How Will You Say Goodbye?

How Will You Say Goodbye?
He's really here

Kinan yawned while writhing quietly on his bed, he glanced at the clock located on the nightstand. It was too early to get up, but Kinan kept moving from his bed to the bathroom.

Kinan slightly gasped at the presence of someone who was asleep on the sofa.

"Ah, he's really here." Kinan muttered to himself.

Kinan watched Rey who was still asleep in her sleep. His fingers wanted to reach out and touch the young man's face but he quickly shook his head and brushed off his will.

Kinan walked back to the bathroom. He hears Rey's voice saying her name, Kinan stops and turns to look at Rey, but what Kinan sees is Rey still asleep with her shady face.

"You dreaming?" The woman muttered, she smiled faintly. Kinan decided to go back to bed, pick up the blanket and cover Rey's body with the blanket. The air in London is quite cool, although it is not winter.

Kinan glanced at the food he served last night.

"Ck, didn't you eat it at all?" Kinan left, he decided to take a change of clothes and would take a shower right now.

After finishing the bath and already wearing her clothes, Kinan decided to leave the room. He left Rey who was still sleeping.

Kinan entered the kitchen area that apparently had not seen anyone there. He opened the refrigerator and chose some food that he could cook.

As Kinan was busy cutting vegetables, a waiter entered the kitchen area and was surprised to find Kinan already there.

"What are you doing, Miss? I'll prepare breakfast and eat for you!" Said the maid tiu sungkan.

"It's okay, I just want to eat Indonesian food. Let me make it!" Kinan's words were interspersed with his natural smile. The waiter nodded and offered what help he could do to ease Kinan's activities.

"No, I've been used to this before." Kinan. He recalled a glimpse of his routine when he was still preparing breakfast at Ammar.

"Alright, Miss. I'll help you put this food into your room!"

"Ah, no need. Let me take him there. You just do another job." Kinan said on the sidelines of his activities.

"Yes, Miss"

"Oh yeah, don't clean my room. I'll clean it up today."

"Why Miss?" The waiter looked astonished.

"Emm, it's okay. My mood is good today." Kinan smiled looking at the female servant.

"Ok, Miss." Said the waiter while slightly bowed. Kinan nodded, and he continued his cooking activities.

After more than an hour, Kinan had already finished his cooking. He cooks fried kwetiau with seafood, chicken soup and a few slices of meat sandwich. Kinan arranged the food in a food trolley. Not to forget he brought rice as a complement and also tea and water as a drink. His stomach was suddenly hungry because he didn't eat anything last night either.

Kinan opened his apron, then walked slowly towards his own room while slowly pushing the food trolley. Arriving in the room, he quickly locked the door and saw Rey who was still asleep as well. Kinan placed the food trolley right in front of the sofa where Rey had fallen asleep. Then, he opened the curtain for sunlight to enter his room.

"Good morning." Rey's words surprised Kinan when he almost looked back. Kinan held onto his surprised chest, and Rey chuckled at him.

"You're used to getting up in the afternoon, huh?" taunting Kinan. Rey shakes. "It's not too late yet, after all just last night I felt like I was sleeping well." Rey sees Kinan still standing in front of the window but a second later her sense of smell smells the delicious smell of food and she realizes the food trolley is in front of her.

"Does that waitress know I'm here?" Guess Rey, because she thinks the waiter who delivered the food must have seen her whereabouts.

"You think?" Kinan approached the trolley and served the food one by one to the table. "Bite, after that breakfast. You must be hungry." Say Kinan while pouring tea into a cup.

Rey got up from her position and she complied to take a shower. Kinan sat on the sofa and waited for Rey to finish with her activities. After a few minutes, the young man came out with wet hair wearing the same shirt and pants.

"I don't have a change of clothes." Said Rey while giggling. I don't know why his face is so happy right now.

"Sit down and eat, Mommy." Gentle Kinan. But, Rey instead focused on drying her hair with a towel. Kinan chuckled and finally approached Rey. Without saying anything, he pulled the towel from Rey's hand and pushed the young man's body to sit on the edge of the bed. Rey looked at him with an astonished look, what would she do?- Rey thought.

Kinan was in a standing position, while Rey sat on the edge of the bed. Kinan rubbed the towel over Rey's head, apparently to help Rey dry her hair. Rey smiled at the treatment. His eyes were unceasingly staring towards Kinan who was so attentive today.

"A ready. Let's breakfast!" The voice was flat but Rey's ear was like a loving gentle speech. Rey is hypnotized, she follows Kinan to the sofa and the two sit side by side on the sofa.

"Where do you want to eat?" Ask Kinan.

Rey saw the food. "Where is it." Said Rey and at that moment Kinan also took her rice along with chicken soup.

"Eat a lot. You look skinny now!" Kinan and Rey nodded.

"Why? Is the food bad?" Ask Kinan.

"No, it's really good. I miss Mama's cooking."

"Good, so it wasn't in vain that I cooked it." Flat Kinan.

"You cooked it?" Rey smiled happily, it turned out that Kinan really cared about her.

"Yes, why do you keep seeing me like that?" again Kinan bit his sandwich.

"I want that too!" Rey. Not yet Kinan replied, Rey had taken Kinan's hand which contained a piece of sandwich, then pointed Kinan's hand towards his mouth and he ate Kinan's sandwich.

"Mas! that's still a lot of why eat this one!" Kinan Protest.

Rey smiled and decided to be quiet while enjoying the sandwich that had entered her mouth.

"Mas!" Kinan demanded an answer from the man.

"I want the food you eat." Rey said lightly and Kinan rolled his eyes.

"Can I spend it all?" Rey asked, now her hand was ready to take her from the plate.

"Hmm" Kinan muttered, indeed his heart was happy to see Rey eating her cooking voraciously.

"Eat too much, my son and future wife must be healthy." Rey's sudden remark made Kinan choke.

"Slowly." Rey gustas gave Kinan water and tissue.

"Is it okay?" Rey saw Kinan nod and felt relieved.

__

"When are you leaving my room, Mom?" Ask Kinan after they finish breakfast.

"Why? You're not happy I'm here?" Rey looked at Kinan seriously.

"Not so, I'm afraid you're caught and end up being a bad ending for you!"

"You're worried about me?" Rey grins.

Kinan got up from his seat. "Of course." Her speech.

"Are your Passports and Visas on hold?" Ask Rey.

"No, it's all on me."

"Good, we're home tomorrow!"

"Mas, it's not that easy. I have a promise to someone else and if I don't keep it the child I gave birth to will be taken."

"What?" Rey was flabbergasted and stood up from her position, while Kinan nodded. Kinan explained everything to Rey and the young man seemed to understand.

"Let this be my business." Said Rey while gently stroking Kinan's hair. There is no more rejection from the woman, making Rey sure that Kinan has now forgiven her completely. Now Rey just has to think about how he should get out of Kinan's room and plan his return with Kinan.

"Are we just getting married in this town and staying here?" Rey looked gently at Kinan's eyes. The woman blinked once and for a second then her face flushed red from Rey's words.
