S2 Chapter 9 Trauma of Ariana

Long time no see his friend, Ariana wanted to visit the Lortamort Empire. Leticia and Gerald agree to Ariana's departure as long as they join. They were greeted with friendly, no suspicion of the kingdom's ill intentions, let alone the prince of the kingdom was Ariana's pen pal.

The seeds of love that appeared in Ariana's heart made her blind to the bad attitude of Prince Lortamort. The Prince takes Ariana to a deserted place where she is held captive by the King and Queen without the knowledge of Leticia and Gerald. 

The Lortamort Royal Family claim that Ariana was kidnapped. Gerald's wrath was unstoppable, and he ordered his knights to search for his daughter. He also threatened the Lortamort Royal family if he could not find Ariana, Gerald would earth the charred kingdom of Lortamort. King Lortamort agreed, but on the terms of Ariana and her son's engagement.

Gerald was worried, he wanted his son to be found immediately but if he had to be engaged to someone who had the intention of sincerity was the same as sacrificing the happiness of his daughter. Leticia asked for some time to think, as a pretext to search for her daughter secretly. 

But Ariana did not meet. Leticia and Gerald asked for more time. The impatient King Lortamort, showing his true nature. The king threatened to kill Ariana if Gerald did not decide immediately. Thanks to King Lortamort's threat, Leticia suspects that Ariana is being held captive in the palace. He searches for his daughter while Gerald deals with King Lortamort.

In a room without light, Ariana is watched by the Queen and First Prince Lortamort. Ariana's little body was trembling. Not only fear, his heart was hurt by being betrayed and taken advantage of by the people he trusted. He hoped to be saved and out of this dark place.

Leticia opened the room. It was a great pleasure to find her daughter. Queen Lortamort orders the First Prince to injure Ariana while Leticia is blocked by the Queen. 

Leticia quickly removes the Queen, then protects her daughter. The sword pierced through Leticia's back quite deeply. He was unconscious while hugging his daughter. Ariana kept calling her mother, holding the body that was drawing a lot of blood from her.

Proceeding in a rash act, the first Prince intended to kill the mother and child. The sword is ready to be released.

Fortunately, Gerald caught up quickly. A kick floated into the prince's body. He brought his daughter and wife out of the cursed palace. 

First aid to cover Leticia's bleeding temporarily was done by Gerald to his senses with his aura. He did not trust the Royal Doctor Lortamort. His wife instead of being saved would instead be killed by one of the doctors in the kingdom. Her hands continued to hug Leticia's body hoping that everything was fine

Ariana kept looking at her mother's weakened body. Time seems to be going very slowly. He continues to blame himself.

Once at the Houlem imperial palace, Gerald orders Rose to the temple to bring the priest to cure Leticia. He took his wife to the room followed by Ariana.

Judith heard the news of the three coming home suddenly immediately to see them. He finds Ariana sitting in front of Leticia's room. The question stuck in her throat because of Ariana's shock. Judith hugged and calmed her sister.

"Sister is here. Mother will definitely recover, Ana," said Judith to encourage herself and her sister.

The sound of Gerald's cry boomed to the ears of Judith and Ariana. "B*the fucking bastard! I will not forgive them!"

Feeling his sister tremble even more intensely, Judith's embrace tightened. Without asking anything he had what happened. He never saw his father so angry. His mother's condition must have been severe.

Gerald walked out of the room looking at his two daughters. He stroked the heads of the two trying as gently as possible even though his heart was still angry.

"Judith, while I'm gone take care of your palace and your sisters. I will avenge those who hurt your mother" Gerald said.

Judith nodded her eyes at her father full of determination. "Good, Dad."

"Ana, you're safe, get some rest." Gerald hugged Ariana who was in Judith's arms.

"He's still being treated inside. Do not interrupt until treatment is complete. I'm gonna go so take care of your mom, Rion." Gerald took off his embrace and patted his son's shoulders encouragingly.

"Alright, take care of yourself."

Gerald ordered his troops to attack the Kingdom of Lortamort. Bloodshed was inevitable on the side of the Lortamort Kingdom. Gerald's attack destroyed everything. He mercilessly took out all the royal families of Lortamort. He will avenge anyone who injures his family with a more cruel recompense.

Ariana could not calm down. If anything happens to his mother he will not forgive himself. If only he were strong. If only, he had not asked to go to the kingdom of Lortamort. Had he not been easily fooled, his mother would have stood in front of them smiling.

His father's wrath scared him not to be a child for making his mother hurt. He is just a useless child.

Leticia's consciousness returned, her sons and daughters were relieved, except for Ariana. He still keeps bowing. 

Not wanting her daughter to continue to grieve Leticia waved her hand asking Ariana to come closer. He kissed the forehead of the second daughter struggled to smile. 

"Thank God, you're fine, Ana."

Ariana's tears broke. Unable to hug her child because her body was still weak, Leticia just wiped the tears of Ariana who kept coming out.

Gerald who had returned from the battlefield continued to accompany Leticia until he recovered. All the attention he lavished, such as peeping Leticia's forehead every day and bringing her favorite food.

"Here you go, Gerald, I'll be well over time. Don't leave your duties behind" said Leticia Lirih.

Gerald stroked his wife's cheek to win the concussion. "I've done everything. Your health is more important."

"What is the fate of the Lortamort kingdom?"

"There is no more kingdom called Lortamort."

Leticia's eyes were wide open. It was unexpected that Gerald would destroy everything. However, he will act the same if Gerald and his children are hurt.

Ariana peeked behind the door. The fear of seeing his parents remains. And the fear won, and he went back to the room crying. 

His determination to protect his family grew. He promises to be a strong man, but reality does not live up to expectations. Although he continued to practice the sword, he still did not master it.

Leticia began to move again even though she should not be tired. However, this one empress was known for her hardworking nature, so she fainted from spending time struggling with documents.

As long as Leticia was unconscious, Ariana continued to hold her hand. Leticia's fatigue was getting less and less, he was even fresher than before. Everyone is surprised by this. Even Isabella Leticia's assistant didn't have time to nag her master.

All eyes were on Ariana. That was when, the power of Ariana's blessing rose. Ariana left her family to serve in the temple.
