My face was just silent hearing Widia's endless scolding. For a moment I kept quiet while thinking about what Widia said. I think he was right, what's wrong with me answering his question by raising my head a little bit every once in a while.
His expression today about me makes me like, dead said. I don't know what else to do and say what? It seemed, I had been besieged so that I could not dodge it again even once, giving an excuse whether it was sweet or bitter? All I know is that I'm not telling the truth. That's the reality that makes me a deep-seated dilemma.
Honesty is so minimal in me at this time because I do not want there to be misunderstandings or fights between us fellow friends involved by myself. The jumping squirrel will fall too. The parable is no doubt sometimes ringing in my ears, but unfortunately thousands of dear I still go to make it a guide in every decision.
"You don't have to cover it up. If, one day, we find out you'll be looking down even more." Widia was still standing near me. "Fikri doesn't like to see people who don't want to say what they are" Widia continued, giving me a choice.
"I'm drawing." I explained back to Widia seriously.
"Oh, at most it's a lie, isn't it?! So that I don't question her anymore" Widia chirped as she looked at me with one eye.
The two balls of my eyes immediately looked at him with the truth stored in my heart. If only I had the courage to say it I would have told the truth. I continued to widen both eyeballs looking at Widia who was continuously nagging.
"If you are not honest, we will all be punished" Widia said as she walked back and forth.
"Where are you going, anyway?" I asked looking at Widia in astonishment.
"Oh, yes. I almost forgot, it's a good thing you're reminding me, otherwise I'll be scolded by Fikri." Widia put her hand into the air and turned back to the Fikri table.
"You're telling Fikri to take something?" aska I want to know.
"Yes, Fikri told me to take the rice box," Widia replied.
"Mmmm!" Both my lips curled up to hear it.
"Why are you smiling?" Widia looked at me question markingly.
"Nothing," I answered withholding an amused laugh. "Widia, do you remember? At that time when Septiani and I brought provisions to school. Fikri said what try?!"
"Mmm, oh, yeah. Fikri said, only a bad boy brings provisions to school. Haha !" Our laughter immediately broke out filling the classroom.
"You remember Septiani's face" Widia said. We both laughed as we recalled the moment full of joking laughter.
"Yes, I remember. Septiani's face is like, an ant doused in kerosene" I said.
"And also your face at that moment was like, a snail carrying the wrong house, hahaha. Drooping withered, then looking down. Haha ! After that you quickly close your rice box and hide it in the drawer. Ptfff" Widia held back a laugh. "After that you immediately said, 'Engga ah. It's nothing, it's just a little box. I just saw it.' Widia was getting so engrossed until my face flushed and embarrassed.
"Enak once you laugh here," continued Solihin who was present like, a gust of wind.
"Where is Fikri's rice box?" solihin asked while looking at the object held by Widia.
"Did you tell Fikri to take it?" ask Widia back.
"Engga. Just so Fikri had told me to look over here," Solihin replied clearly.
"Think! Love Fikri," Widia pinta gently.
"Oga ah's. I don't want to. Later I'll be scolded again," complained Solihin away from Widia.
"Solihin!" Shouted Widia calling Solihin who had left us.
The two balls of my eyes that held in shame, looked at Solihin who had disappeared. After that I again saw the table as if this embarrassed face was clearly visible.
It was very desirable for me to take something to cover this face that had lost to shame. "Widia, you've been here too long. Fikri is angry. Who knew he was starving again?!" I told Widia to get out quickly.
"Eh, yes. She must be starving?! How is this Liyan? I'm afraid that he'll scold me." Widia who was standing staring out the door was visibly riled up while holding Fikri's rice box.
"That's because you're mocking me too much. Until you forget what's in your hand" I murmured.
"Solihin today didn't help me," Widia's whine grew increasingly frustrated. "Try Septiani who asks for help, he immediately wants." Widia looked at the nano out sadly.
"Liyan, then please accompany me to give this box to her," Widia pleaded with me.
"Sir Duan is no more. We're done and we're rested" Widia said.
"I mean, Fikri told me to take this," Widia continued as she swung the rice box into the air.
"I still don't dare," I refused to move back a bit to the wall.
"If you come with me while delivering this. Fikri will not be angry because he saw you," Widia said back.
"Where do you know Fikri isn't angry? Why is it that if I come with him he's not mad at you?" my question is getting curious.
"Because she's afraid that you're crying" Widia replied briefly.
I looked back and twisted my brain. Looking ahead while asking inwardly. Meanwhile, my hand assembled the writing utensils and closed the book.
"alright. I'll come with you but if Mr. Duan is there I go back in here again" I said firmly gesturing.
Not how long Widia kept quiet while weighing what I said. "So you're leaving me alone." Widia is back in protest.
" 'And I told you, if Mr. Duan wasn't around I would accompany you but if Mr. Duan was there I wouldn't be, accompanying you," I explained.
"Come on! Mr. Duan won't be around." Widia pulled my arm out forcefully.
Both of our legs are slowly moving while being careful. "Why is your path slow, Widia?" I asked while looking at her feet that were stepping.
"It's not that you're afraid of being seen by Mr. Duan" Widia replied as she glanced at me.
Hearing him I just kept quiet. As if I was wrong to ask him. My eyes are still looking straight ahead. Both of my arms drooped perpendicular to the side.
Meanwhile, Widia looks so relaxed as if she knows, if Fikri will not be angry because of her delay in handing over what was requested by Fikri.
"Why are you sure that if I come with you, Fikri won't scold you?" I asked to break Widia's silence for the umpteenth time.
"That's what I think." Widia immediately replied with complete confidence. "If you think what? Let's see, will Fikri dare to be angry in front of you?" Widia asked me a question I couldn't answer.
"Eitherway. Where do I know" I replied.
Widia then silently looked at me. I who widened both eyes still remained the same silent and continued walking. On the way we wanted to see Fikri. No voice called us by accident.
"Liyanu, lyan,.Widia!" He shouted from the opposite direction.
Jolted me and Widia also stopped the step. Our heads also reflexively rotate towards the voice plug.
"Fikri," we both muttered as we met a glance. "We've come a long way here to step it turns out he's already in the cafeteria" Widia said with a slight annoyance.
"That means he won't scold you," as I turned my body towards the canteen.
"Why do you say that now, Liyan?" widia asked to look at me in surprise.
"In the cafeteria there are a lot of people. Wherever possible, he dares to scold you, yes, he must be ashamed," I replied.
