"Awhile!" Shirly hurriedly headed to the kitchen-clean and took something for her to serve in front of Kinan.

"This is my apology. Yesterday you made me a cake, this I made you a cake plus tea too." Shirly said as she handed me a piece of cake in a small dish and a glass of warm tea.

Kinan looked at Shirly in disbelief. Kinan did not expect Shirly's treatment to turn 180 degrees. Kinan remembered this woman's treatment of him until Kinan called her "the serpent woman."
