How Will You Say Goodbye?

How Will You Say Goodbye?
SEASON II - One fine day

"Joana, today Daddy is asking you to marry Ammar" said Nathan, who was taken in by others. The middle-aged man hugged his only daughter who he loved so much.

Joana can only cry in the arms of the father, I shed tears happy mixed can not be stopped again, he vented all his feelings along with tears that decayed.

"Already, let's start the show immediately." whispered Julia in the ear of her husband, then Nathan let go of his embrace to his only daughter.

Joana looked at Ammar who was still smiling knots, her eyes hinting would demand an explanation to Ammar of everything that happened impromptu and sudden. Not that he was unhappy, but this was beyond his expectations. An impromptu marriage that he never even thought of.

Joana thought she would ask her parents for their blessing in London. But it turns out this event has been held in front of the eyes.

"You must explain it to me" Joana whispered to Ammar, pinching Ammar's waist in a slight upset.

Ammar grimaces. "Aw .. yes, let me go" he said, then they chuckled at the same time.

They were separated temporarily. Joana's hand was pulled by Mama and her Tantenya, Mother Doni. While Ammar, following the instructions of Doni and the elders of the executors of their sacred event to go to the place of the wedding pledge.

Joana was still crying, her head was resting on the mother's shoulder, Julia stroked the head of her child who resigned to her shoulder.

"No way, Mama's daughter is getting married" Julia said as she stared at the seconds Ammar was saying his wedding vows in front of her.

"Ma, I-I was very surprised.." isaac Joana. "This was all out of my expectations" he continued.

"Do you like the decorations?" timpal Mama Doni's.

"Yeah, Aunty, I love this. It's like my dream wedding, but in my dream, I'm the one who set it all up" she said, weeping when she heard Ammar speak her name and continued with the voices of witnesses saying the word 'sah' it's end there.

"No, the bride just needs to enjoy the atmosphere. No need to bother because there is already a W.O who takes care of it. You're not disappointed with this, are you? Are you happy?" ask Tante.

Joana nodded while wiping her tears, then a pair of hands led her to join Ammar, it was Sinta's hand that looked at her with a smile as bright as sun.

"Congratulations, you guys are officially married" said Sinta, then they hugged for a moment.

Julia rubbed her tears with a tissue, and as Joana looked at her, she hugged her daughter.

"Mama..."

"Goodbye, be a good wife. Don't run away from trouble, be with your husband no matter what happens because he has chosen you and he is your choice" Julia advised wisely.

"Yes, Ma. Thank you, Ma." Joana cries again in the arms of the mother, Mama stroked her son's back with affection.

"Woman, congratulations." said someone who had just entered the room they were in.

Joana looked at him, there was a smiling Kinan.

"Kinan..." Joana splashes at Kinan and Kinan returns Joana's embrace.

"Congratulations, I'm so happy to see this. I was one of the people waiting for this special moment" Kinan said with a small chuckle.

"Yes, Ki. Thank you for taking me to Ammar's life."

"It's not me, but it's all set and destined to be the same Almighty who gives a soul mate." replied Kinan wisely.

They all nodded at Kinan's words and went out to the main area of the event, where Ammar and the others had gathered there and were waiting for Joana's presence.

Joana is delivered by Kinan, Sinta and Desi who also just arrived and congratulated. They went to where Ammar was standing, and allowed the couple to side by side.

Along with that, a pair of children came to them, Shaka and Lesya holding each one a different ring box.

Ammar cleared his throat before continuing his words.

"Ehmm, um.sorry if this event really surprised you." he said staring fixedly at Joana's tanned eyes.

Joana turned her head and returned those intense gazes. Their gazes locked onto each other, forming a pattern of a straight line, forgetting the people around who were also listening to the speech Ammar was about to say.

"As a result of your refusal, I bought a new pair of rings for today. The day that our marriage really took place, the day that I really had been waiting for it and the day that I became your husband and you became my wife" Ammar said.

Joana gasped at Ammar's words, she did not expect the man who had become her husband could say the word seromantis. Joana is back with tears.

"Jo, don't cry." Ammar wiped Joana's tears with his hands, they completely forgot the real others watching the sweet action of the impromptu bridal pair. (including othor😂)

"These are tears of happiness" said Joana.

Ammar smiled slightly. "Today I am so happy to see the tears of your happiness, dear." whispered Ammar right in Joana's ear. And the action got the cheers of the people around even though they did not hear what Ammar said to Joana.

"Huhuuuu.

"I'm so envious. My wife didn't cry at our wedding. She laughed at me instead." said Doni, she recalled her marriage to Sinta who several times mispronounced the qabul ijab and Sinta instead laughed at her after they officially became husband and wife.

Rey and Kinan chuckle at Akward Kevin and Doni's behavior.

"Your friends are amazing, Mas." chirped Kinan who was just in with by Rey.

Rey smiled at a glance. "That's how, they're lucky I still want to think of them as friends" Rey replied.

Rey chuckles. "Yes, but I can still keep the image, baby. It's not as embarrassing in public as they are." Rey's claws were apparently heard by Kevin and Doni, both glared sharply at Rey and Rey just chuckled in response.

"Papa, this is the ring." chirped Shaka who was apparently not seen in the eyes of Ammar.

"Oh, my God, I'm sorry Papa almost forgot" said Ammar as he patted his own forehead.

Joana chuckles to the point of silencing her mouth, Lesya does the same.

"Jo, what Shaka brought was a new pair of rings. I bought another pair of rings even though you rejected me back then. I'm sorry I threw the first ring into the pool. I finally bought a new pair because somehow, I'm sure we're really getting married."

Ammar took the ring box from Shaka's hand and opened it in front of Joana. Everyone applauded watching the scene and Ammar's statement.

"I thought I'd take this pair of rings with me when I went to London to ask for your parents' blessing and pick you up." Ammar breathed for a moment. "Unfortunately, I met them while packing into the orphanage. Your parents visited my office. I'm so sorry that I haven't fulfilled my promise to them to visit them when I'm cured."

Joana looked at her parents who nodded to Ammar, Joana herself did not know if her parents had returned to Indonesia.

"They didn't tell me where you were, they just said that maybe you went and rejected me because of my status and my past."

Joana nodded doubtfully, she bowed.

"They already know about me, Jo. I knew everything since they visited me in the hospital. I'm also surprised that Doni said never to tell."

Both Joana's parents nodded. "We've known since we were in London, before we went to Indonesia because of the case that Xander made." Julia said.

"Where do Mom and Dad know?" ask Joana.

"Secret.." Mama chuckled.

Joana thunts.

"Daddy blesses you right then and there, let alone hearing that Ammar saved you from Xander. Daddy really believes he can take care of you" Nathan said.

All who were there smiling brightly knowing this fact, it turns out Joana's parents have an open mind. Lagupula, maybe Ammar will be better for Joana than their daughter continues with Xander. They were quite traumatized because Joana once had an ex-lover like Xander, so they agreed with Ammar. Although Ammar is bad, Joana's parents know that Ammar has changed for the better and she deserves a chance.

Ammar pulls Joana's hand, ready to pair the ring but Joana takes back her hand.

"What about the box Lesya was holding? What box is that?" ask Joana.

Lesya handed the box to Ammar and Ammar greeted him.

"This is the first ring box I bought. It's just my ring inside but yours I wasted that time in the pool." Ammar chuckles as he is pictured inside his head as Joana picks up the ring he threw away in the pool.

"I don't see the pair of rings attached to you, so we're wearing the one we just had" Amamr said.

"No.." Joana prevented Ammar, "Actually the ring was on me. You've seen it, haven't you? What if I pick up the ring at the pool?"

Ammar smelled his smile while nodding. "So which ring do you want me to put?" tanyakanya.

"First of all, I've taken it hard" said Joana quickly.

Those who were there chuckled at Joana's words, they also imagined what they saw on the CCTV footage, as Joana searched for her little ring inside the spacious pool. Rey, Kinan, Sinta, Doni, Kevin and Desi, they all laughed because they had seen the tape over and over again. When they saw it, they felt pity mixed with amar because Joana had rejected Ammar at that time but he instead returned to the hotel and entered the pool without thinking long to find the ring that Ammar threw away.

"Where's the ring? Let me put it together." said Ammar.

Joana opened her necklace, apparently the ring she pinned inside the necklace she was wearing. Ammar only realized that the necklace pendulum that Joana was wearing was her gift ring. Though he looked at Joana with great detail, but why was the ring only visible now when Joana opened the necklace?

"It's..." Joana hands her ring to Ammar. Ammar put the first ring box Shaka gave into his pants pocket. Then quietly opened the second ring box that Lesya gave. Turns out, there was only one ring that Ammar should have worn.

They also exchanged rings after previously officially becoming a couple. They smiled happily as both of them were already wearing their respective rings.

The boisterous voices of the people within the mansion cheered their happiness. Those people were mostly family and close friends, as well as servants working in the Mansion. For now, they have not held a reception and this wedding is only known to the closest people and children of the orphanage.

Congratulations were unceasingly heard and spoken for the new couple. Both seem happy, they do the process of silence on both Joana's parents and on Latifa, Ammar's mother.

"Are you happy?" ammar asked as they sat side by side in a wooden chair near the buffet table. Everyone is busy with their own activities. Some were eating, singing and some children were playing in the spacious courtyard of the Mansion. Their show is very family-friendly. Everything is as it is, not too formal and no awkwardness.

"I'm very happy... Thanks, Ammar." said Joana with teary eyes.

Ammar stroked Joana's cheek, "Don't cry anymore. We'll start with happiness" said Ammar softly.

Joana nodded and Amamr embraced the body of the woman who had officially become his wife.

"I'm happy, very happy. Thank you my husband." said Joana stroking Ammar's hand around his shoulder.

Ammar's face reddened to hear Joana's words calling her 'My husband'.

"I'm also happy, your happiness is mine, dear." replied Ammar as he kissed Joana's palm in a row.
