Chapter 39 Blaire Heaven (5)

After a long day of repairing his ruined restaurant, he was able to breathe a sigh of relief. He summoned a witch so that his building could be repaired in a day. He was trying to hold back his anger towards his employees. Innocent restaurant employees, the guilty ones are employees at night. If he suddenly scolded those who knew nothing, things would get worse. He'll vent his anger later tonight.

He had heard rumors that his restaurant at night was used as a place to sell drugs. He immediately paid everyone who lived around his building to shut up. With this, bad news about his new business would not be spread.

Count Blaire is forced to move his dark business from here. He'll tell his subscription later tonight. Then, he would make a calculation to the person who made damage to his building. He will claim the loss of his damaged building.

The day began to turn night, Count Blaire gathered his employees. He scolded them all out and pulled out their medicinal rations. They whine they want that thing to be given. 

Count Blaire felt the pleasure of the helplessness of these pitiful people. He feels like the most powerful person. The benevolent count will give them a ration if they work hard. His employees were immediately excited and returned to work.

This place is operating again without anyone realizing last night there was an attack. The nobles began to arrive. Some are still afraid, but they force themselves to come because of dependence.

The Count checked them one by one, looking for the person who was troublemaking at his place. But he has not found that man.

Then, there was one person who unexpectedly came, Grand Duke Faust. The person did not wear a mask to hide his identity. 

Count Blaire sensed an oddity, trying to escape through the back door. There must be a mouth that cannot be guarded, his inner self. The Grand Duke immediately prevented him and read out the arrest warrant.

"Count Blaire, you're under arrest for the spread of illegal drugs."

Count Blaire dodged, "You seem to have misunderstood, Grand Duke. I just run the business as usual. They're all here drunk with alcohol."

"You think I can't see. There's no bottle of alcohol in here, there's just this cigar." Grand Duke Faust showed me the cigar he was carrying.

Count Blaire tried to take it from Grand Duke Faust. The Grand Duke saved the cigar in his hand, then kicked Count Blaire. Count's down. He tried to stand up but, the Grand Duke restrained his shoulders.

"Proof is in hand, Count. You can't run anymore. Surely in Your home a lot of evidence that You hide. I'm going to look for everything" Gerald said.

Count Blaire's body felt limp. He will go bankrupt, and worse his life will be lost. And no one there cares about his misfortune. Though he built the place and helped them all to avoid problems.

Good news is back. The capture of the Blaire couple created a stir in the Empire. Their punishment has not yet been decided. Surely, Leticia hoped that they would get the punishment they deserved. Leticia's cigar is evidence of Count Blaire's illegal business arrest. 

They couldn't use Grand Duke Faust's cigars because they were broken. He broke it while in the VIP room.

Investors from Count Blaire's new business feel cheated. They're suing the Count. One of them is Charlotte. These few days, Leticia had often seen him restrain his anger.

Even so the public's view of the person who had invested in Count Blaire would be bad. People will question their relationship with the case. 

Rose came to Leticia's room. He sat quickly in the guest chair.

"I've got information about this card." Rose pointed at the wine card.

Actually, he doesn't need that information anymore. However, there was no harm in hearing Rose's explanation.

"So what do you get, Rose."

"It belongs to the nobles who transacted with Count Blaire. You must have known about this, Leticia. What is astonishing is that once this card was found in the temple."

Leticia's eyes widened. 

"Did one of the priests use that thing?"

"Thank you for your information, Rose."

Little by little the secrets that the temple has come into view. Leticia will disarm one by one the secrets that the temple has hidden. That way, he will overthrow Braun's government.

"No problem, this card let me keep it. I'll try to investigate again."

Rose immediately stood up, leaving the place. He got to the door, then turned around.

"I almost forgot. You didn't go into that place, did you?"

"No, Grand Duke Faust came in. He told me things inside. I met him outside." The same lie he told his friend.

"Good then."

Rose closed the door. Leticia breathed a sigh of relief. At least his two witch friends believed in the lies he made. He did not want them to worry and scolded him for being in a dangerous place. It turned out that Grand Duke Faust could keep a secret. Otherwise, Isabella would have scolded him already. 

The events in Blaire Heaven will be a secret between Grand Duke Faust and Leticia forever.

A man and a woman were in bed covered in blankets. The woman rubbed her head against the man's chest. Feeling happy, the man stroked the woman's hair.

"Don't worry, honey. I'll get Count Blaire and his wife to the right punishment."

The woman looked up at her husband's face. His eyes are a little teary. "They deserve death. Do you know what people say about me, honey? They assumed I was involved in managing the business and using that thing as well. I just invest without knowing anything. I was tricked."

A tear fell on the woman's cheek. The man wiped the woman's tears, then kissed her forehead.

"Relax, no one dared to oppose the Emperor. I'll punish them for death and I'm sure the bird will be cut off."

"Thank you, dear."

Braun buried Charlotte's head in his chest again. Charlotte hugged the Emperor. Want to feel his affection.

"Wouldn't Judith have learned to sword in the palace? I feel uneasy because she has to go to that person's place" Charlotte said.

"What are you afraid of, honey?" Braun held Charlotte's face to look at her.

"All of our plans to make Leticia and Judith's relationship tenuous did not work. I thought Judith would hate her mother for abandoning her child to a cruel place, but she didn't. If Judith keeps going there, I'm afraid that person will use Leticia's daughter to extract information about you, by kidnapping or threatening her. The man's reputation is getting better, he could have taken the throne." 

The worry that Charlotte felt, was actually also felt by Braun. The bad rumors that he spread were slowly beginning to be forgotten because of the achievements that Grand Duke Faust had made. He would soon spread bad rumors about Grand Duke Faust again.

"Your imagination is pretty wild too, honey. Surely, Leticia did not think up to such a point. Tomorrow, I will ask Leticia for sword master Judith to come to the Palace," Braun replied covering up his worries.

"For him to be enough to put his personal bodyguard in to protect Judith. However, that person was the strongest person in the Empire, Judith's personal bodyguard would not be able to defeat him." Charlotte curses Leticia's stupidity. 

"Everything's going to be fine, honey," Braun replied trying to calm Charlotte down.

"Thank you, dear."

They try to sleep quietly, forgetting the problems that are happening. Without knowing who is behind the problems that befall them.
