The Queen Who Shares Love

The Queen Who Shares Love
S2 Chapter 19 Fix

Leonard followed Judith into the hotel. They stopped at a door. Leonard sighed, steadyingly meeting his father and mother.

Hotel room door open. Both of Leonard's parents looked at his son wistfully. Leonard's mother cupped the Duchess's hands in thanks.

Although Leonard came there, it does not mean that his father and mother are forgiven. There is still a sense of resentment and resentment, but giving a chance to people who love him should be tried. If the reason that came out of the mouths of the two men was so absurd, Leonard would curse them forever.

"Sit, Duchess. You're also Leon," asked Leonard's mother.

Judith smiled subtly refusing. "It's a family gathering, I shouldn't be here. I'll wait outside."

Leonard's family stared at the closed door. There are only three of them. Awkwardness begins to spread, no one starts a conversation. Leonard hopes the Duchess is here to overcome this silence. Although the Duchess did not say much, at least there would be words coming out of the mouth of one of the people in the room, whether Leonard's strictness, or not, or the pleasantries of Leonard's mother and father.

"You're so great to be the Duchess' bodyguard, Leon," Leonard's father said, breaking the silence.

The pleasantries that Leonard disliked. If not for Marquis Loid or his revenge, he would not have been the Duchess' bodyguard.

"Not that great" Leonard replied briefly.

The silence that had been hiding now reappeared. Feeling in vain that he had come here, Leonard turned towards the door. His mother pulled his arm, stopping Leonard.

"We cannot be forgiven. So we're not going to apologize. We're happy to see you happy, Leon."

Leonard held his mother's hand. His index finger was pointed at his mother and father. "Happy? You don't know how I'm gonna live after I'm dumped."

"We never threw you away, Leon. We just want to protect you" Leonard's father explained.

"If you want to protect me, you should take me!" shouting Leonard.

Leonard's mother shed tears remembering the night her husband and her left Leonard. The family suffered because of the hasty decision.

"That night, we wanted to return the money we borrowed to Count Gail for hearing that one noble was a fraud. However, Count Gail's men attacked and spread the news we were dead. We were held captive in the basement of Count Gail's residence" Leonard's father said.

Leonard gnashed his teeth. He had mistaken his parents. His hate was on the wrong person. If he had found out more about the truth about the death of his father and mother, maybe their relationship would not have ended like this.

"We escaped two years ago, looking for you in our old house, but we didn't find him. All we know is that you're a mercenary. We thought you were living happily, but Count Gail owed you a debt. We tried to find but hiding from the nobility was not easy. We can only steal to survive." Leonard's mother wiped her tears.

Leonard's tears were unstoppable again. He hugged both his parents.

"I was wrong too. Sorry for not trusting you."

The three of them cried together. Leonard promised in his heart to make amends. He will make his parents happy with his own hands.

'Importantly they don't know which face I would put if discovered, ' Judith's mind.

Suddenly Leonard came out. Judith put on a flat face as if she had heard nothing.

"How much does this hotel cost? Let me pay for it" Leonard said without further ado.

"No need, just think of it as a bonus and as a work motivation for you." Duches turned around waving his hands back. Feeling his need was over, he headed for the horse carriage.

Leonard took a long breath. The money he received from the Duchess was already too much, indeed for the nobility it was just small money, but still money was money. Leonard turned his head towards his parents asking them to find a new place to live.

"Buy a new home. Sometimes I will come. I'll give you the money tomorrow" Leonard said.

The money that the Duchess gave her during the rebellion and after the meeting with Count Gail, must have been enough to buy a new house. His dilapidated house was not worth inhabiting, it was repaired in vain because Marquis Loid already knew where he lived. He has not decided which side, of course, his assumption of the Duchess has improved.

***

The Duchess's room was deserted. There was only Judith and the workers in her residence. It was hard to stay away from his family, but he had to be strong to make sure his brother would take the throne and his father would remain Emperor.

A flickering light emerged from the work desk in his room. Judith activated the stone.

"What's up, Flint?"

"I've gathered evidence against Marquis Loid, but still not enough. Give me some more time."

Judith also knew that Marquis one was very cunning. Dropping Marquis Loid requires extra patience, if he is wrong to act it will even backfire.

"Alright, fight Flint. Find out the Marquis's rottenness at the party."

"Okay, Duchess."

The magic stone slowly dimmed. The best way to find information is during a party at the Loid residence. The Marquis Loid's defense will be off guard due to the party. Flint could easily infiltrate the Loid residence using a magic hood.

It was time to dismantle the cooperation between Marquis Loid and Leonard. However, he was hesitant because the fate of the old couple he met earlier depended on his self-styled bodyguard.

Maybe he doesn't know how parents feel about losing his child. It's just that it must have been very painful, seeing the look on the face of his father and mother who had to let go of him and Ariana, he thought about the feelings of Leonard's parents.

'You should have chosen a better master, Leonard. You put me in a difficult choice, ' Judith's inner self.
