Next, Benny's voice on the phone sounded vague, but I couldn't clearly hear their conversation even though Bayu was still in front of me.

“Let's calm, there's a plan. Okay.” After a short reply, Bayu disconnected the connection just like that.

“Only that?”

“Benny only informed about the development of Ana's position that her flight was delayed. Since this afternoon the boy was chatty, not usually.”

I frowned. “Cerewet why?”

“I mean, he kept asking me about my plans about facing Ana, he knew that I hadn't told you about this. He is indeed smart to read the situation, he can also always guess a person's character just from looking at it.”

“Oh yes? By the way, I've never asked you about Benny. Richly a member of the phonex team, you're very close and compatible with Benny compared to Lifer and Ronald. Aye right?” This is my chance to ask about Benny, the guy who pissed me off at the first meeting because of his assessment.

“That's because Benny and I were born in the same year, the three of us are the same age, compared to three-year-old Lifer and two-year-old Ronald. Indeed, sometimes the way of Benny's mind is too mysterious and difficult to guess but he can also be more understanding and responsive compared to Lifer and Ronald. If the four of us argue, Benny and I will always be on the same side.” I could see this guy's little smile when he told me about Benny.

The man with the same height as Bayu, the man who always displayed a serious and cold face, the man who had a glare as sharp as he looked at me, was, and a man who seems to be able to read whatever other people think.

“If Lifer sometimes thinks too old school, he looks more like a father even though Lifer has no children. Then Ronald, he was too insensitive and had a perfect poker face, his people rarely raised his voice but the pressure felt from him was enormous. As for Benny himself, hmm. I remember first.

when we're in training camp, because we're always seen together, people who've heard his cold logic will look for me to complain and ask me to talk to him so he's kinder to others. But besides, they're all smart and reliable so I'm not worried. But—“ Sayu stopped.

He looked at me with thoughtful eyes, as if he was investigating me.

“Why?”

“But why don't you complain to me about it? I just remembered, you haven't talked about Benny since your first introduction.”

I was frowning deeper. “What should it be?”

“I mean, all my acquaintances who have met Benny at least once, they will definitely look for me and say how cold Benny said despite what the guy said according to the facts.” I nodded, completely understanding.

“Really! She was like that to me too.”

“While I told him to apologize to you.” Hearing Bayu's answer, I remembered hearing their conversation secretly the night Bayu gave the antidote.

“Not necessary. I mean, I can understand. He's also like that instead of being mean to me, ‘kan? Everything he said made sense, but maybe it was his trademark. At least he is a reliable person because he will find out accurate data before acting.” I shook my head quickly, really not expecting him to apologize.

“But if he interrupts, just tell me! I'll hit it for you.”

I laughed at Bayu's defense. “No need trouble you to hit him because now I can kick him!”

Now Bayu who laughs hears my answer. A moment my eyes glanced at the wall clock, the clock showed almost half ten.

Then I shifted slowly to the other side of the bed and patted the empty side. “Come lay here. You should sleep comfortably.”

“No need! I'll sleep on the couch, you're a patient here so—“

“You have to sleep well to get full energy protecting me ‘kan?” I'm asductive.

Bayu shook his head softly while chuckling softly, but eventually he did not reject me and began to crawl and lie down beside me. Even though it's a little narrow, I don't mind.

“You should also sleep.”

“No! I'm not sleepy, I just woke up. Now that you're the one sleeping, this time I'll take care of you.” I said looking down at Bayu who was lying next to me.

“Now it's your turn, tell me something about you.” Bayu looks comfortable with his position.

I fell silent, thinking what should I tell her. The more I think, the more I think about my problems.

“How do you work?” Suddenly, the story reminded me of something.

“Oh yes, I just remembered. Now that I'm in the hospital again, tomorrow I have to go back to work. I can't stay absent.”

“No! Your wounds will hurt more tomorrow. At least you should be treated a few days.” Bayu immediately refused.

“Can't! I have to get to work. I won't be able to face my co-workers later if I get permission again!”

Bayu clucked, about to get up but I immediately held his chest so that he remained lying down.

“I work in front of computer and indoors. So, I'll be fine.” Reminded him.

“Although working indoors, you still have to think hard and it will make your body cape until the wound healing rate slows down.”

“I want to go to work tomorrow!” I said firmly can't be bothered.

Bayu looked at me seriously and replied. “Then what about dad and grandpa? They promise to meet us tomorrow morning to explain about today's incident.”

“You can tell me later.”

“I won't tell you. You just ask grandpa to explain to you later.” Bayu now sounds annoying.

I snorted in annoyance, even though I had often faced the child-like Bayu when we argued but still faced him very irritating.

This man turned his back to me as he closed his eyes.

Substantial.

I won't budge anyway, this is my future! This is my choice!

“Terden! Anyway I'll work tomorrow.” I said final, then took the cell phone and started to sink playing it.

After that, there was no more chatter between me and Bayu. He was still on my back and I was dissolved in the game on the phone until I realized an hour had passed.

Now it's half-eleven when I'm done playing games and keeping this flat object on the nightstand. Bayu position that is still the same as regular breathing indicates this man is asleep.

I inched down from the bed slowly so as not to disturb him, pulling slowly the infusion pole for me to take him out of the room. Not feeling sleepy at all, I wanted to do something.

The hallway of the hospital tonight was deserted, there was a long podium table not far from my room where the sisters stood guard. So I walked slowly over while dragging the infusion pole carefully.
