The Emperor and the Second Empress danced. Judith noticed her mother's gaze on the two of them. His mother must be jealous. Judith approached her mother, who was in the room.
Charlotte and Braun finished dancing. Judith clasped her mother's hand. Can't do. He even touched his own hand. He rubbed his hands against his mother's body. It just reaches for air.
Judith was worried that her mother would be kidnapped again. However, it is possible that her mother felt tired and was on the back balcony to calm down. The place is usually visited by his mother when the party. Sometimes Judith follows him without his knowledge.
Judih walked to the balcony. If his mother wasn't there he would have reported this to his father. He arrived at the balcony door. Her mother was with a man while smiling. A smile that his mother never showed anyone. A smile that looks very happy.
Judith doubted her vision of opening the balcony door. She saw her mother hugging a man who was not her father. Her mother's happy smile soon faded away being replaced with a flirtation once she saw Judith.
Judith gaped, clenched her hands and shouted, "What are you doing?!"
Unknowingly her tears were dripping. He could not believe his mother did that.
Gerald and Leticia immediately took off their embrace.
Judith immediately fled. Leticia's after her daughter.
"Judith, wait for your explanation!"
He stopped his daughter. Leticia's wider steps can certainly catch up to Judith easily.
"Don't touch me!" Judith brushed aside Leticia's hand that was on her shoulder.
Leticia flinched, she held onto her hand that Judith brushed aside. It didn't hurt but his heart hurt. "Mother please hear Mother's explanation, dear."
"I can see everything Mother. There's nothing to explain. Mom never smiled that happily when I was with me or dad." Judith's voice trembled. Tears kept flowing down her cheeks.
"It's not what you think, honey." Leticia tried to get close to her daughter. Judith stepped back.
"Now I know why you feel like you don't love Mom and me! I didn't see your meaning and affection because of that man!" judith shouted while pointing at the balcony where Gerald was.
"Your father never loved Mom. She was in contact with Empress Charlotte long before I married your father. They both planned everything and then made it difficult for me to give birth again. You can prove it with the fertility drugs in your room. Please believe me."
Leticia immediately hugged Judith. He didn't want his daughter to stay away anymore.
For some reason the embrace that had always kept Judith calm and happy, now felt strange.
"I don't trust Mom anymore. Don't see me for a few days."
Judith took off Leticia's embrace while wiping her tears that kept coming out.
Tears flooded Leticia's cheeks. Not only did his plan fail, his daughter also hated him.
Hearing the commotion Leticia and Judith made, many nobles approached.
No one sympathizes with him. The nobles who saw the incident whispered to each other. Charlotte grinned at this.

Leticia was in her room daydreaming at the scene outside her room. The day was very bright, in contrast to his heart that felt troubled. Scandals about her and Gerald were already spreading in the Empire.
Emilia felt anxious approaching Leticia. "Your queen must eat."
"I don't want to eat Emilia" Leticia replied softly. He was still looking out the window.
"How's Judith doing, Emilia?" ask Leticia.
"Mr Princess didn't eat these few days. He also did not leave the room," Emilia replied with a bow.
A tear on his cheek. He immediately rubbed it.
Leticia turned around immediately towards her daughter's room. No one is escorting Leticia now. This meant that her husband did not care about Leticia's safety anymore.
Dean stood guard in front of Judith's room with a gloomy face. He realized that the hearts of the First Empress and the Princess were much more wounded than he was.
Leticia had arrived in front of Judith's room knocking on the door. He tried to open the door but was locked. Leticia was expecting it.
"Darling, it's Mom. Please open the door" asked Leticia.
There's no answer. Leticia closed her eyes. He set his breath so as not to cry.
Judith was still angry with Leticia. He was behind the door curled up. His entire struggle to reunite his mother and father was in vain. The mother he loves, respects and looks like that.
Leticia returned to her room because of all the Empress's duties to Charlotte. He has no authority in the palace. Like a mere prisoner.
Leticia sat pensively staring at her empty drawer. His communication magic stone had been confiscated by Braun. Fortunately the magic stone could only be used by Leticia. Braun did not know who Leticia was contacting.
The connection to the outside world has been cut off. Leticia was also unable to send a letter. Even the letter that Emilia wrote to her family was checked first by the bodyguards. Dean is the same. Rose was closely watched on suspicion by Braun. They were all forbidden to leave the palace.

Duke Hilbright came to Judith's room. Judith opened the door to her grandfather. He just didn't want to meet his mother.
Duke Hilbright directly said his goal without further ado. "Your mother is unreliable."
Judith did not answer.
"It's not just that he can't have an heir to the throne, he's doing a stupid thing" Duke Hilbright continued.
Judith heard her grandfather while looking down.
"There's still one way. Judith, be the next Emperor. If you have a greater ability than Louis, the Emperor will definitely consider your potential. I'll help you take down Louis if you need to" Duke Hilbright said.
Judith was astonished at her Grandfather's words. Before, he could digest it. His grandfather left him. What is it for his grandfather, exactly?
Leticia woke up to the sound of knocking on the door.
Duke Hilbright came to visit him directly sitting on the guest chair. Leticia immediately sat down in front of him and asked Emilia out so that she could talk to her father alone.
"You're so stupid, Leticia," Duke Hilbright said furiously.
Leticia did not answer him, she was tired.
"I can't expect you anymore" his father continued.
Leticia was silent.
"In return I will count on Judith. Maybe he could be Emperor if he was stronger and more powerful than Louis. Even if she could not become Emperor, Judith could become the wife of another royal king. I told Judith this too."
Leticia's anger peaked. His father was always involved in his life. He did not want Duke Hilbright to interfere in his daughter's life either.
"Are you not using me enough?! Should I use Judith too?!" shouted Leticia.
"I don't use you or Judith. It was all for the sake of the better Hilbright Empire and Family," Duke Hilbright replied coldly.
"Did you ever love me and think of me as a child?" ask Leticia lirih.
"Of course, I love you and think of you as a child. I want the best for you."
Duke Hilbright's gaze did not feel warm at all. There is no care in it.
Leticia smiled wryly. "The best for me or for Dad? I was never happy though! Dad always sues me and dictates me about this or that! I was never free!"
"If you're too free, it's like this! You're embarrassing yourself, me and Judith!" Duke Hilbright was furious as he pointed at Leticia.
Leticia closed her eyes. His clenched hands trembled. Some of what his father said was true. He had unknowingly hurt Judith.
"I'm going to go. There's no point in me talking to a kid like you." Duke Hilbright approached the door.
Leticia opened her eyes. "Did you ever love Mom?"
Suddenly Leticia remembered her mother's diary. Duke Hilbright never loved his mother. Duke Hilbright loves power.
"My marriage to your mother was just a political marriage. What we need is not love but children. That is the duty of a most important noble" Duke Hilbright replied cynically.
"I see, then I want to cut off this blood connection," Leticia said coldly.
"I should have said that. From now on, don't ever call me dad, Leticia." Duke Hilbright opened and closed the door.
Leticia laughed so hard that her laugh turned into a cry. Now he knows which one to choose between his father or Isabella.
