“You only drink this? What food do you like? I'll get it for you.” Renata said after glancing at the empty glass on the table.

“No need! I'm not hungry.” Reject me as smoothly as possible.

“Don't be so stiff with me. You will be my son, after all. From now on we have to get used to each other. I want to know you more.”

“Good. I like cupcakes.” Reply relented.

Aunt Renata looked pleased and told her to wait for a while.

I don't know what he's up to but I know, it's not as simple as taking food for me. I sat back waiting, until a noise could be heard on one of the stands.

I immediately turned around and took a quick step closer to the crowd and saw the cupcakes I wanted had already fallen apart.

Aunt Renata and one of the maids had both fallen there, Evano's father was also standing behind the woman, wanting to help her up but Aunt Renata seemed busy cleaning up the mess with the female servant beside her.

“Servant!” Shouted dad wanted to call another waitress but aunt Renata immediately held back father's hand.

“No dear, let me clean this up. Anyway it's my fault for accidentally bumping into him.”

“If you want this cake, you can ask the waiter. No need to take it yourself.”

“This is not for me. I'm taking it for Icha. She likes this cake.”

“Already already. Let the waiter take care of it.”

“But mas—”

The debate between father and aunt Renata was noticed by other guests around them. Dad pulled the woman to stand up and check her dirty dress.

“Come on clean first.”

“But Icha like—”

“Let me have a waiter take you to his room!” Father's words sounded firm, unwilling to be rebutted and forced Aunt Renata to get out of the attention of the people.

I watched the guests start whispering, thinking they must be talking about me and the woman. They didn't realize that I was also watching in the back row.

So this is the woman's plan to make my name ugly? She made a drama at my wedding?!

Now I'm really pissed! I'd love to hit something!

I turned around, took a quick step towards the other door that was connected to the kitchen, wanting to get out of this hall considering that most of the guests had already returned to their respective rooms since the clock showed almost one in the morning.

But my steps came to a halt as someone pulled my right hand from behind. I almost fell backwards but from the scent of perfume that smelled, I knew Bayu who pulled my hand and held my body with his body so that I would not fall.

“Wow! Boo, be careful.”

“I want to hit something!”

“Hah? What are you talking about?” Bayu pulled me to stand facing him.

“I'm upset now!”

“Who pissed you off?! Tell me.” Bayu's expression turned serious looking at me.

“Itu—”

No no! I can't talk here. Maybe there are servants or guests who hear, I will be their gossip material again.

My hands clenched in annoyance, not answering Bayu's question, I held a servant passing by around us.

“Wait, is there a gym? Can you show me?” I asked to hold the hand of the lady's maid.

“O—oh but gym already in lock—”

“Can you please open? Later let me take responsibility if there is anything.” Cut Bayu convinced him.

“Wait a minute, I call the officer on guard.” He went away to fulfill my request. I glanced at Bayu, he was also looking at me full of probing but I still didn't want to talk here.

It had been ten minutes that I hit the hanging samsak in front of me with a boxing glove that wrapped both my hands in silence. Thinking of the people I met today, some spoke with a look down on me, some deceived me, some intentionally made my name ugly, especially this is my wedding day!

Bayu was silent watching me from where he was sitting not far from my place. The man patiently accompanied me without speaking, the two warm drinks and wine that had been in the message from the waiter were already on the table in front of him.

Bayu's oversized coat that I still wear feels hot now. I stopped my punch and still with overflowing emotions, I opened the boxing gloves on both my hands to open the black coat of Bayu.

“Boo, I thought you were done venting everything.” Bayu walked up to me when I got back to wearing these boxing gloves.

“I'm not satisfied!”

This man sighed yet he did not refute, he instead stood before me, here another samsak of this fist.

“Come hit!” His screech held the samsak so as not to move.

I smiled as if Bayu was teaching me. Without warning I hit as hard as the power of this man's samsak.

“Hit again! Imagine this is the one who pisses you off!”

Bugg

Bugg..

“Current! You less hard hit him!” Sayu excitedly.

“Feel this!” My screams don't care about the sweat that's been soaking my face and neck.

Bugg..

“Boo, I'll buy you a samsak and boxing gloves at home.”

“Good! From now on I will definitely need that!”

“Start now? That guy will bother you again?”

“Definitely! Mom and Daniel are getting colder to me even though I said I asked Dad to rename the inheritance from Aunt Rose, now added the grandmother who doesn't like me, she's like an older version of mom. She doesn't like me being a girl, since my grandmother was expecting a male heir. Then there's the artist! He's playing drama here! AT MY WEDDING!!”

“What happened to the cupcake?”

“Yes! She made it look like I forced her to take the cake! People watching started talking about me!” I squealed in annoyance and stopped my fist.

Not wanting to hit anymore, now I feel my body is very tired.

My feet stepped closer to the small sofa that Bayu was sitting on, then threw myself there and leaned back while normalizing my breath.

Bayu who was still in his place started walking slowly towards me. My eyes saw both of his feet wearing only black socks without shoes. My reflex is to sit up straight and look for where his shoes are.

I only saw silver high heels that glittered not far from the foot of the table, it was mine.

Ahh right! I forgot, Bayu had unknowingly helped me take off my heels before I started hitting the samsak and replacing his.

Being angry is very detrimental. His little attention I didn't notice.

Bayu held out a small towel to me as she was already sitting beside me. I accepted it slowly, feeling guilty for ignoring this man to be preoccupied with my own emotions.

“Sorry.” My whisper looked down while wiping my sweaty face.
