Ten minutes passed since I silently stared out the window after I changed my patient's clothes with a maroon-red knee-length dress that I wore the other day at the villa event.

The clock shows at six in the morning, when I woke up at five this time, Bayu who also woke up near me immediately said that this morning he decided to let me out of the hospital, but not by working.

He wanted me to rest at home one more day and give an excuse because today was his last day on the score which he thought was his last vacation, then he wanted me to accompany him.

Given that we would rarely meet in the future, then I agreed to his proposal.

“Nona Icha, I heard you're going home today?” Suddenly the voice of the woman belonging to Sister Rini sounded behind me.

I turned around and saw him standing in the doorway.

“Yaa, by the way, thanks sister Rini for her help.” My answer was to step closer to him.

“It's my job. Importantly, please do not come back as a patient here.” He said smiling widely.

I chuckle softly. “If about it, I'm not sure.”

“Alright, then I say.” Sister Rini stepped out from before me after I nodded at her.

As I stared at the woman's back that was getting further away, I realized the hospital corridor this morning was still very quiet.

There was no one but the janitor and a few sisters who went in and out of the room. So I went back in and closed the door, deciding to sit on the sofa waiting for Bayu to come back.

It was not until a minute that I was quietly waiting, the door of the room opened which immediately gave rise to the man I had been waiting for.

“Sorry long wait, Boo.” He said in the doorway.

“Boo? That's a new call for him?” And Doctor Stefan's behind Bayu.

The two of them immediately came in and approached me. My eyes were turned upside down to see something in Doctor Stefan's hands.

“What is it for me to wear?” I asked while glancing at Bayu because I was sure he was the one who proposed this idea.

“Iya. So that you can be more careful with your shoulder that. I do not want to let the slightest interfere with your healing.” Bayu's tone of voice sounded firm, not wanting me to refute.

Doctor Stefan smiled slightly at Bayu, then he sat on my left side. “Nah Icha, let me help you wear.”

The black arm sling harness that Dr. Stefan was carrying started on my left hand.  My hand does not hurt, but my shoulder is a bit stiff and the throbbing pain is still felt.

“Thank you doc, we always trouble you even in the morning hours like this.” I said smilingly looking at Doctor Stefan.

This honey-brown man smiled widely and shook his head. “No, I'm glad I could help. Don't worry, I'm always in the hospital. Go home only if it really matters.”

“Doctor Stefan and professor Bora are the same. Loved his job up to this.” Added Bayu.

No wonder when I heard about Lifer's talk to Dr. Stefan about their engagement yesterday. They were not married, but they were long-time fiancees.

“Bayu is also very crazy with her work, but I can see, now she is even crazier to like you.”

I chuckled softly at Doctor Stefan.

“Stop! It's still morning, I don't want to be in your loving situation.” Doctor Stefan stood up and patted Bayu on the back.

“Then, go home and rest more. Don't come to the hospital often as a patient!” I nodded, smiling broadly in response. Then Doctor Stefan immediately came out of the room and left us both.

“I've brought your things to the car. Including gifts given by Bianca.” Bayu said still with his position, standing before me.

I nodded and immediately stood up to him. “So, what's the plan for today?”

“We will go home, you can rest first at home, I will accompany. After that you came with me to go home to my house.”

“Then, do you want to explain about the incident at the villa? Grandpa Jeremy and your father must have explained it ‘kan?” I asked as gently as possible, looking up at him.

For a moment Bayu just silently returned my gaze.

“You really want to know it huh?” Ask looks doubtful.

“Of course.” Bayu let out a long sigh and closed his eyes for a moment.

“What's up? Does this have anything to do with me?” I started to speculate. I'm sure, this facial expression points to Bayu not wanting me to know about this matter.

“However, you should also know this.” His murmur made me frown even more curiously.

“Actually, the person who hired those mercenaries to target me. Someone hired them out of jealousy for you.”

“Hah?? Wh who? Who was that person to be able to hire mercenaries and even use that poison. Is this Henry?” My question is really beyond expectations.

I don't remember any other guy near me being jealous of Bayu.

Bayu pulled my right hand, took me to sit where I was.

“Name Caesar Adinata. You have never met him. From the investigation, that guy hired a mercenary because he knew about our relationship. He is the one who will be betrothed by your grandfather, the owner of the group Eternity.”

“Hah?! Match again!” I screamed in disbelief.

“I got information about the plan of Mr. Alvaro Markus Danendra, he will soon hold an engagement party once you go home. Caesar is the sole heir to the largest property company in the country.”

“So yeah? No wonder he's the sole heir to another big company. It's like political matchmaking ‘kan?” I said.

“I also couldn't catch him because the soldiers who attacked us in the villa killed themselves. They leave no trace.”

“S—till suicide?” I stiffened at once hearing it. I never thought I would meet something like this in my life.

Bayu nodded, his facial expression looking uninspired. “I just got a photo of one of Caesar's trusted employees meeting those mercenaries. It does not directly prove he told her but after knowing the fact he will be paired with you, chances are he wants to get rid of me first secretly and look natural.”

I pulled out Bayu's right hand, grasping it tightly while looking into his eyes deeply. “Take it easy, I'll protect you. Now you have to rely on me. I won't let that happen again.”

“Hah? What are you frogs? Protecting me?” Bayu clucked in disbelief and was shocked for a moment.

“I don't know the man. How dare he touch you first! Anyway I'll call off the engagement and talk to Mr. Alvaro. He decides my future! Who is he?? We met never!”

“So what are you going to do?” Bayu asked me.

“Before we go to your house, we will go to the house of Mr. Alvaro. I'll talk to him so that this problem is quickly finished.”
