How Will You Say Goodbye?

How Will You Say Goodbye?
SEASON II - Everything is not easy

Ammar grabbed Joana's hand with one hand. Unexpectedly anyone, the man kneeling before Joana made Joana flabbergasted by her actions.

Not only Joana, some people left their tables also saw the action of Ammar. The two sons of Ammar stood and they looked at each other and looked in wonder at his father. They look forward to what Ammar will do next.

"Ammar, what are you doing?" Whisper Joana when Ammar clasped his hand and the grip of the girl's finger was placed in front of Ammar who knelt. Meanwhile, Joana herself is still sitting confused in her chair.

Ammar smiled knot. "I'm sorry if I have to say it here. I'm gonna propose to you." Ammar said softly, his eyes full of desire and hope.

Joana closed her mouth. Shocked, happy, scared and sad mixed into one. Joana did not want to blame Ammar for this action. He felt lucky because the person he was in was now proposing to him. But, Joana has her own thoughts that are difficult for her to express in front of her lover.

Ammar was still waiting for Joana to speak, she was silent in her position that was pointing towards the woman's face.

Joana glanced left and right. He doesn't want to embarrass Ammar here. Feeling that not everyone was aware of Ammar's actions, Joana immediately said to Ammar. "We need to talk, not here." Said. Joana pulls her hand from Ammar's grasp while walking gracefully out of the Ballroom.

Ammar was surprised by Joana's reaction beyond his prediction. He was too confident, he thought everything would be easy and go well and Joana accepted. That's Ammar's thinking, but who would have thought Joana wanted to talk to him four eyes. Is this a subtle rejection?

Ammar looked at his two dumbly-witted children when he saw her.

"Papa and Aunt Jo got into a fight?" Lesya asked with a plain face.

Ammar smiled at a glance. "No dear. You guys stay here, continue eating. Papa's gonna talk to Aunt Jo."

Lesya and Shaka nodded.

"Don't go anywhere" said Ammar, then Ammar pointed to the side where Rey and Kinan were. "There, there's Aunt Kinan and Om Rey. If old papa comes back, ask them to call Papa." Ammar explained.

"Yes, Pa.." said Shaka obediently.

Ammar walked over to Rey and Kinan, where he chatted for a while to leave Shaka and Lesya to them because he had to catch up with Joana who had left the Ballroom. Rey and Kinan understood and then they watched the two children under surveillance.

The night wind blows softly, the moon was timid to show its form, only half of which is visible with the twinkling of stars adds to the peace created in that place.

There were only a few people there, Kevin happened to reserve this hotel for his personal needs, including the swimming pool that was on the left of the Ballroom where the event took place. Everyone who was invited, was still busy finishing the dinner session. So that only a few people are outside with their own interests. Some seem to be calling, and most are waiters.

Including those lovers who are now there to talk about things that are on their minds.

After finishing his son's business, Ammar searched for Joana's whereabouts. It turns out that Joana was standing outside the building, precisely in front of a swimming pool decorated with small candles floating on it.

Joana looked far ahead, she was thinking about something. Ammar can guess it must have something to do with what Ammar did.

"Joe.."

Joana looked back and found Ammar standing not far from her.

Ammar looked at Joana's reddened eyes. He feels something is wrong and he already knows that Joana is hiding something from him.

"Ammar, i..."

"Are you not ready for my decision?" Because Ammar and Joana just kept quiet while folding their hands in the chest, their eyes looked up at the sky.

"You really surprised me." Joana said, but her tone sounded cold.

Ammar pulled Joana's arm slowly, trying to position them against each other. He held onto both of Joana's shoulders and looked seriously at the woman's face.

"What are you thinking?" Ask Ammar. Actually, he can guess Joana's attitude is always like this when talking about marriage. Ammar is aware of his shortcomings and mistakes in the past, Ammar does not know what Joana keeps in his heart. But, Ammar wanted to hear that reason from Joana's own mouth. Ammar wants to know Joana's judgment about him, because Ammar is serious about his relationship.

Joana shakes.

"Look, I know you're worried about marriage. Your reasons were about your past. Xander is a shadow that cannot escape because you are his obsession. Now, what else?" Ammar smiled wryly.

Joana cast another look, she did not dare to look Ammar in the eye.

"Jawab Jo, give me an explanation." Said Ammar again.

"Ammar, I think this is all too soon." Joana said with a sure tal tone. It seemed that his words were full of doubt or even just a cliche reason.

Ammar laughed when he heard it.

"You mean I lied?" Ask Joana while she glances.

"Well, you're lying. What are you covering up?"

"Nothing." Joana Struggles. Joana has no intention of lying, she is only afraid of hurting Ammar if she is honest that she is afraid that her family knows Ammar's true status. Joana is afraid Ammar is offended.

"You're saying this is too soon? What's too fast, Jo?" He asked, "We are both adults. Not teenagers and we're both mature." Ammar cupped Joana's cheek so that the face did not shy away from her unsheathed gaze.

Joana clasped Ammar's hands on her cheeks, letting go slowly.

"Get's split up." Joana said in a firm tone, making Ammar's eyes perfectly rounded.

"What??" Ammar's voice was choked. How could Joana make this decision, instead of answering Ammar's question about what she harbored, instead Joana broke off their relationship on the side.

Joana tried hard, to confess to her parents she could not. Thinking of his Daddy who will have a heart attack due to him being in a relationship with a man with the status of a two-child widower, Joana was very afraid. It's better this ends before both parents know and it's fatal.

"Jo, pull your words. How can you end this." Lirih Ammar did not understand.

Joana shakes. It's like he's at an intersection. If it is straight he can die then he prefers to turn, although he does not know what he will find when turning later. That is the parable of his feelings at this time. She would rather end than continue if it added more trouble for her parents.

Ammar's body decays, he sits on his knees in front of Joana. The man was downcast, all was not in accordance with his expectations that thinking all would be easy.

"What's because it doesn't fit your shadow? Do you wish there was a romantic dinner just for the two of us?" Guess Ammar.

"No.." Joana's voice choked, she wanted to cry, especially seeing Ammar's situation like this.

"Does this have anything to do with my status?" Guess Ammar again and Joana shed her tears. Ammar did not see that, because now his gaze was staring into the clear water in the pond.

"You didn't answer, I assume it means yes." Ammar said it was getting worse.

"I have to go home." Said Joana trying to strengthen her heart, but she wanted to go home soon because she wanted to cry.

"Alright, I accept your decision." Ammar. The man did not cry, he was tired of crying, he had fallen and been sick many times. He had even felt the most regret in his life before and now he was trying to be okay even though Joana's rejection shook his heart and feelings.

Joana turned around, but in the middle she stopped her steps because she heard Ammar's voice chuckling.

"I thought you were the one who treated my wounds. But it turns out I was wrong, you're chalking the wound back in my life." Ammar muttered after that he chuckled loudly. Joana heard the murmur, while Ammar himself thought Joana had gone from there.

Joana watched Ammar from her distance. The position of Ammar turned to Joana and Ammar no longer care about the existence of Joana there or not there.

Ammar took out his ring box, took the ring and kissed it wholeheartedly. He laughed as he looked at his ring.

Unexpectedly, Ammar throws his ring into the pool in front of him. The sight did not escape Joana's vision, making Joana shed her tears.

Ammar opened his coat, pulling the original tie neatly attached to his neck. She looks screwed over Joana's refusal but she still doesn't shed tears.

Joana actually did not have the heart, but anyway she had to go from there.

When Ammar turned around, Joana had completely abandoned him. Ammar pulled out his cell phone, looking for a name there.

"Rey, please take my kids out, I'm not going to go into that party again. I'll take Lesya and Shaka home."

After hanging up the phone, Ammar stepped foot into his car while printing a suit that he no longer wears.
