How Will You Say Goodbye?

How Will You Say Goodbye?
Farewell

Mendung became Ammar's travel companion to the Court Office. Today was her first call from the court to discuss her divorce with Kinan. Peace efforts will begin, it is time for Ammar to persuade Kinan, because Ammar is sure to meet with Kinan there later.

Ammar parked his car steadily in the parking lot. After calling his lawyer, Ammar decided to enter the courthouse because the lawyer had been waiting for him inside.

Ammar entered the room that would bring him to the plaintiff's wife, Kinanty. Ammar looked into the room, his eyes looking for the whereabouts of the woman he expected to be, but the wife was not there. There was only one man who claimed to be Kinan's lawyer.

Ammar shook hands for a moment with the middle-aged man, the man smiling kindly looked at Ammar as his professional attitude as a lawyer. Ammar wanted to ask Kinan whereabouts, but of course it would be useless. Because before Ammar asked, the lawyer first said that his client would not come and would not change his decision about this divorce lawsuit.

Ammar let out a frustrated sigh, rubbing his huff in this cold room. He felt his heart and mind very hot, when the judge easily decided to go directly to the next stage, the mediation stage. Ammar felt like a failure because he could not persuade Kinan to withdraw his lawsuit. He was hoping that there would be a meeting with Kinan today.

 --

Some time passed, again Ammar had to swallow a bitter pill, reality was not on his side.

The mediation stage has been done, but Kinan was never present to just show his face, even for just a farewell to Ammar. With Kinan's absence at every meeting they should have, it made the divorce proceed quickly without a hitch. Ammar gave up and was desperate.

Furthermore, Ammar can only resign when reading the lawsuit. It all felt so fast, Kinan had already handed his absolute decision to his lawyer and that meant there was no chance for Ammar to be able to change this divorce.

"Can I meet Kinan, sir?" Ammar asked Kinan's lawyer.

The man in front of Ammar grinned, he looked at Ammar at a glance while saying his ultimate words.

"If you want to meet my client so that he changes his decision, it seems like it would be a waste of your precious time." Answer the man casually.

"I'm still her husband, I deserve to meet her."

The man looked at Ammar with a concerned look.

"Maybe you can meet him after all this is done. Sorry I had to step down." The lawyer slightly lowered his gaze and left.

After that brief conversation, Ammar never once intended to talk and negotiate with Kinan's lawyer. His own lawyers could do little to help Ammar overturn the judge's decision. For all of Kinan's reasons for parting with Ammar was very burdensome for Ammar's side.

Unmitigated, Kinan sued on the grounds never given a living born and inner. In addition, as a wife, Kinan was also never considered to be his existence by Ammar and all that his wife went through escaped the supervision of Ammar, so Ammar did not know about the bad events that happened to his wife. Kinan also demanded his human rights because he had been admitted to the RSJ by Ammar, even though his history of the disease could still be if he went through an outpatient process at home by routinely seeing a psychiatrist, especially considering the condition of Kinan which is pregnant. For all the charges filed by Kinan, Ammar was hit hard and could not be evaded. Until the judge's decision falls, that they both have officially divorced. The hammer is tapped as a sign of whiteness that has been legitimate and cannot be disturbed. Kinanty and Ammar have officially parted ways.

"Here Ammar, when will you continue this way? Think of your children's fate!" Latifa advised Ammar, who later appeared moody, especially after her divorce from Kinan. They both sat on the front porch.

"It's all because of Mama and Shirly!" Ammar spoke flatly without seeing his mother. "Where is he, Ma? I haven't seen him here yet!" Call Ammar again.

"Shirly to Overseas, Ammar. Mama gave me a message and she'll definitely be here when she gets back!"

"I'll wait for her to come, Ma." Ammar smiled cunningly. Exploring what punishment is appropriate for women who became one of the causes of the destruction of his household.

"After everything is clear, I'll make sure you can't stay here anymore." Ammar stared intently at the old woman sitting beside him.

"Are you going to throw out Mama just because of Kinan, Ammar? Remember I am the mother who gave birth to you!" Latifa's voice rang out in fear but tried to defend herself.

Ammar rose from his position. Put his fingers in his pants pocket and looked straight at the yard.

"After everything that happened, why did you realize that you were also a mother, Ma? If you're a good mother, you should be the one advising me when I misjudge my wife. Mama should have mediated us!" Ammar's voice was rising.

"For a while, but like I said, Ma. When everything is clear. I'll decide how next I should behave to Mama."

"Hallo, Mr. Manager..." Kevin greets Rey who just arrived at a cafe where they made an appointment.

"Can you just!" Rey smiled as she waved her hand to call the cafe waiter.

"So how? Do you know where Kinan is?" Kevin sipped his drink from a straw.

Rey shook her head, then proceeded to select the order in the menu book.

"But you know if he's officially divorced?" Ask Kevin casually. He thought Rey would have heard of this.

"You mean?" Rey was done with her order and looked seriously at Kevin. He was a little surprised, he didn't seem to know that.

"Lo don't know? Bokap you don't tell me, Nyuk?"

Rey bergeming. His eyes looked far away.

"Woi, Mommy! Seriously don't you know?"

Rey did not immediately answer, he was silent for a moment before finally making a sound. "Udahlah, Nyet. Don't talk about this anymore." Rey nodded slowly.

Kevin looked confused at his best friend, Rey is not as usual, it should be good news that Rey received but why Rey was not excited.

"Lo doesn't want to talk about Kinan's divorce or lo-"

"Don't talk about Kinan anymore." Rey flat.

"What's? Don't tell me you've turned over and want to kiss him!" Kevin beedecak tongue while shaking his head slowly.

"Udah lo mending a meal, Nyet!"

Kevin shook his head. "Well, you're bad, Nyuk! Just yesterday I saw lo bucin se-bucinnya, today you're already kayak gini!" Kevin kept staring in wonder at Rey.

Rey cuek only and decided to eat the food that had been in front of him and did not serve Kevin's speech.
