How Will You Say Goodbye?

How Will You Say Goodbye?
SEASON II - Lost

3 Months later.

There have been no more meetings between Ammar and Joana since that night. Joana's gone somewhere. Several times Ammar looked for him to the practice, but it turned out that the place had changed course and was replaced by Doctor Specialist Obgyn.

Ammar went to Doni's Mansion, and Joana wasn't there. Even Ammar heard the news that Joana's parents had returned to London the day before she came.

Ammar felt that Joana was completely avoiding him and indeed wanted this breakup.

Ammar did not break the charcoal, he looked for the whereabouts of the woman in the apartment building that Joana had lived in. But Joana hasn't been there in a long time. That's what Ammar knew from the janitor who cleaned the apartment unit every day.

Maybe Joana's back in London with her parents?

Ammar lived his days as usual, nothing changed, only his heart was very sick. He tries to be strong and does not want to be destroyed like when Kinan left his life.

Maybe his fate was indeed as an abandoned man?

Ammar did not grieve, did not mourn but every night he pondered to think about the location of his mistake.

Every morning, even before the sun rose to the surface, Ammar had arrived in Vienna, his late first wife. He came to the tomb, telling stories there as if Vienna was listening to him from the ground.

Anyone who sees him there, then people will know that he is not okay. But, when he returned to his routine, he would behave normally. It is as if it has no burdens and no mind.

"Today, where have you been after this?" ask Ammar to his personal assistant.

Karin frowned in surprise, she had never heard Ammar ask such a thing. Especially about Karin herself.

"Sa-say is going back to my apartment, sir." replied Karin.

Ammar nodded.

"What's okay?" he asked again, his expression unreadable, just flat as usual.

"Good taxi" said Karin briefly.

"Alright, get your stuff done! I'll take you home." Ammar stood up and walked out of his room.

Karin fell silent, she thought of Ammar's strange demeanor. Indeed, Karin admired Ammar for his leadership. During these two months, Karin secretly noticed him. But Karin never learned of Ammar's personal life. Although he was Ammar's Assistant, Ammar always associated Karin only in work problems and no more.

Ammar's offer to drive him home, a kind of cool breeze that hit him, making the tip of his lips pulled up, Karin immediately tidied up her luggage, then attached the bag on the shoulder. Remembering Ammar's words that are like a word and do not want to be denied.

"Come in" said Ammar as Karin stood at the door of his car. I don't know what the man had in mind, but Karin felt this time Ammar had privileged her.

Karin entered and installed a seatbelt, she glanced at Ammar who was also sitting behind the wheel.

"Where's your Apartment?" asked Ammar, Karin also gave an address. Ammar's car immediately moved and darted across the street.

Arriving in front of the apartment building, Karin began to swoop, she could not bear to be silent during the trip.

"Thank you, sir. Get here." said Karin sungkan.

Ammar nodded. "Can I have coffee at your apartment?" ask Ammar without further ado. Karin gawked with her mouth open, she actually wanted to offer something similar but of course she felt bad to start with.

"Please, sir" said Karin.

Ammar cars also entered the basement, they climbed the elevator to stop on one floor which is the location of the Karin Apartment unit.

Karin pressed her password and let Ammar in.

"I'm sorry if the situation here is not comfortable for you" said Karin sungkan.

Ammar only nodded at a glance and Karin let him sit down.

"I'll make coffee for Baoak" he said.

Ammar agreed and began to pay attention to the decoration of Karin's simple apartment when the woman went to the kitchen.

Karin's apartment is quite spacious although not luxurious, the equipment is neat and it seems that she is indeed a clean woman.

"This, Sir. Please drink it." said Karin while putting a cup of coffee on the table.

"Thank you." replied Ammar, he drank his coffee slowly because the coffee was still hot.

Karin felt like things were getting worse. He was confused about starting the conversation and he wondered why Ammar wanted to go to his apartment.

Ammar seemed silent as he occasionally sipped his coffee, it seems he really enjoyed the coffee made by Karin.

"Emm, Sir?" Karin started to speak.

"What's wrong?" ask Ammar.

"Why do you want to come here?" asked Karin doubtfully.

"Bu-not that, sir. Of course, of course you can." replied Karin quickly.

"Then?"

"It's not like the usual Father." explained Karin.

Ammar shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know what to do to take my mind off" she replied.

"What do you really think?" ask Karin curiously.

Ammar looked at him while chuckling. "You seriously want to know what I'm thinking?"

Karin nodded, she was consumed by the charm of Ammar who had just laughed in front of her. Only once did he see Ammar express himself, all this time Ammar was too serious and flat, so Karin was difficult to see his chuckling face.

Ammar smiled wryly. "You'll get dizzy if you know my thoughts." Ammar pointed to his own head. "Here, too much of it makes me want to explode" Ammar said.

Karin smiled hearing that. He did not expect Ammar to behave like this in front of him. Moreover, this is not a conversation about work. Makes Karin wonder and wonder who Ammar really is.

"May I ask you about something outside of work?" ask Amamr seriously.

"Yes, Sir. Please." replied Karin.

"I was wondering why you quit your old job, when I asked Heni, he said it was your personal problem so he didn't explain more fully. What's up?"

"That's because I got harassment from my boss" Karin said, bowing.

"Oh. I'm sorry if I had to remind you of that."

"it's okay, it's over" Karin said briefly.

Ammar. "Do you live here alone?" ask Ammar.

"Yes, sir."

Ammar nodded. "Alright, the coffee's over. I'm going back. Thank you." said Ammar as he stood up from his seat.

Karin nodded, she walked ahead of Ammar, opening the exit for the Boss.

"Sir.." call Karin when Ammar has just stepped out the door.

Ammar. "Yes?"

"If you have a lot of thoughts and do not know where to go, you can stop here to just drink coffee." bargained Karin with a downcast look.

"I'll think about it." replied Amamr. Ammar patted Karin's shoulder gently and passed from there.

Karin was still unmoved at the door, not expecting what she had just experienced with Ammar. It's all beyond his shadow. He had once imagined being close to Ammar, but it was unlikely to be this intelligent.

...🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸...

"Do you know of his whereabouts?" ask someone over the phone.

Ammar sighed, "I don't know. I really lost it." replied Ammar.

His opponent immediately replied. "What will you do next if he doesn't find it?"

"That's it, Rey, but I always remember the message. He wants me to be better, not repeat the same mistakes and keep my children" Ammar replied.

"I'm in favor of that, man" Rey said from across the street.

"I have to how? Do I need to get him out of my heart and mind? It can't be." replied Ammar riled.

"You better take a break from your routine. Take the kids on vacation, maybe it will help you not to stress." Rey suggested.

"I'll think about it. Does Kinan really not know where Joana is?"

"Kinan and the others are affected because of your actions, they also do not know the whereabouts of Joana and do not get news anymore" Rey sneered.

"Yes, say my apologies to all of them" replied Ammar. "But it's impossible if Sinta and Doni don't know where Joana is. They must have hidden it from me on purpose." added Ammar.

"Maybe, stop. But, can't you just move on to another woman?" rey's advice, more precisely teasing Ammar.

"Damnfuck!" objurgation. "You think it's that easy! I'm in a relationship with Joana not kidding!!! I was serious with him and he suddenly disappeared. You think I'm a teenager who just thinks it's a distraction?" Ammar cursed Rey all out.

Rey chuckles across there. "Yes, yeah, yeah. Looks like you really need a vacation" he replied and Ammar only replied with discordant obstinacy.
