How Will You Say Goodbye?

How Will You Say Goodbye?
A new alien life

The man who was no longer young was tapping his fingers on the wooden table in front of him. He was waiting for the arrival of the son. A while ago, Rey said she would come to see him, maybe this has something to do with the job that Rey has been in lately.

The sound of the door handle being pressed from the outside sounded in his ear, a moment later the son was already visible in the doorway. Rey bent her face, not usually. No, it's been a long time since Rey's been serious about her job.

Suddenly the middle-aged man frowned. Something is wrong with his son's behavior today. Does this have anything to do with that woman again? But didn't he and Rey have an agreement not to talk about Kinan again until it was time for Rey and Kinan to be reunited?

"Is there a problem with your job?" Papa Rey looked at the child with a probing look. He wanted to make sure if his estimate was wrong.

"Not that, Pa."

"Then?" The man got up, and walked over to Rey. Now he's convinced that this isn't about Rey's job.

Rey took a breath while exhaling it slowly. He stared intently at the father who was now standing before him. Instantly, the room that was given this cooler was hot, just because Rey was crowded to bring out everything she had been craving for the past few months.

"Pa, I have to meet Kinan" Rey said after a moment of silence.

The man raised his eyebrows next to her. Sure enough Rey wanted a meeting with the woman, as expected.

"Rey, didn't we agree, you wouldn't talk about her, let alone meet her before things calmed down. Papa promised to bring you together. But not now!" Said the father with a deep look at Rey.

"When, Pa? I can't keep this up. Pretending not to think about it. Acting like he no longer wants it in front of everyone. Though my head is filled only with Kinan every day."

"Patience a little more. It's only been a few months."

"Kh..." Rey clucked her tongue. "What is Papa really planning now? I've obeyed all Papa's will, I've worked hard. I've proven my abilities."

The man walked away from Rey, his gaze staring out the window. Looking at the green grass in his backyard.

"Rey, you should know. Ammar is currently searching for Shirly's whereabouts."

"Shy?" Rey frowned because the name felt foreign in her ears.

"Shirly, it was the woman who framed Kinan at that time, so Kinan ended up in your apartment." The father chirps as if answering a question mark on his son's mind. Rey clenched her hands knowing that fact. Shirly reluctantly abandons Kinan behind the Club that night.

"If Shirly can be found by Ammar and she opens everything that happens, then you'll be dragged into a legal case." Reciprocity.

Rey bergeming.

"For that, don't meet Kinan until everything is resolved. If you meet him and at that time Ammar knows everything, he will surely imprison you because he will not accept it more if you are close to Kinan."

Rey understands now what the father is trying to do. Her father doesn't want Shirly to open her mouth, so the police will trace the incident and end up in Rey's apartment and reveal Rey's actions to Kinan that night.

"Now where is Shirly? Does papa know where he is?" Rey tried to find out.

The Papa smiled slanted. His eyes remained focused staring out the window.

"Why? You want to meet her?"

From that question, Rey already knew clearly that the woman named Shirly must have been in the grasp of her Papa. Rey knows clearly who Yazid Denizer who does not hesitate to do anything as long as it is right according to his mind.

"Let him free, Pa. Let Ammar find him and let Ammar punish him for all his deeds." Rey recalls that at that time Ammar was Kinan's husband, and the right to reply Shirly was Ammar or Kinan himself, not himself.

Papa Rey turned her body to look at the child.

"Bodooh base! You'll be dragged into trouble if I let go of that woman! Everything will be revealed."

Rey bergeming. He looked down and thought of the words of his father.

"If you get into trouble. The impact will spill over into your hard-earned career and image you build to be good to colleagues and audiences!"

Rey remained silent. As always, he has his own way of thinking.

Kinan moved uneasily, he paced around in his room. He had already spent several months living alone in a strange mansion. All his needs were met, he could eat anything he wanted just by mentioning it once. The servants were happy to serve and obey the will of the woman who was pregnant.

Everything feels perfect, Kinan is like a queen who can get anything in this house. Or if likened, it is like getting a crumbling durian or jin bottle that can meet the needs and has changed his life.

But every day he was nervous. As in today, he was always unsettled. With all the facilities he could and received at this time, he was afraid that he would not be able to fulfill the wish requested by a man named Ardi. Kinan was afraid that he could not help much and worked well at Ardi's place later. And Kinan was afraid that, if that were to happen, everything he had gained during these few months would have to be paid for by handing over the child in his womb.

The man named Ardi occasionally came to visit him. The man often asked the news and obeyed Kinan's will, even Kinan's divorce was official. Kinan becomes unwell if one day he has to disappoint Ardi.

"I feel alienated, but isn't it my own will to stay away from Mas Ammar and avoid Mas Rey for a while." Kinan sighed for a moment as he suddenly recalled Rey again in his memory.

Kinan who really does not know who Ardi really is, can only resign and believe if one day Ardi hires him on the right path. Isn't it according to the agreement, he will work for a lifetime with Ardi later? Ah, again Kinan wanted to brush off the unpleasant shadows that flashed on his head if he remembered that. Ardi has promised, the work he will give is halal work.

The sound of the house door being knocked, Kinan immediately saw who the guests were coming through the screen that was plastered beside the door. There Kinan could see that if the one who came was a young woman, it was the psychiatrist who had been coming for several months to treat Kinan regularly.

Kinan opened the door with a simple smile, then allowed the woman to enter.

"Excuse me, Miss.. Can we begin? Can we start?" The greenish-eyed lady looked at Kinan with a friendly gaze, she had a mixed conversation between the British and the Indonesians. He is a young psychiatrist specially chosen to help deal with Kinan, because in addition to experts in his field, he can also speak Indonesian quite fluently. That is quite helpful Kinan, although in fact Kinan English is also fairly decent because he often uses English when he was in college in his department.

Kinan. "Sure.. Come on!" Kinan stepped over while sitting on a sofa in the guest room. The psychiatrist followed.

They started activities for therapy. As usual, Kinan would begin to tell the outline of his problems and anything that made him depressed. They have done this several times this month, so the psychiatrist named Joana already understands a little about Kinan's problem.

Kinan was very grateful for Joana's arrival at this house, because Joana was like a friend looking Kinan moaning. In this country, Kinan doesn't even have friends. He was always accompanied by a servant who did not talk much just because he was professional in his duties. Kinan would take a walk in the summer escorted by a few servants whom Kinan believed also had martial arts experts. Kinan felt guarded while feeling imprisoned. I don't know, why is her life now this precious and must be guarded as a princess of the king or perhaps as a prisoner? Kinan wouldn't think of that.

Kinan looked back at Joana in front of him, and came to his senses from his daydream for a moment. Kinan refocused and listened to every word that came out of Joana's lips.

After completing the therapy. Joana looked at Kinan with a smile.

"Kinan, I think we're like friends now. Will you spend your weekend with me? We can walk around this town. And it can help to forget about your problem for a moment." Joana's eyes were impressed with hope.

"Of course." Kinan was very pleased with Joana's invitation. He was excited to live his days.

"Let's try..." Joana. That is also the purpose of Joana, Kinan must have spirit again and forget her trauma in the past.
