The Struggle of a Child

The Struggle of a Child
Miss Dona came to our table

"Good morning, kids." Ms. Dona came in and sat down in her chair.

"Good morning, Mom." We immediately answered the greetings from Miss Dona.

"How are you today? Is happy?" Ms. Dona smiled faintly as she opened and took out the book from inside the bag.

"Happy Ma'am" we answered.

"Open book? Check out last night's connection page!" ma'am Dona ordered after she warmed up with a bit of a joke on us. "Your job is to read until it runs out and then summarize the important words."

The book we had on the table opened soon. I opened it and saw it with a cold head. "Widia, I've read this part." I opened the sheet and looked at the letters from beginning to end.

"If you've read it means you don't have to read it anymore" Widia said looking at the writing on the page she opened.

"I'll keep reading it again, but the part I don't understand." I repay.

"Although, you read it, but you won't be as long as I'll still read it from the beginning" Widia lamented with a pity.

"Don't you read it with me?" I asked him to repeat it.

"Yes, that's half a page." Widia was a little sorry to say it.

"But I saw you open the page faster than me" I said.

"That's just to see the next sheet, is there a drawing of it ?" Widia immediately replied.

"picture? You're still like a kid too? Ahaha!" I laughed when I heard it.

"I love to see pictures, Liyan. Who knew I was a painter" Widia said of her hidden talent.

"What do you like to paint?" ask me enthusiastically. "Wow! Turns out you have a hidden talent as well." I smile while writing.

"Did you close your eyes if I drew again?" Widia is back.

I shook my head leaving Widia struggling with her world, rereading the reading before me to understand what I was writing. My summary has filled half a page of my current book. I am still rereading and I am back to writing.

"Liyan, are you done?" widia asked broke the silence in a whisper.

"If you're done, are you done?" I asked Widia the same thing again.

"Liyan, why are you asking me back?" Widia nodded in displeasure. "I was asking you?"

"Because I still see you writing. While I'm still reading." I looked at Widia as if she was done instead of me.

"Didn't you know about me?" Widia asked me who knew her.

"Yes I know. But not all. For example, what you wrote. I didn't know you were done or not?!" I shrugged my shoulders.

"Eat him, I'm asking you a question again."

"I want to be done...". Heart-wearing. "...but still a third of a page." Show me.

"What?!" I immediately looked surprised. "It's still that way." As if I can't believe Widia's wasting her time.

Geck!

"Liyan, what's wrong with you?" Fikri knocked on my stool.

I immediately glanced at Fikri's desk. "I'm fine Fikri," I replied calming Fikri's anxiety.

"Your voice is too strong to be heard here" Fikri said. "It's a good thing, Miss Dona doesn't hear it, if it doesn't end with you, Liyan. Stand alone."

Instantly I felt immediately sad as Fikri's slightly sharp speech pierced my fragile heart. "Aren't you going to stand with me?" I framed Fikri with the question he had previously thought of.

I turned my head looking forward with a heart that was heartbreaking. Pick up the pencil and resume my stalled writing. My tongue was so bitter to see my hand writing because of Fikri's reaction pretending not to know after hearing my question.

"Children, is the task of taking notes that I have asked you to complete ?" The voice of Dona who asked surprised me.

The pencil I was holding stopped immediately looked up at Dona. "A little more, ma'am," we answered in unison.

"Quick! You have a few minutes left, soon we will change to another subject!" exclaim Miss Dona firmly.

"Mom, when you're done, where do we put our writing?" answer Septiani who made some students tickled especially Fikri who laughed heard from his stool .

Lady Dona who was seriously reading the book in front of her looked up at Septiani. "About Septiani. All this time, every task I asked was always collected," said Ms. Dona with full affirmation.

"Okay, ma'am" Septiani knotted shyly lowered her head.

Septiani's witty remarks painted my thin smile as if dispelling heartache for a moment. "Septiani is all. She likes to say it's Miss Dona."

"Yes, you're right, Liyan. Septiani, she likes Miss Dona very much" Widia said casually as she opened the book.

I saw it. "What are you done with?" Seeing Widia as if toying with the page instead of.

"Liyan, I'm tired of reading and writing. Can we ask to be written?" Widia said casually.

"Have a son! Where it may be. That's the name good on you," I said to Widia.

"That's right, the name of each other please help in trouble," Widia timpal insistent.

"But, that's in the wrong, Widia. It's true that you're in trouble, but everyone will experience it, not just you." I said.

"But, that's hard, too, Liyan." Widia is getting more and more clueless. His whispering voice was increasingly prominent showing courage so that it made Dona's mother feel as if she felt Widia's whispering voice.

"Berbe's...". I closed my voice again, undoing the intention to reply to Widia's chat after seeing the reaction of Dona's mother who seemed disturbed.

Both balls of my eyes then lowered their heads while flicking Widia's arm as a signal to tell her to be quiet immediately so that Dona ma'am does not slick and scold her.

However, Widia who did not understand my cue, she still whispered with a babble containing a flick from Dona's mom.

"Widia, why are you talking there?" peekik Bu Dona opened her lips wide. "It turns out, the voices I heard were yours."

Widia was aghast and saw me glancing slightly from the tail of her eyes. His pursed lips stirred the fear that would befall him.

My tiny body was instantly like being hit with a hard rock. I could only give a glare telling Widia to stay calm. Tail my eyes and find out what Dona's mom is. I was a little surprised as it turned out, Miss Dona walked over to our table. My heart stopped beating to see Dona's legs getting closer. I pulled my finger up onto the table and took the pencil on top of my book.

The look in Dona's eyes was so sharp that Widia's face spoke. "Are you done?" dona's mom pulled Widia's book. Both of Dona's eyes were so fixed staring at Widia's writing. "This is what you wrote." Ms. Dona returned Widia's book.

"You're Liyan, how is it?" Miss Dona it's like she wants to see my book.

Little trembling. "This is Mom" I said, handing her over in fear.
