How Will You Say Goodbye?

How Will You Say Goodbye?
SEASON II - Because it's not you

For more than a week Ammar was admitted to the hospital until he was finally allowed to go home. Ammar did not waste time because his work had been neglected.

Ammar decided to go straight to work. As he entered his office, he saw a young woman sitting at the table in front of his room. It looks very neat and pleasing to the eye.

Ammar frowned in wonder but he approached the woman. "Sorry, who are you?" ask Ammar.

The woman got up from her seat when she realized that Ammar was already standing in front of her. He took a respectful attitude with a slight bowing of the body.

"Good morning, sir. I'm Karin. I'm your new Assistant" he said.

Ammar was silent and thought, he did ask his Secretary to find a personal Assistant, because he did need it to facilitate his business, but who would have thought if his personal assistant was a woman?

"I've heard from your Secretary, if today you're going into the office, So, I'm coming before you arrive." The woman smiled wryly.

Ammar was still speechless, his expression unreadable.

The young woman spoke again. "For the past few days, I've been studying your schedule and activities, sir. I've understood what you need and what you like and don't like." He explained.

Ammar finally nodded. "Alright, do your job well" said Ammar. Ammar did not hear the young woman's answer again, he chose to pass into her room.

Arriving in his room, he immediately called the channel that connected with the office secretary room.

"To my room now!" tell him as soon as the call is connected.

Before long, the Secretary entered the office into Ammar's room.

"What are you looking for me?" asked Heni-Sang the secretary who arranged Ammar's work schedule.

Ammar looked at Heni. "You're the one who hired a personal assistant for me?"

"Yes, Sir. Is something wrong?"

"I want an Assistant ready to help me at any time. If a woman is my Assistant, I'm afraid she won't be able to work certain hours when I need her help" Ammar said.

"Sorry, Sir. You didn't say if the Assistant had to be a man. I thought, Karin is the best in her field," replied Heni nervously.

"What's that?" ask Ammar sarcas.

"Y-yes sir, he's competent and professional. I saw his background. He used to be the Personal Assistant to the Director of the owner of the Mine company."

"Why did he quit his old job?"

"For one reason or another, sir." replied Heni absurdly.

"Huh? I want to know why."

"That's Karin's pirivation, sir. You can ask directly."

Ammar let out a heavy sigh, "I'll give it a chance and assess its performance, if it doesn't fit my criteria, then quickly find it instead." Said Ammar lazily. "And make sure it's a man" he continued.

"Good sir." replied Heni quickly.

"Get out."

And Heni immediately departed from before the superior. He was afraid of being targeted by Ammar's anger because he read an unhappy flash from Ammar's eyes, but thankfully Ammar was willing to give Karin a chance to work because Heni knew Karin needed this job so badly.

...🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸...

"How was your day?" joana asked Ammar, they are currently making a video call. Ammar looked at the face of the woman he missed on his flat screen while putting on the brightest smile.

"Not too good." Ammar changed his expression to smile wryly.

Joana frowning. "Why is that? Still feeling sick? I told you to postpone your work first." said Joana in a spoiled voice. Ammar was very happy to hear that.

Ammar smiled warmly. "It's not that" he said. "I'm not very good because I haven't met you yet." Ammar chuckled at the end of his sentence.

It could be that the man is flirting with his busyness.

"Jinx.." Joana hissing. "That's because you're short of people to bully." joana sneered.

"There's a lot of people here. Everything I can bother if I want, it's just that it feels different."

"Different?"

"Well, because it's not you." replied Ammar quickly as he chuckled at the end of his sentence.

While Joana was seen shaking her head at Ammar's words.

"Jo, can I ask you something?" ask Ammar.

"What?" said Joana.

Ammar smiled in anguish. "Give me some spirit today" he said.

"The spirit of Ammar." Joana showed her clenched hand as if it were her spirit form to Ammar.

"Not so,"

Ammar let out a long sigh, "Give me a call dear,"

Joana gawked, what else is this?- she thought. Ammar is very difficult to guess, sometimes Joana feels Ammar is very mature and understands his mindset which is also no longer a teenage girl. But, sometimes Ammar is also like a spoiled little boy, likes to tease him and now? Ammar even wants to be called with a call of love.

"Do you have to?" ask Joana.

"Yes if you love me." Amamr said as he played his eyeballs.

Hearing Ammar's answer makes Joana tick. "Alright, good job, Honey." said Joana with a dead red face.

Ammar was surprised that Joana granted his request, but Ammar thought it would be very difficult to persuade Joana, he thought Joana would instead mock him due to the ridiculous request.

"Repeat .." he said.

"Happy work, Honey" said Joana again.

Ammar smiles. "What did you call me?"

"You mean Honey?" Joana was confused while Ammar chuckled while holding his stomach. It's too funny for Ammar who is no longer a teenager. Joana's call was like a teenager.

"You laughing at me?" joana's voice rose by an octave.

"Bu-not. I, I don't mean it." Ammar chuckled.

"Yes, I'm taking back my words."

"No. I like it. I just want you to repeat it again."

Joana rolled her eyes lazily.

"Oh...Come on, Honey!" ammar said with a smile.

"Well, I hung up. You keep teasing me." said Joana.

"Wait, I didn't do it. Your call really excited me, my day became more cheerful."

Joana shook her head as Ammar continued to chuckle loudly.

"Sorry, Sir. It's your lunch." Suddenly the voice of a woman is heard on the sidelines of their conversation. The woman was carrying a tray containing Ammar's room food.

Ammar saw a silent Joana across the street. "Awhile," he said. Ammar put his phone on the desk without disconnecting the call.

"Just put it on the table" said Ammar pointing to a table flanked by two chairs in his room.

The woman put her tray there and looked back at Ammar.

"Is there anything else I can help you with, sir?" tanyakanya.

"No, thank you Karin" said Ammar.

Karin nodded and wanted to withdraw from Ammar's office.

"Emm, Karin?"

Karin turned, "Yes, sir?" the answer.

"Other times knock on the door just came into my room."

Karin nodded but her mouth was making a sound. "So I've knocked on the door, but you don't seem to hear it" he said.

"Oh..." Ammar realized earlier he was too engrossed with Joana to hear the sound of knocking on the door.

"I'm sorry, sir."

Ammar nodded faintly, his hand again took the phone that was still connected to Joana's video call.

"That's who?" Just now Ammar showed a face to the flat screen, the voice asked Joana immediately interrogated him.

"That's my assistant" said Ammar flatly.

Joana thunts. "Your assistant is a woman?" ask her in an unhappy tone.

Jesus, as expected, Joana wouldn't be happy to know this.

"Yes, why?"

"It's okay, I think your assistant's a man." Joana chuckles tasteless.

"Your assistant is also a woman, right?" seductive Ammar, he wanted to divert his lover's displeasure in a joking way.

"Yes, I will soon replace him with a male assistant" said Joana making Ammar glare.

"I'll pick you up later in the afternoon" said Ammar.

...Seriate......
