The Struggle of a Child

The Struggle of a Child
Widia's Jeers

"So the bag is strong the fall" I said.

"It's all! Brother intentionally, right? Let me hear," he said with a sour face. "...talk out loud" he said cynically.

The longer my brother is the harder it is to fight. He's getting harder and harder. He who had been difficult to see, now more frightening and makes me bow succumb to the sake of the relationship of brothers.

"Liyan, don't forget after you've finished studying tonight you're sleeping! Don't make any more noise, Dad!" said my father .

We who were standing outside the room in front of my mother and father answered.

"Yes Dad. After we learned we slept," said my sister who acted well in front of our father.

"Yes, yeah." My father agreed. "Go, Son! You guys ate, right?" asked my father to stop his steps and turn his body to look at us.

I stopped my footsteps and turned around to see my father. " Here, Dad," I replied gently.

I dragged my feet back into the room. In accordance with his orders. My sister and I slept too. Before we go to bed we have prepared the school needs tomorrow. Especially for this exam. All the needs of the test equipment I have prepared carefully so that no one is left behind in the slightest.

My sister too, she had prepared everything as well. Even uniforms and socks have been neatly arranged on the bag that is lying on the floor.

Seeing him who was lying down first closed his eyes. I pondered considering the commotion earlier this afternoon that had occurred inside the room.

I spontaneously lowered my head, suddenly I was reminded of a sand dune bound in a plastic bag. The mound he had pushed under the bed to avoid being discovered by my father.

I want to get into bed. Take a quick glance down under the bed. The eyes were mixed darkly looking at the sand dune with blur was being eyed a little further away.

I sighed violently throwing away the fatigue that was still rolling my heart. Memories that have not been able to forget it at a glance revolve open up the bad memory. It's heartbreaking that's what's happening right now when I remember it.

Little by little I neutralized it. Throw away those bad memories. Memories are not worthy of this self. It is not worth entering our lives, brothers.

All will be this mental grief that can ruin this. I got back up and stepped towards the bed. The neat bed was already visible barrier between me and my sister.

The barrier was now transverse neatly splitting the bed into two halves. I was also very surprised to see my sister's strange behavior.

Late at night, I closed my eyes tightly.

The bed that was barred had now shifted due to being kicked.

Puk!

The barrier roll was strongly bounced down to the floor. I'm the one who jolted open both eyes to see it. Poor squint now he has fallen down. My sister's sleeping rough. Didn't realize at all that he had thrown away the barrier.

Huaah!

I also yawned shut my mouth. Then go back to sleep. Even the bouncing roll I didn't take. I turned my body to the right to sleep so that my sister and I would not see each other.

🍁🍁🍁

The morning has turned. The sound of chickens was also heard foraging. I unconsciously rubbed both eyes. Rolling to and fro just to get rid of the laziness that is lodged.

Slowly I want to drag this thing. But I don't know why? My feet and head are like something's been hitting.

I reflexively opened my eyes mixed with curiosity. I slowly opened my eyes little by little.

"Oh-ho!" I was surprised to see my sister had shifted from her place towards mine. I slowly raised my sister's hand that was holding me so she wouldn't wake up and yelled at me. My feet are also slowly patting.

I moved slowly away and let go of his embrace.

"Ups!" I gasped at the sight of her eyeballs meeting with my eyeballs. Those sharp eyeballs were so pias looking at me.

"Son't throw the bolster, yeah!" my sister's screams are shocking.

"Ana, what is it!" my father shouted from outside the room.

Puk!

"Aagh!" He also complained of the pain of crashing into a bed without a mattress.

My father no longer asks. He was silent for a moment.

As if he didn't notice it.

"Nothing, your bolster pillow suddenly dropped," I replied slowly looking at the bolster that was loosened on the floor.

"Then, why don't you take it?" tanyakanya. "Ociissss!" She shined her hands clean as if she was signaling that my skin was disgusting.

"So sleepy" I replied slowly.

"That's why Brother!" said my sister get off the bed taking a roll.

I became quiet and woke up. The bed and blanket were neatly folded.

"Yes, Deck. Brother is sleepy." I explained it back. Get down and get out.

My sister hated her so much to hear that the bolster was falling. He seemed to accuse me of throwing the barrier roll.

"Review, if you'd lied to me!" he said a grunt in annoyance, followed by his hand throwing a roll over the bed violently. Then he and I went out.

"Assalamualaikum, Dad!"

"Wa'alaikumussalam, son," answered my father to my brother who was walking behind me.

"The bath is fast, son!" my father said softly.

"Yes father" replied my brother and I who had walked.

We both disappeared in front of my father to take a shower. When we finished, we both wore school uniforms. Breakfast as usual was on the table. My father had been preparing to make a living while my mother-in-law looked preoccupied with finding her sandals.

"Dad, we go first, yes," I said farewell to my father.

My sister and I kissed the backs of my mom and dad's hands, who stood watching us leave. However, as usual my sister did not kiss the back of my mother's hand. He still hated her as much as he used to.

We both walked across the highway that we used to walk every day. Me and my sister who left both have now separated. My sister who hated me walked away from me in an instant .

"Liyan, be careful, yeah. Ahaha!" widia's boisterous taunts precede me.

I was so stunned mixed in surprise when I saw him looking at me with a grin.

I immediately lowered my head after staring at that unpleasant face. This morning I had to get ridiculed to start learning.

"Liyan, your path should not be long. Like a conch, hahaha!" his teasing turned back his head glancing at me. Cynical.

I was getting saddened to hear the insulting taunts.

"Where's sister? Why are you alone ? Someone will catch you there!" he continued with pleasure. "Later put it in plastic like a dragonfly, hihihi!" his teasing continued to laugh amusedly. "...tied in your plastic later!" Just now you know the taste," he said very rudely. "...and thrown away" he said increasingly grinning.
