EMBRACE YOU: Presence & Poison

EMBRACE YOU: Presence & Poison
Episode 89

A cup of warm caramel latte accompanied me and it was running out, I wanted to add more but it seemed like I had to stop. Too much caffeine when I'm sleep-deprived is not a good thing.

Then my eyes stopped staring at my door. Dad's still sleeping in there, should I see how he is?

Yep! maybe I should make sure it's okay.

I who slowly got up and walked slowly towards the door, grabbed the handle of the door that felt cold in the palm of the hand. On top of the middle-aged man's bed was still asleep with regular breathing.

Not wanting to interrupt, I ended up just staring at him briefly from the doorway and then closed it again. As soon as I turned around, Bayu was already standing in front of me, he smiled slightly then said. “Jack says if the anesthetic does not contain a high dose. So you need to sleep and rest now. Me and all my team members will be on guard here.”

“Do you also have to rest? Is it okay to call all your team members to work? I thought you guys were on holiday.” Bayu shook his head and pulled me slowly towards the dining table chair I was sitting on.

This man is sitting on my left side chair. “Actually I've been thinking about this since you knew-we met again. Can I say it?”

“What?” I frowned in astonishment and alertness which actually made him chuckle slowly at my expression. His right hand was raised, rubbing my forehead until the frown was slowly gone along with his swab.

“You're getting beautiful—“

“Of course! That's not in doubt. Now tell me the truth, don't be stale!” I folded my hands over my stomach, ready to listen to anything.

“Sshh.. It seems like all that doesn't work anymore.” I pinched his small arm as a joking glint flashed across the look in his eyes. Bayu chuckled softly then the next second his eyes turned more serious.

“Is there anything bothering you? I've often seen you quiet as if thinking of something.” Bayu asked me softly, his tone that did not want to be impressed forced this somehow makes me so fond of him.

I always liked the way he talked. Not too fast but not too slow, not difficult but persuasive, very gentle and gentle like a gentle breeze on the hill that makes you feel very good.

I was confused as to what to answer. “I don't know.” I finally said. Bayu frowned confusedly but he did not ask further, waiting for my next remark.

“Err—I mean, I don't know where to start. It's true that there are a lot of new things I've been dealing with lately. One of them is this house, this afternoon I met my mother with Mr. Seno's lawyer. I've decided to hand over all the inheritance from Aunt Rose to mother and Daniel. I also started looking

new place of residence.”

“You're moving? Where?”

“I don't know yet, but my friend Bela will help me find a new place around his home area as well.”

Bayu was silent for a while, as if he was looking for a suitable word. “What is all this because Daniel paid Rey for the injection?”

“Hmm.. Maybe it was one of them, but the reason I gave it all up to mom was because I thought I wasn't entitled to any of this. You know ‘kan how I did not get along with mom, all that because it turns out I am not mother's biological child.”

I'm actually embarrassed to tell her all this, but I can't hide it anymore either. Sooner or later, you will know. “Sorry. You sure it's okay if I hear about this?”

I chuckled slowly to see how Bayu was wrong. “No. Besides, you knew I wasn't so close to Mom. His attitude was always different when compared to Daniel. What matters now is that I'm relieved to have handed it over.”

“Thank you. Err—but there's one more. Can you help me?”

“What?”

“I can't find it myself, I want to use this girlfriend of mine to find information about Eternity.” group Bayu was enyum wide and his body had vertical reflexes.

“Send everything to me. What do you want to know?”

“Everything. Owner information, the names of the owners of the shares even the family pedigree of the owners. You will know why I am looking for info about this company when looking for it later.”

Bayumengguk did not ask much. Because this man has been obedient since I ventured forward to approach him and then my lips kissed his right cheek. My heart beats very fast while doing so, my face feels hot and I am ashamed when I see Bayu chuckles slowly between being shocked and receiving a short kiss.

“What is this kind of thank you?” Bayu smiled widely, his eyebrows moving up and down teasing me. But then he pulled me slowly and took me into his arms. I could feel her cheeks clinging to the tops of my head, my ears clinging to her chest and both her hands coiling on my back.

But suddenly his embrace came off and his hand pushed me so he could look at me. Bayu frowned and his right hand raised touching my forehead and my neck. “You have a fever!! You just don't want to go to sleep! I thought your hand was warm because it's normal, but it's a fever!”

“Oh really?” I asked back to touch my own forehead and neck. I didn't realize I had a fever. Bayu was about to stand up but I held his hand. He looked at me demanding an explanation but I just shook my head slowly.

“Can you tell me about the criminal earlier? Or about the antidote?” Bayu was silent for a while but he did not argue and sat back in front of me. From the look in his eyes I could see him as if he was thinking hard.

Then this man let out a slow breath followed by his facial expression that looked more relaxed. “Alright, what do you want to know?”

“I want to start with the antidote.” I answered without turning my eyes to her.

“The antidote is being examined by Dr. Stefan whether it is safe to use. This morning we will know the result.”

“You got it? Really got it?”

“Yes! What's up?” Bayu asked back, astonished by my reaction.

“Rey says if you fail to get that bidder and—“

“Ohh right!! I almost forgot about it!! You were kidnapped by him. Good thing you're okay. What did he say?” Bayu looks upset and worried. His hand raised rubbed the side of my head.

So sweet!

“He offered me to give the antidote. The rest he kept forcing me to accept his offer and stay with him.”

“Stay with him??”

“But I've scolded him a few times that he's a crazy kidnapper! His attitude towards me is fickle.” I answered quickly, not wanting to upset Bayu.
