me.

" Him, Mom!" Take the soap and hold the towel.

It was my way that was shuffling towards the well. I wash my face with soap and then rinse with cold water. The water that my father had brought. My little hand, I tried to touch the water once again. Is it cold or not? If my water isn't cold, I'd love to wet my tiny body.

But, honey, the water is so cold. My weak little body shivered the moment my hand touched the water. Remembering what my mother told me earlier that I felt the water cold. I can shower with warm water. But, like I'm lazy to turn around to take warm water.

" Sister, I'm looking for you brother. Apparently here! What brother? Shower, huh?" My sister stood with me.

" Why are you looking for a sister?" Ask me I want to know.

" There is nothing!" With a flat tone of voice.

The drops of water that soaked my face were so cold it hit my neck. The gusts of wind increasingly made the cold crackle.

" Dek, are you still here?!" Turned my face aside to look.

" Him, at home there's no friend of mine, brother!" Stand with a face.

So happy for myself. In a quiet well, quite far from home accompanied by my sister. So, it doesn't scare me.

" Yes, I have! Wait for brother, until it's over." Seeing brother. Begged.

He just nodded his head to give his answer. " I'll wait for you here." Full affirmation.

I was so excited to be accompanied by my sister. My own fear was in the well now I don't feel it anymore. Even the tiny flushes of my tiny, weak body were about to be finished. The conversation between the two of us made time so uneasy that I finally wanted to finish.

Our laughter was so crisp it sounded echoing in the square of the vast expanse.

" Sister, brother why does she shine her face like that !" My sister protested a little bit about me.

" Let's go fast, brother's cold." I said with a heavy tone of voice sounding so stiff from shivering.

Both of my eyes were staring at my sister who was shaking her head as if she had no idea what I was doing.

" Sister, change the water! Eyes glare. "It's dirty!" Staring at me sharply.

" It, deck! I know, but wait a minute. It's not dirty yet, right!" Pointing water with a fixed gaze.

Instantly the desissan of my sister's mouth sounded a little irritated. Next I washed my feet with soap. After I finished soaping everything I immediately washed it with water repeatedly.

" Sister, isn't he cold?!" While looking at the area I flushed. " Sister, what's that little towel for?" My sister wants to know. Look at the towel hanger.

" So, I wanted to polish my body with a wet cloth! Yes, yes, it is la! Brother flush-siram aja la. The monastery is cleaner." Staring at my sister and instantly turning her away saw the dipper that soaked my feet and my hands.

Hm! Scramble.

" Sister, hurry up! Maghrib, lots of mosquitoes." Beat up a mosquito that sits on his leg.

Ahaha! My little laugh accompanied my sister who was busy with her new assignment. Stand tight while accompanying me willingly. Shake - shake his body so that mosquitoes do not perch in his small body.

" Sister, let's hurry!" Shouted my sister with a little annoyance.

" Already, come!" Walk with soap and towels that I brought.

With swift and fast steps my sister walked ahead of me. My little laugh also came off seeing my sister who was so put on a sour face due to being annoyed with mosquitoes.

My sister who walked first in front of me paused for a moment to turn her face to look at me. " Tu, kaan!" He said, as if I didn't believe his invitation. Must be ready soon.

Looking at my sister's face that looked a little panicked. I can only grin. I slowly spread my weak legs. Walk behind her following.

As quickly as possible we rushed forward. Hearing the ear-splitting scream made me have to be able to swing my weak legs as fast as possible.

" Sister, come!" With thrashing.

My breath feels so tight. " Him, deck!" Running around with my toiletries.

" Your long time. Why are you guys at the well fooling around!" My mother told us by shouting.

My sister just ducked in. Meanwhile, I put my toiletries in her place.

The little towel I brought. I hung it in the towel hanger.

" Have known pain, long time!" Stand looking at me with a snort.

My ears hear. I closed as hard as I could. Holding back his fiery words.

After I put down the towel, I entered by passing him who was standing near the middle door looking at me. Highlight his sharp eyes did not blink with his tight reddened face.

The cold heat of my body that I felt now made me want to break down my body. I immediately stepped my weak foot into the room. Instantly my feet came to a halt hearing the screams of my father calling me from behind me.

" Shy!"

" Him, Dad!" Turning my body around saw my father.

" Do you want to know if your medicine is still there?!" Ask dad.

I walked over to a small table in the corner of our room wall. I took it and showed it to my father.

" Sister, sister's medicine is just that?!" Ask my sister who is suddenly standing next to me.

" liyan! tomorrow we'll get some more treatment." My father gave her back.

My pale little lips just kept quiet. Look at the medicine wrapped in plastic. Just for tonight and tomorrow morning. Thought. If there is no tomorrow. Drowning in the medicine and the reality of my life. I took a breath while putting the medicine back where it was.

The berserkness in my heart was also implied so bitter. See what I'm doing. I think I'm cured. But I have to get medicine again. My pain will have been gone from my mind all along.

" liyan! tomorrow you must prepare quickly!" My father put together clothes that had been neatly folded.

I just nodded and silently looked at my father who was so diligent. After I finished, I went back into the room to change the clothes I was wearing.

" Shy!" Call my dad back.

Hearing my father's call. " Him, Dad!" Back out.

" Say, why were you in the well for so long?" With a little hard.

Exhaling violently while twisting my brain to answer the question from my father. My mouth was locked for so long. Search words.

" I'm sorry, Dad!" It is with regret that I dare not look for any reason to answer my father's question other than to be sorry and honest.

If my father finds out that I'm good at finding excuses, then my life is over. My father will punish me severely. Not a word could save me from my father's wrath.

Seriate....
