Chapter 8 Fired Teacher

This was not the first time Leticia had come to that place. However, for some reason he felt like he had never been to that place for many years. Braun's workspace felt foreign to him.

Leticia said hello to her husband. Braun did not see Leticia at all. Barun was busy staring at the documents on his desk. The Emperor no longer cared about the first Empress, and he had no intention of covering her up with lies.

Leticia immediately said the intention of his arrival. "Can I fire Judith's teacher, Your Majesty?"

"Why?" braun asked still looking at the file he had in his hand.

Braun paid no heed to Leticia at all. To her the whereabouts of Leticia now interfered with her work. Leticia noticed it from Braun's attitude that she didn't see him at all.

"They used violence in teaching Judith. They also teach the wrong things," Leticia said firmly. Leticia's eyes showed indignation at the teacher's actions.

"Do as you please, Leticia," Braun said coldly.

Braun not only did not care about Leticia, he did not care about his daughter either. He was not angry to hear that his daughter had been hurt by someone else. Perhaps for Braun his son was the son Charlotte was born with. 

"Okay, thank you Your Majesty." Leticia bowed and then left immediately. Braun did not look at Leticia at all. 

Her husband only cares about Charlotte and Louis. If Louis had received punishment and torture from his teacher, Braun would have been angry. He will punish the man with a proper reply. The difference between Judith and Louis is obvious. 

Leticia went to the library at the first empress' palace. Judith was there reading Leticia's book. Judith could understand the simple language of books. Leticia approached her son. 

"From now on, you don't have to meet those teachers, honey," Leticia said.

"Why?" Judith looked at Leticia. A big question mark was on his face

"Mother will teach you, dear," said Leticia softly. 

"really?" Judith's eyes twinkled. His mother would teach him.

"Of course." Leticia stroked Judith's head. "What did you get from the book, honey?"

"The Empire was formed by Emperor Keith. He is Grandpa Buyut. Emperor Keith had two sons. The first son to become Emperor was Grandfather. While the second son became Grand Duke Faust," Judith said excitedly

"You're right, honey. Forget everything your teacher taught you. This is the right knowledge. I'll teach you manners, too."

Judith nodded with excitement. 

His daughter is not a stupid child. Judith's teachers just didn't want to teach her. Her status as a princess would not gain a great influence in the future.  Judith was still the imperial princess. He needs to be well educated. 

Leticia smiled and continued her lesson.

Grand Duke Faust had a son who inherited his title. People who have imperial blood like Braun. Grand Duke Faustman was the only person who had the right to sit on the throne other than Braun. He's a great guy. The troops he led were always victorious in battle. However, he was notoriously cruel and ruthless.

Judith heard her mother's story carefully. He needs to learn everything for his future. Braun hands off Judith's future. Leticia doesn't want her daughter's future uncertain. It will take revenge on Braun. He will make him abdicate in any way. For her and her daughter. The comfort they felt in the palace could be ruined at any moment.

The news of Leticia firing Judith's teacher was heard by Charlotte. Charlotte visits Leticia in the garden of the second empress' palace. 

Leticia was having tea with Judith. They both looked at Charlotte.

"Sorry, I came suddenly Empress Leticia. I heard teacher Judith was fired?" ask Charlotte. Charlotte's eyes showed concern. Everyone there could see it.

"That's right Empress Charlotte. I can't hire a man who can hurt a child." Leticia looked at Charlotte firmly. Although she looks concerned, according to Leticia Charlotte is pretending. 

"I'm sorry, I heard some bad news. I can help you find a new teacher for Judith." Charlotte reached out to shake Judith's cheek.

"No need, Empress Charlotte. I can teach Judith myself." Leticia wants to shake that hand. He held her back, not kindly showing hostility in front of the princess, the lady-in-waiting and the bodyguard.

"Alright, Empress Leticia. I'm ready to help you when you need help. Judith is Louis' sister, of course I care about her." Charlotte stroked Judith's cheek. He turned his lips to Leticia. Leticia. "Thank you for your kindness, Empress Charlotte."

Charlotte lowered her hand from Judith's cheek. He resigned himself.

Charlotte's back slowly disappeared. Judith went back to eating. He looked at his mother while finishing the snack.

"Empress Charlotte turned out to be good, huh, Mom?" ask Judith. There were snack crumbs left on her cheeks.

Leticia took a handkerchief rubbing Judith's cheek put away the snack. "Yes, sweetie." 

"I'm sorry, Mother. I can't eat right yet." Judith looked gloomy, because of the crumbs on her cheeks.

"It's okay, honey, my mother was originally like you. If we learn over time, we will get used to it. Then do it right." Leticia cheers on her son.

"Don't feel overwhelmed or scared. I won't be mad at you" he continued.

This tea with his daughter is actually a lesson in manners when eating. However, it was not as impressed as learning as Leticia taught Judith casually.

But there was tension in Judith. There was still fear left due to the cruel teachings of his teacher. Unknowingly it turns out that the treatment imprints in Judith's still pure heart. Leticia knew what her daughter was thinking. He was trying to find a way to get his daughter back.

"What if we learn to hold the cup properly?" take Leticia.

"Okay" Judith answered quickly.

Leticia held the handle of the cup with her thumb and index finger. His little finger touched the bottom of the cup to support the cup.

Judith followed Leticia. He managed to do so, even though his hands seemed to tremble. Judith did it so many times that her hands did not tremble. He was happy to do it right. 

Leticia then sipped her tea slowly. Then put the cup down without making a sound. Same with Judith. 

His daughter learns quickly. He will protect his innocent daughter. Judith did not yet know the dark world of nobility. There is a lot of pretenses and deceit in it. They will do terrible things to make a profit. According to the little boy, Charlotte's attitude looks good.

However, to Leticia Charlotte's kindness felt suspicious. Charlotte wants to look good in front of everyone. It seems to be hiding and planning something. Whatever Charlotte's plan is, Leticia's ready to deal with it.
