Chapter 38 Blaire Heaven (4)

"How was the investigation last night, sir?" ask Isabella.

Gerald was a little surprised that his mind was not in his study. He told me what he got last night. The clerk of Blaire Heaven who used drugs and the nobles who were queuing in that place also wanted that disgusting thing.

"Is there any other information?" ask Isabella again.

Gerald remembered the First Empress. 

'Don't tell them I'm here.'

"Nothing, that's all." Gerald his gaze was still on the paper that was in front of him.

"I will contact the First Empress to convey this." Isabella was about to take out her magic stone.

"No need, I told the First Empress yesterday" prevent Gerald. Gerald looked at Isabella. Isabella's eyes widened slightly hearing her Master's statement. It's not like his master usually contacts other people the first time. However, there was no point in his Master lying.

"In that case, how is the plan going, sir?" Isabella looked at her Master.

"Tonight, I will make trouble for Count Blaire to come to that place tomorrow. I'm going to arrest Count Blaire tomorrow" Gerald explained.

"Can I help you?"

"No need, I can do it myself, Isabella."

"Good, Sir." Isabella.

Gerald continued his work. Last night's events made his mind go mad. 

By then, Gerald had finished investigating the place and was intending to go home. However, his eyes caught a woman who was no stranger to him. The woman was with another noble wearing that thing. The woman's appearance looked different, but she could recognize her as the First Empress. Golden eyes that he could not forget.

He saw her wanting to use the drug. Suddenly, he felt angry and pulled her from the place. Gerald took the First Empress to the VIP room he had just ordered, then shouted saying everything that came to his head. He did not realize that his hand was firmly gripping Leticia's hand. Supposedly, he apologized, but his mind at that time could not calm down. 

He knew his actions were very rude. He simply did not want their agreement to be void because the First Empress was already in her right mind. That place is very dangerous for him. He wanted to keep her away from that place as much as possible. He watched the woman not to act rashly.

His mind was muddled as a result of thinking about that woman. It shouldn't be his business. Why would he want to protect the First Empress? It was certain that their agreement would run to the end. 

Gerald didn't like the woman. The look in Leticia's eyes reminded her of her mother. Highlight the eyes of the person who was still harboring hope even though in front of him there was only despair. As much as possible, he wanted to avoid it. However, it would be difficult since he was cooperating with that woman.

Gerald who was already waiting for Leticia was startled with the First Empress coming with someone else wearing a magician robe. The Witch Leader of the Tower smiled as he greeted Gerald.

"I'm sorry for coming with the Tower Witch. Previously, I've contacted you via magic stone but it's not connected. Here's an arrest warrant for tomorrow. I will make a mess outside with the Tower Witch, is it alright Grand Duke?" ask Leticia while giving a warrant of arrest.

"Do as you please, Empress," Gerald coldly replied by taking the letter in Leticia's hands.

"You can have a fight with one of the people inside, Grand Duke. Then rummage through the place," explained Leticia.

"This is a magic stone to make an explosion, Grand Duke. By throwing it you can make damage." Dale took out an uneven round-shaped magic stone in a blackish-red color. He gave it to Gerald.

"You can throw the blast stone out of this building, Grand Duke. That way, people will know about Count Blaire's illegal business" Leticia added.

"All right, I agree" replied Gerald.

"Before that, I will make your eyes and the Empress change. It could be bad if someone recognizes." Dale flicked his finger, in an instant the color of Gerald and Leticia's eyes changed.

Gerald momentarily looked into Leticia's eyes which were now green. Despite changing color, he still felt Leticia's eyes shining. Gerald would still recognize the First Empress even if her eyes, hair or face changed. It's all just an estimate. 

He immediately turned towards the inside of Blaire Heaven. Two pairs of eyes stared at Gerald further and further away. I don't know why one of them made him uncomfortable.

Now, it has arrived inside. He looked around him. The pathetic nobles who use medicine only to run from trouble. 

He approached one of the nobles there, waking him up. Gerald hit him. The nobleman fell. He tried to retaliate but could not because of the influence of drugs. Some people shouted and asked the guards for help. A few more, especially the drunk ones approach Gerald to see the fight. They were cheering because they saw entertainment. There are also those who do nothing because they have floated on their own world.

Grand Duke Faust turned the tables that were there. The nobles were shocked and tried to escape. Nobles who used the VIP room came out to see the situation.

The guards have come to stop Gerald. The actions of the guards were futile as they faced off against the strongest person in the Empire. The guard fists floated one by one. Nothing about Gerald. Gerald retaliated with a crushing blow and slammed the man who was trying to catch him from behind.

Feeling that enough was enough, he ran out. Grabbing the magic stone that was given to him earlier. At the entrance, he threw the stone. The sound of explosions was heard.

Part of it was his fault for telling Dale about this. Leticia just wants Dale to stop the investigation into Count Blaire's new business because Leticia already knows about it. Dale asked all sorts of questions. Leticia managed to lie to him that she had never entered Blaire Heaven. He quibbled by coincidentally meeting Grand Duke Faust in front, then had Gerald investigate the place. 

Dale came tonight, for fear that something might happen to the First Empress. Letting her alone with the cruelest man in the Empire made her unsettled, even though they were working together.

Fortunately, Grand Duke Faust was not angry that Leticia had suddenly invited Dale. Leticia felt Grand Duke Faust's gaze sharp. Maybe he was a little upset, but most importantly their plan could go as usual. Gerald's eye color changed to black, making Leticia look into those eyes at a glance. It's like a dark night, and still a little scary.

As soon as Gerald came in, Dale put on his hood to keep it out of sight. He teleported into the surrounding houses, then banged on the doors. The people who are at home wake up. Seeing that there was no one outside his room, they returned to their beds. However, the commotion outside made them unable to sleep.

Leticia crashed into one of the nobles in front of Blaire Heaven to sneak a line. The nobleman tried to retaliate by pushing him. Leticia managed to dodge, so the noble pushed the person in front of her. The nobles started fighting and making a fuss. The entrance guards began to tear down the nobles. However, his actions were in vain. The chaos outside is becoming more and more.

Leticia moved away from there so as not to be hit by the explosion that Gerald was about to make. He's hiding behind the alley.

Shortly, an explosion occurred. The Blaire Heaven Wall was destroyed. Smoke out of there. Gerald immediately hid in the same alley as Leticia. The nobles ran away in fear. 

The people inside the house started to come out. They saw masked nobles coming out of the building hit by the explosion. The nobles ran staggered.

As soon as the smoke from the building began to dissipate, the people around the house were shocked. The nobility who was still inside the building laughed and grinned horribly. 

One of the fleeing nobles dropped his cigar. Then someone took it. The man looked at the cigar and intended to eat it.

"Don't be inhaled it's a drug!" shouted the invisible Dale. No one realized from whom this cry was due to the chaos.

The man immediately dropped the cigar back and shouted.

"The nobles are using illegal drugs!"

The commoners looked at this situation with looks of disdain. Leticia smiled seeing this.
