"Don't give him any more hope." Kinan.
Rey shakes. "I'll take responsibility for his life. I promise."
Kinan sighed, he twisted his body to sit on the edge of the bed.
"Mas, I've forgiven you. Go back to Indonesia!" Said Kinan softly after the silence was created just a moment ago.
Rey approached and sat down beside Kinan. "Thank you if you've forgiven me." Rey said in the lowest voice.
"Hmm, it's done, right?" Kinan turned his head towards Rey and looked at her seriously, Rey shook her head. "Not yet." Said.
"Then what else? You want me to forgive you, and I did, right?" Kinan said in frustration. Rey held onto both of Kinan's shoulders, trying to calm the woman down.
"I told you I'd be responsible, Ki! Now be honest with me one thing!" Urge Rey. He took the woman's hands and held them. There was no rejection, just that Kinan did not want to look into the young man's eyes, he seemed to know what Rey would ask next.
"The kid you're carrying is my son, right?"
Kinan stared in every direction, not daring to look into the eyes of Hazel who demanded to tell the truth.
"Not." He spoke slowly, barely making a sound.
"Look at me and tell me the truth, Ki!" Rey pulls the woman's chin back to look at her and Rey finds Kinan's eyes wet with her own tears.
"There's a lot of things I have to take care of, I'm going to leave all that business just to wait for your answer!" Rey exhaled slowly, then continued speaking. "I'll wait for the answer here!" Just keep Rey on again.
"The child I bear is my son!" Kinan hugged his stomach possessively and Rey clucked in annoyance.
Rey got up from her position and stepped towards the sofa she had sat on earlier. He laid his body comfortably on the sofa even though his long legs had to pass through the arm of the sofa.
"What are you doing, Mom?"
"Waiting for you honestly!" Rey closed her eyes. Kinan wanted to protest but the knock on his bedroom door shocked him.
"Mas, get out of there before anyone sees you!" Kinan. Rey shook her head, she crossed her chest and kept her eyes closed as if she was going to sleep well there.
"Bag.." Kinan's insistence was accompanied by the sound of knocking on the door that was getting stronger.
"Miss, are you okay inside?" The voice of the servant from outside called out to Kinan.
"Yes, I'm fine! I'll be in the toilet soon." Pekik Kinan answered the waiter. Rey smiled obliquely at Kinan's lies.
"Mas, I'll open the door, I don't care if you get caught!" Kinan and Rey remained relaxed.
"Yes already." Said Rey indifferently.
Kinan became upset himself. "What do you want?" Kinan asked the sealed Rey.
"The answer was my son or not?" Rey changed her position to sit.
"I'll open the door!" Threatens Kinan to scare Rey, when in fact he is also afraid that Rey's whereabouts will be seen by the waiter.
"No, let me introduce myself!" Rey Ejek. Rey got up and Kinan was surprised. He's even more terrified if Rey's whereabouts are known to the maids in this house.
"This is your son! If you're satisfied please hide!" Kinan gave up and Rey smiled winning. The young man got out of there and hid himself in the bathroom.
Kinan hurriedly opened the door of his room and found the maid waiting for him at the door, carrying a tray containing Kinan's dinner.
"I'm sorry I was in the toilet!" Said Kinan nervously. He was afraid that Rey's whereabouts were known to the servants and the bodyguards.
"Yes Miss, I'll go in and arrange your dinner. And also they want to meet and check your situation!" The waiter said, pointing to two bodyguards standing in the living room.
Kinan nodded. He stepped out of the room, while the waiter went inside and arranged his food on the table in the room. During this time, Kinan never wanted to eat at the dining table, because he always ate alone at the dining table, making him more tasteless.
Kinan met the two bodyguards in the guest room, his heart wondering why they wanted to see him. Kinan was sure it had something to do with Rey and he became nervous about having to make excuses now.
"What's wrong?" Kinan asked the two strong-bodied men. One was bald-headed and the other one looked drizzly with a slightly long haircut that was ponytailed.
"Is Miss okay? The psychiatrist's home?" Ask one of them who has bald head.
"Oh sorry Miss, we didn't see her return because there was a little problem earlier." Answer again.
Kinan nodded and did not bother about it.
"Well, I can go back to my room, right?" Kinan asked looking at the two people.
"Sure, Miss." Answer the other one.
Kinan turned around to return to his room but his steps stopped as one of the bodyguards spoke again.
"Did your psychiatrist come home with his assistant?"
"Assistant?" Kinan looked confused and did not understand what these two people meant.
"Yes the lady came with a man, she said it was her assistant. Is his assistant coming home too?"
"Yes, of course." Kinan answered nervously. "The assistant went home with him. There's no way his assistant would stay here. You know what, right?" Kinan tried to review the smile at the end of his sentence, then the two people nodded in understanding.
"Alright, Miss. Sorry to interrupt your break. Good night!"
"Well, good night!" Kinan walked slowly back to his room and felt relieved as if he had finished the police interrogation.
Kinan locked the door of his room and sat back on the edge of the bed. He thought about the guard's question about Joana coming with his assistant. Then he remembered Joana's strange behavior this afternoon.
"Dorrr!" Rey's voice surprised Kinan. Kinan looked at the young man with a strange look while hiding his shock.
"What's wrong?" Rey asked who saw Kinan looking at her with a different look.
"You're disguised as Joana's assistant?" Kinan squinted at Rey and Rey automatically nodded while stroking her own nape.
"You're really-" Kinan did not continue.
"Here you go, don't talk about other women. I want to talk about us."
"We?"
"Yes, Us!" Rey looked at Kinan with an anxious look.
"Don't look at me like that, Mom! And there's nothing to talk about us."
"Okay, maybe you need to eat now, eat!" Rey pointed towards the table that was already filled with food with her chin, hinting for Kinan to sit there.
"Then you?"
"I'll eat if you offer." Rey said with a smile.
"Eat, I'll sleep!" Kinan cuek.
Rey cleared her throat before saying her sentence.
"Is it too presumptuous if I want to stay here?" The young man's voice sounded solemn but flat-pitched.
Kinan. "Whatever." Her speech. Kinan decided to sleep without touching the dinner that the waiter had delivered earlier. He also did not know how to. Because if Rey doesn't stay the night, they both have to figure out how to get the young man out of the house without the servant's and the bodyguards' knowledge.
Rey smiled slantingly, sitting on the sofa while turning on the television. His relaxed position as if there was no burden made Kinan even more wrong. Again Rey could only mengu lum smile to see Kinan who had covered his entire body with a blanket.
"Good sleep, Kinanty!" Said slowly. There was a burning feeling in her heart now, knowing that Kinan was pregnant with her child. A feeling that is hard to interpret. Especially Rey was happy to see Kinan who was starting to soften at her.
