The Struggle of a Child

The Struggle of a Child
The Night That Still Rumbles

My father wanted to do the prayer. Walked straight to where I stood. I'm getting more panicked. My breath is getting irregular. My heart felt like it was going to be dislodged but I had to keep my face as relaxed as possible so that my father could not find the answer to the question in his mind.

" Shy!" Call my father to look at me suspiciously.

"Yes, Dad." I said by concluding a slight faint smile at my father.

"Where's your sister? Why is there no sound?" Ask my dad to switch the conversation. My father who was still standing looked at my face suspiciously. Still looking at me sharply and both eyes also noticed my movements.

Hearing my father's question about my sister. I was silent with a face full of question marks. My mind began to remember my sister who felt strange to me. As long as I was arguing with my mother, why didn't my sister get out of the room?

"Dad, she said she wanted to go to the room." I said to my father with a worried face and mind. " A minute dad! I tried.." I stopped, immediately turning my body. Listen to what my father will say next.

" Let's find! Find your sister see you." My father went into his room to perform Maghrib prayers.

I watched my father disappear from before me. I then walked towards the room to look for my sister whom he said earlier, she wanted to enter the room.

In front of the door of our room that was closed only with curtains. I tried to bring my right ear closer to the curtain. Not a single moment did I hear any sound from inside the room. I was so curious and immediately opened the curtain that was in front of me. Instantly, both my eyeballs darted and were shocked. I who was just after being harried by my mother was so upset and panicked to see my sister was not in the room. I was so anxious to see the clock turn the wall. The number inside the wall clock so corresponds to the empty vacuum outside the house, which indicates the twilight is getting darker.

I stepped back with great disappointment in seeing my sister back. My father, who was in the room while waiting for Maghrib prayer, calmly chanted the sacred verses that were spoken from his lips that looked old.

My tiny, trembling body walked around the house with both balls of my eyes spinning looking at my sister. My breath feels tight. I was forced to breathe fresh air around our house.

" Assalamualaikum."

From behind me. I heard a greeting from the front door. I suddenly turned my body towards the sound of the greeting I heard. For a moment I was stunned to see my sister so relaxed coming in.

" Sister, why didn't you answer my greetings?" Ask my sister with an innocent face. She was so attractive that her little lips were walking while looking at me. " Sister, where's the father?" My sister while walking to pick up her school bag which is lying in the corner of the wall

my dad's room.

" In the room." I firmly answered my sister's question which made me frown.

" Where are you?" Ask me so annoyed.

" Sister, I'm from the outside. Dad always makes a fuss with him." Said my sister in a slightly raised voice .

I who stood saw my sister just silent while putting on a sour face. I already know who? What my sister meant by "her" was none other than our surrogate mother.

" Sister, why didn't you answer my greetings earlier! If I had known for a while, my brother would have been scolded." Said my sister who walked beside me with a glance at me.

I am innocent and always afraid to answer my brother's greetings with weight and slow. "Wa'alaikumussalam."

" Oh, my sister, where is my sister's favorite mother? Why doesn't he exist? Is it gone?" Ask my sister while checking her school bag.

" It." I said firmly.

"Ha! Where are you going, brother?" For a moment he stopped.

"Keep I know, brother?" Ask with

I just nodded my head in response to her question.

" Sister time doesn't know! She's my sister's favorite mother." With my sister while looking at me for a glance.

My sister looks so cute. Now he turned his face back towards me.

" Brother! Brother's crying, huh?" Ask my sister who looks at me fixedly.

I was surprised to be silent. Instantly, I spun my eyeballs while neutralizing everything. My sister was standing behind me right at my father's little dinner table.

"Yes, right, sister! Big brother crying, right? Ask my sister back. Increasingly probing.

" Suffer." I who stood up occasionally threw my gaze in all directions.

"But, really! Why are you having a sibling's eyes?" Ask my sister to walk back and look at me.

" Related, huh! I just sleep and want to sleep." I said with the toilet.

" Uh! Brother want to sleep? " Task my brother spontaneously. "Don't brother! I'll be angry." Staring at me by putting his eyebrows together.

I also suppressed my intentions weakly. I threw my body on the floor. My already heavy eyes tormented me so much today. The drowsiness that was so heavy I had to endure remembering my sister who was going to complain to my father.

"Dek, just a moment! Don't tell dad, yeah!" I said in a voice pleading with my sister.

"Let's see it later." My sister said so loudly. As if giving me a threat that could oppress me.

I can't do anything either. My sister can't fight me because my dad's always by her side all the time. My father always heard what my sister told him about me. Whether I am healthy or sick.

To my own father he disliked sick children who slept all day. That's my sister's weapon for me so I don't sleep in the reckless hours.

My father always told my sister. Often that's what I hear when I'm in the house. Hence, if my sister saw me sleepy she must have issued her threat to me.

" Sister, brother didn't teach?" Ask my sister who hung her bag.

" Sister doesn't know the deck." I said while looking at my brother hanging his bag.

My sister and I were talking with a funny laugh after we had a fight. Suddenly, there was a leg sura stepping quickly. Me and my sister who were in the place suddenly fell silent and looked at each other. My face immediately turned panicked. I was silent a thousand languages heard footsteps towards the door of our house.

My sister who was standing in front of the bag she was hanging was staring cynically. It was as if my sister knew the footsteps leading to our house.

My sister also opened her eyes. Turned his face and twisted his body.

" Sister, that must be that woman! My sister said sniffly looking at me." Your beloved mother!" My sister said slowly.

I'm silent. Looking at my sister while remembering the incident earlier. How he rebukes me so much. Both of my eyes stared blankly ahead. My trembling body now feels cold. I, too, clenched my lips tightly while grasping my fingers squeezed them slowly.

Seriate.....
