“You're here?” Ask after being in front of me.
“Sister Evano told you to come here?” I'm nodding.
“Uncle also just arrived?” I glanced at the bag he was carrying with a man who was walking towards us. The man I knew was named Peter.
“Yes, because there is business this morning, so new uncle is coming now.”
“Good day, miss Icha.” Peter greeted me as soon as he arrived in front of me.
“Siang, Peter.”
“Come!” Invite Uncle Kenzo who was immediately nodded by me. This man embraced my shoulder casually for me to walk beside him. I never imagined Uncle Kenzo would dare to take a step closer to me, even though I only knew the Danendra family a few days ago.
I glanced at the two receptionists and smiled briefly at them.
“Where to Bayu?”
“She has a sudden affair and will follow.” I answered when the four of us were at the elevator door.
While waiting for the door to open, I realized that the employees who were about to wait for the elevator glanced at us were curious. Peter, who had pressed the arrow keys, had a glance at Uncle Kenzo who was still embracing my shoulder with his left hand, I could see a small smile on his face. I don't know if that's good or bad thinking.
“Udah lunch?”
“But.”
“Oh! Incidentally, uncle has not had lunch either. We will go to the restaurant that is always our subscription after meeting Evano.”
As soon as the elevator doors opened, the four of us immediately entered the empty elevator. I thought the waiting employees would come with us, but in fact they were just waiting for the other two elevator doors that were still closed.
“Mr Kenzo, aren't you too—brave?”
“What?” Peter turned to face Uncle Kenzo who was still casually embracing me.
I glanced at Peter with a frown upon hearing his words. “They will gossip that Miss Icha is your girlfriend and think you switch too soon.”
“Not going. Earlier in front of the reception desk Icha called me uncle.” Uncle Kenzo replied with a small smile, as if to show that he won in front of Peter.
“So?”
“Yes! Yes ‘kan, Cha?” I who was suddenly asked like this for a moment glanced at them alternately and nodded slowly.
Ting!
Not realizing that we had reached the floor, I looked up to see what floor we were on, apparently on the 10th floor.
“On this floor there are only spaces for meetings or discussions.” Tell Uncle Kenzo while removing his embrace to slightly tidy up his slightly tangled shirt.
I decided to follow in the footsteps of this man with Lucy who was also behind me. Peter handed the black suit - which I hadn't noticed in his carry since - to Uncle Kenzo. While stepping through the closed doors, the floor was completely deserted, there was no one but two big men guarding the front door of the end of the hallway. One of them sat behind the table and the other stood looking at us as if waiting for our arrival.
“How? What's going on inside?” I heard Peter ask one of the men as soon as we almost got to the front door.
“As you may have guessed, the leader finally discussed about the financial report.”
“Better I just wait here. I don't want to disturb.” I said after thinking about what would happen if a stranger suddenly joined the meeting, especially they were discussing about financial statements.
For a moment uncle Kenzo seemed to think but he finally nodded and turned to approach another door right across from his destination.
“Then you wait here.” He said as he opened the door and turned on the light switch.
I nodded and immediately entered with Lucy. From the end of my eyes, I saw Uncle Kenzo say something to one of the security men and went straight into the meeting room with Peter.
The room I entered was only a large round table with twelve padded black chairs lined up neatly. On one side of the room was a plain wall and a scroll hung on it, besides a white board stood in the corner of the room. This must be another smaller meeting room.
I immediately sat down on one of the chairs, the door of the room that was deliberately opened allowed me to be able to see if anyone came out of the room sebrang.
“Money is young, are you okay waiting here?”
I glanced at Lucy who was standing near the door with a frown. “Why?”
“If you are uncomfortable, we can move—“
“No no!” I shook my head quickly.
“Why don't you sit here.” I said as I pointed at the chair to my right but Lucy's eyelids widened, startled.
“No. It's not in the rules.” He answered stiffly which made me chuckle softly.
“Alright, I'm not pushy considering it's our first day together, maybe still awkward, yes ‘kan?”
Lucy looked at me with fast-flicting eyes and deheman softly. I know, he definitely can't answer.
But the door across the room guarded by the two men opened, there appeared the figure of Evano's father sitting in a wheelchair with Wildan pushing him from behind.
I immediately stood up as soon as Evano's father saw me with his little smile. Not expecting her to come straight out of the meeting room, I guess it took longer to wait for her.
“Icha, let's talk to dad.” He said in the doorway. I nodded and smiled slightly as I stepped closer to her.
Wildan retreated and resigned to return to the meeting room, I who took over to push his wheelchair just nodded.
“As usual, Rasha can indeed move fast, she instantly get people to be your guard.” Father glanced at Lucy who was walking two meters behind me.
“So, this is your deal?”
“Actually this was our impromptu discussion last night. I hope you are not disturbed.”
“Of course interrupted. I've never gotten used to bodyguards or guards.” My answer somehow made Evano's father laugh a little.
“Yes, that reason can be understood.”
“I think Dad called me here not to re-discuss this.” Guess I stopped our steps when we were already in front of a big window with a view of the city before us. Because this corridor is special for meeting rooms and quiet, it is very dear to this beautiful scenery is not often seen by people.
“Daddy feels selfish saying this considering we just know each other and meet but Icha, I can not eliminate the fact that you are the heir of the Eternity group. Maybe you haven't received the Danendra family but I hope you understand.” Hearing Evano's serious father's voice made my mind drift in memory of mother and father.
