Bayu glanced at me in shock, before he had time to respond to me, a loud shouting voice came from behind us, “DO NOT ANYONE COME OUT OR I WILL PRESS THE TRIGGER!”
THE DOOR!
I screamed in shock at the sound of the gun popping, as we were closest to the door, we refrained from getting out of the lobby.
Bayu hugged me tightly, taking me to crouch down.
“You're nothing ‘kan, Cha?”
“Who was behind me?” I asked annoyed mixed whining. My feelings are saying that's the most important thing right now.
“What?” Bayu put a little bit of her body away to look at me. His confused expression mixed with his breath that was severed from nervousness.
“Something stung me from behind. I don't know what it is.” Hearing my answer, Bayu quickly glanced at the people behind him.
I peeked out from behind her body and between the faces of those who looked down in fear, the only face of a woman I knew was looking at me and Bayu with an apologetic expression.
“You—?!” Bayu's tone was restrained and angry, but my gaze fell on his right hand.
Instantly my hair stood up and I shuddered to realize that in his hand was a small injection and the liquid inside was empty.
That means—dia—
“A—what is a hormone toxin?” My voice shakes with fear.
The woman, Nadya, shuddered in fear as soon as her eyes looked at Bayu. He didn't answer my question, which means it's true.
Right now, I feel like I don't care anymore about any threats that stopped us a moment ago. My legs seemed to lose strength and I finally fell on the floor.
I realized that cold sweat was drenching my face and neck. My palms were cold, but somehow my head thought cold and calm.
Next I watched Bayu pull the collar of Nadya's front shirt so strong that the woman was dragged closer. This man's strong fist indicated he was truly wrathful now.
Although from the side, I could see his face turning red with his facial and neck muscles interested, ready to hit Nadya.
Suddenly my vision was blurry as my eyes wet quickly and a few drops of tears came down my cheeks. Unlike my sore eyes and a sore throat, my lips lifted, smiling little at Bayu's anger.
“Wood, not now dear. Hold it first, hm?” I gently rubbed the back of this man but Bayu had no intention of lowering his anger.
“We talk about this later—people are looking at us.” I whispered little realizing everyone's gaze just fell on Bayu. They were shocked to see a man pulling a woman's shirt in front of him.
I rubbed my cheek rough with the back of my hand, looking around, looking for Mr. Baron, but the old man was nowhere to be seen.
Then back to the main character of this mess, the person who had fired the gun was a woman, her face I did not recognize. In his right hand was holding a gun and his left hand was grasping something small, what was even more serious was something on his body.
Bomb raft. It lights up with seconds there.
But all of that makes me not afraid at all. I wasn't nervous and just stared at the woman with a questioning look. What's his motive for doing all this? Especially this is in the special apartment of army families who are on service.
BUKK.
“P—pak Bayu, what is it?” A man behind Nadya asked nervously
“Bu Nadya, are you okay?” the woman beside him was about to approach Nadya, probably intending to see Nadya's state but Bayu replied in a very firm and cold tone.
“Whoever touches this woman, I will put you in the same prison as her!!”
“Te—calm first Mr. Bayu, actually what is done bu Nadya—” other men try to invite Bayu to calm down but this man does not lower his emotions.
“Bu Icha, what is—” The man turned to look at me but his words stopped as soon as he saw my reddened eyes and tears still coming down his cheeks.
I couldn't stop these tears but my lips were still smiling and calmly replied, “D—dia did something that— was so bad.” I hesitated for a moment to describe it, but only that word came to mind.
Although my heart hurts, but I can't think of any meaning to him. Mind empty. Am I okay?

PRAANGG!!
“A—WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING BACK THERE!! DON'T YOU DARE GET OUT OF HERE OR WE DIE TOGETHER HERE!!”
The sound of broken glass followed by shouting distracted all of us. The mad woman smashed the glass glass that was previously on the podium of the reception lobby. Everyone came back scared.
Unlike the people around us, Bayu suddenly hugged me, wiping my head and back carefully. His hand felt trembling and his breath choked.
I kind of pushed him away, to see how he was.
The face of this man was flushed red, there was still a trace of emotion overflowing from there but the look in his eyes looked sad and empty. I feel unfamiliar with her expression at the moment but for sure, Bayu is shocked by all of this. He didn't say anything, there was no smile that a few minutes ago I saw as if it had disappeared and would never come back. All this made my chest tight, my heart ache even more to see it like this.
“K—we have to get to the military hospital immediately. Could you please connect me with Doctor Stefan and Dika and Lucy? I'll make way for us to get out of this situation.” His voice was somewhat choking but his instructions were clear.
I nodded, smiling little. Bayu's fingers touched my cheeks, wiping the remaining tears from there. After that this man kissed my forehead before reaching for the bag lying not far from our place.
While I was looking for Doctor Stefan's contact, the corner of my eye found Dika and Lucy outside the building with the security officers ready with their guns.
Lucy gestured to me, pointed at the door and made a cross with both hands. That means the door in front of me now can't be opened, someone locked it.
I nodded in response to Lucy to coincide with that I found Doctor Stefan's contact.
“WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING BEHIND!!” The voice sounded clearer and closer.
I glanced at him walking quickly towards us, rather he was staring straight at me with the tip of the gun pointed at me.
Before I was as completely panicked and startled as the people screaming around us, Bayu's quick movements on the side left me even more shocked.
That distinctive, slow clicking sound turned my attention completely to Bayu. My eyes widened looking now at the hand of this man already clasped a black pistol in hand with both hands, leading to the mad woman. His calm, motionless posture was a sign he was ready to shoot.
