“You volunteered to stay with you because I was sick? Did you forget how you hit me in front of the door? Geez!” I grit my teeth once. Why do I always face people like this?

“After all what reasonable reason should I come with you? Obviously you are kidnapping me now!” I raised my voice, angry at him. Actually to get rid of this fear I have to bully her.

“What is the antidote for poison enough as a reasonable reason it?” She asked back, her calm tone in control made me even more frustrated and fearful.

I tried to open the car door but as expected, it was locked of course. The atmosphere of the streets that are jammed plus the windy weather this afternoon looks increasingly gloomy to be beside Rey. My mind didn't stop thinking about the bad things that were going to happen.

Because the man beside me was just silent and occasionally he turned to look at me, I finally could only stop and lean my head against the car window. Looked out with a blank look.

My mind floated thinking of Bayu, father, mother, Daniel, Doctor Stefan and the people I've been seeing lately.

Undeterred, Doctor Stefan's statement about my condition made me think so much that I didn't know what to react to. Unknowingly it made me feel dizzy but again I did not want to complain in front of Rey and made this man even more force me to stay with her.

I just kept quiet while closing my eyes a few times hoping the dizziness I felt could subside. Now I have to find a way to escape from it. I don't want him to take my phone when I'm gonna call someone.

“You don't want to ask how your brother Daniel paid me to deliver the poison to you?” The question breaks my daydream. I looked at her, looking at Rey's face from the side.

His cold gaze was still staring seriously at the streets. “No.”

“Why?”

“For what?”

“Of course so you know.” I snorted annoyedly not answering her question anymore. From the end of my eyes I knew Rey glanced at me a few times with a curious look. Driving feels different now. I feel like this car is going faster than ever.

“Jawab me!”

“What?? Don't force me! I don't want to!” I said sniffling while sitting up straight and starting to look ahead.

Then this car stopped on the side of the road that I realized had entered the road that was no longer jammed. Rey was looking at me sharply. “Why do you always make me wonder what you think?!”

I glanced back at him for a moment and did not intend to answer. Then this man continued as his hand gripped my wrist. “Say! Tell me everything you're thinking now?!”

I boldly rolled my eyes irritated while jerking the clutches of her hands out of my wrists. Suddenly the rain started to fall, his distinctive voice soaking the car sounded louder. The refreshing aroma of the wet ground instantly smelled.

“Let me go! Our business is done!”

“You don't want an injection of the antidote?” Rey's tone of voice sounded lower and quiet. He looked at me without turning his eyes.

“No! Now open the car!!”

Actually, I was quite surprised and did not believe his words about Bayu who could not bring home the antidote to the poison, can be sure he must be involved with the failure of Bayu's plan. But my heart suddenly beats fast hearing someone talk about Bayu. I felt like I missed him more than anything.

“How? You changed your mind?” He asked again this time he smiled a little, as if I was going to go with him.

“That confidence of yours looks so stupid! You now want to control me and plan to approach me?! You should have stayed in your role at the beginning which only regarded me as one of your victims or enemies!”

I saw his jaw clenched tightly. He was holding back his frustration on me. Then he re-positioned himself facing the steering wheel of the car, turned on his engine and stepped on the accelerator. This car drove fast splitting the deserted road in the midst of heavy rain.

For some reason I quietly sighed softly, my back tension was gone and I leaned back in the car seat with my head leaning against the window. After more feeling again, my head was more dizzy than before.

I realized, my body felt weaker as if my energy had been drained with heavy physical activity. What do I have to do to escape from it? His attitude like this was very uncomfortable.

My hand accidentally touched the paper bag that came out a little at the end of the shawl bag on my lap. This is the drug that Dr. Stefan prescribed for my heart.

Suddenly a crazy idea came to my brain. Strange attitude like this, then the rain that still flutters outside and the car door is still locked. Make use of all of this even though I know the risk that I don't manage to escape from it.

I took the medicine out of my sling bag, opened one by one the tubes to quickly remove all the contents while Rey was busy staring at the streets. He didn't pay much attention to me taking all this medicine out and lowering the window.

Then I quickly threw all my medicine away in the middle of the rain. The car that was speeding suddenly stopped.

“HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING??” Rey screamed furiously at me.

“All my heart medicines I've thrown away. Now we have to stop at the nearest pharmacy because I'm sick.”

“WHAT?! KAU—“ Rey bluffs in annoyance while hitting her car's steering wheel. As I thought, he unlocked the car about to get out of the car but I who opened the car door faster immediately ran away from him. Several times Rey yelled at me but all I know now is that I have to run as far away from her as possible even though I'm soaking wet.

The road in this street is like a lonely complex road, lots of luxury houses on the left and right of the road. The dizziness that I had felt increasingly disturbed my concentration.

My footsteps slowed down and I couldn't bear to start groaning in pain.

What else happened to me? Is that poison not enough to damage my heart function slowly?

My legs stopped running, I realized Rey's car had stopped beside me. I should have run away from her but I felt my body fall down, unable to support anymore. My whole body was soaked, the wind was blowing hard on my body and the rain was still pouring down the earth.

My eyes saw a pair of Rey's shoes running up to me. I didn't know what he was saying because slowly my eyes closed with a loud buzz in my ears and everything was dark and calm.
