The Queen Who Shares Love

The Queen Who Shares Love
S2 Chapter 10 The Missed Peace

Swords fight in the training field. Arion attacked his brother carefully. He never won once from his brother. His brother's attack is very fast and not easily guessed, not too careful then he will lose.

Judith fended off and counterattacked Arion, looking for a gap she could hardly see. His sister's defense is getting better, since the last time they practiced sparring. Over time Arion will surpass him, Judith was increasingly eager to wait for the greatness of Arion.

Gerald as the referee watches his children get along. His gaze was distracted at Leticia and Ariana watching the match on the bench.

Ariana looked at her great brothers and sisters. Envy began to rise in his heart. Leticia clasped Ariana's hand, while making a sound.

"How was your day at the temple, Ana?"

"Okay, Mother," replied Ariana briefly.

The second daughter was being closed in front of her. Unlike the first daughter who always tells all her daily life.

Ariana wants to look strong in front of others and even her family. He does not want to be a parasite that always eats away at his family.

"Ana, don't think of Mom as a stranger" Leticia said.

Ariana shook her head slowly looking at her mother with nanar. "I just don't want to burden Mom with my problems."

"It's okay, it's family, isn't it? I'll listen to it even if it's a big deal." Leticia stroked her daughter's cheeks.

"Thank you, Mother." Ariana tried to smile.

Leticia hugged her daughter. "Mother loves you Ana. Never once did I hate or blame you for the events in the Lortamort Kingdom. So please don't blame yourself."

"Good, Mommy." Ariana returned her mother's embrace, a warmth she hadn't felt for a long time traveling all over her body. He missed this hug.

Thrown sword. Judith pointed her sword at Arion with a smile. Arion raised both his hands to admit defeat.

"Sister is great, I won't be able to win."

"One day, you can definitely beat me, Rion. Your development is very rapid, isn't it Dad?" Judith turned her head to her father.

Gerald nodded. "true."

"Rion, Rion, Rion," called a girl of the same age as Arion who was running towards Rion. The girl gasped for breath while smiling. When he saw someone else, he greeted the Emperor and Judith.

"Greetings to the Emperor. Judith went to the palace. I miss Brother Judith," said the girl excitedly as she hugged Judith.

The mother of the girl let out a heavy sigh, pulling her son away from Judith. "Give the right regards, Sylvie"

"I'm sorry, Duchess." Sylvie looked down while lifting her dress.

Judith chuckles. "That's it, it's okay Master."

Isabella smiled at her student. Then turn to Gerald. "I'm sorry for my daughter's carelessness, Your Majesty."

"It's okay, after all they know each other," Gerald retorted Isabella.

"What about brother? Is he here too?" sylvie asked Judith.

"No, Flint did the job I left behind. Didn't he tell you that I was going to visit the palace, Sylvie?"

"No, he's full of secrets" Sylvie grumbled as she looked away. Flint did not tell about Judith's departure to the palace, because her sister would shower her with questions. Both corners of Sylvie's lips were raised upwards looking at Ariana.

"It turns out Ana's here too." Sylvie approached Ariana and took her.

"Let's get together here, let's play" Sylvie told Arion and Ariana.

"Maybe," answered Arion full of pleasure. He hasn't played with Ariana for a long time, only he doesn't know how. Sylvie's existence makes it easier.

Ariana nodded. They go elsewhere, leaving their men and Judith alone. Leticia approached Isabella. His friend is no longer his assistant because of Isabella's busy being Countess and taking care of the children. Sometimes Leticia missed how they could meet each day to talk about small matters.

"The boy really. I don't know who she looks like" Isabella grumbled.

Leticia laughed softly. "It's okay, Sylvie can bring Rion and Ana closer to each other. I'm grateful for Sylvie."

Isabella took a deep breath while smiling. The friendship of her children and Leticia became an opportunity for Isabella to meet with Leticia on the sidelines of her busy life. There's no way he'll turn down Sylvie's adorable, albeit slightly troublesome, request.

"I'll take a walk first. Mother, Father and Teacher just talk." Judith walked away from them before one of the three answered.

"You are worthy of being Emperor, Princess."

"We'll help you, Prince Rion isn't as great as you."

His father's words were ringing in Judith's head. He was tired of hearing those words. Though the throne was never his dream, but why did they keep asking him to be Emperor. Even she became Duchess to declare her reluctance to become Emperor, but the sycophants did not want to give up.

"I don't think you're here Judith" said a woman.

Judith regained her senses from her daydreams turned towards the voice. He smiled at the woman in the palace witch's robe. "I miss my family, Aunt Rose."

"Didn't you miss me too? Since becoming Duchess you've been hard to find," seduced Rose as she brought her head closer to Judith.

"Of course I miss Auntie. Aunty can see me if you want."

Judith continued her steps towards the garden accompanied by Rose.

"How was the last revolt?" ask Rose.

"It's easy no mean constraint."

"Good then."

"By the way, where's Raymond? I didn't find it on the practice field."

"My son is my only way, not wanting to be a palace knight like his father. He became a holy knight in the temple." Rose shook her head a little annoyed. He felt lonely, if his son became a knight saw it every day would be easy. Sometimes he regretted not making a sister for Raymond.

"Ana never told me Raymond was a holy knight."

"Maybe they never met. Ray didn't tell me about Ana either."

Judith felt strange, but the thought was thrown away. Rose's words have a point, or maybe Ana forgot to tell a story.

"When are you back at your residence, Judith?"

"A few more days, Auntie."

Rose's gaze was distracted at her husband who was wailing in the garden. She immediately embraces her husband's arm without caring for Judith's existence.

"Why come here, honey?"

"I'm looking for the Duchess, honey." Dean smiled gently at Rose.

As soon as Judith found out, Dean immediately lowered his wife's hand. They are used to making out if no one is watching. However, Rose sometimes forgets the whereabouts of others once she sees Dean.

"Pardon me and my wife, Duchess." Dean bowed embarrassed.

"That's it, it's okay, sir."

"Prince Arion and Princess Ariana are looking for you."

"All right." Judith passed by not wanting to disturb the newlywed couple.

Ariana, Arion and Sylvie were on the grass field. Watching the new magic taught by his father has become his activity when he was in the palace. Ariana's astonished face can no longer be covered up. Long time no see, Sylvie was getting better. He also decided to become stronger.

Judith had come, she was greeted by the three children. The burden is gone. This is what caused him to want to come to the palace.

After returning to the Hillbright residence.

Knights lined up neatly on the training ground. They are the new knight candidates who will be selected by Duchess Hillbright herself. Judith made a speech while watching them one by one. His eyes were on one person. He got off the stage and continued to speak.

"A knight must be loyal to his Master. His soul and body belong to his master."

His steps stopped at the young brunette man. He looked at her sharply.

"That distinguishes knights from mercenaries who only want money" Judith quipped.

Leonard clenched his hands tightly. His path of becoming a Duchess knight would not be easy.
